The selection of makeup is smaller than Young's, which is nearby, but they have a bunch of lipstick testers (so rare these days!) and $1.99 lipsticks, which is awesome for trying out new shades. Impressive selection of false lashes and glue; a bunch of hair color; some bun wraps and rhinestone blingy hair items, as well as cheap hair flowers. Pretty good selection of pantyhose, including rhinestoned fishnet and sheer (mostly) to waist, which is getting hard to find, in a variety of colors. I f you're looking for lashes, a wig, pantyhose or a new lipstick shade and want cheaper than drugstore prices, hello. Half a dozen lipsticks and two hair flowers was less than $20. $10 minimum for credit cards or Apple Pay and a fifty-cent fee. read more

Don't bother coming here. I've been a returning costumer for couple years to sometimes buy a couple wigs for occasions I don't feel like doing my hair . Came here today and the lady who knows me and has seen me purchase many wigs previously wanted to be rude today and tell me I can only try 4 on. I'm sorry but if you want someone's business when I'm the only person at the store I would think you would allow me to try different kind since they had new ones out . Interesting store... came here on accident thinking I could get some Wholesale OPI nail polish, but no. Not that kind of store! I should of known! When it said it was a beauty supply, I just assumed it was a professional wholesale location- it wasn't! Basic junk shop, set up for mainly Afro- American haircare items. They had nail polish but the crappiest of crap- no OPI! The girl showed me a few she had which were all about 5-10 yrs old- all discontinued and OLD! The nail polish they had was marked .59 ?? Wow I'd be afraid to use 59 cent nail polish?? I would of never of found this store but McDonald's was packed across the street and turned in here. Was interesting that's all I have to say! The owner, Nicole is such a sweet lady! Everytime I come into the store if she sees you, she always greets me with a very enthusiatic "Hello, how are you doing?" She also takes the initiative to recognize her regular customer's faces too. I know for sure that she really does because I'll come to the store when I know it has been a while since my last visit and Nicole will walk up to me and say, "Oh hello, It's been a while since I've seen you". Now thats some geniune, excellent customer service! I love that! Keeps me wanting to come back, again and again. The younger young ladies who work there sometimes to help out. (I'm sure they are her family members) They also are ALWAYS just as nice, kind, sweet and very respectful to me at the register while they are ringing up my items or helping me locate an item up & down the aisles as well. If I call ahead just to check and see if she has a particular item in stock, Nicole will always have it, and holds it with my name on it behind the counter until I come there to purchase it. I just left Nicole's Beauty Supply and I am impressed with her customer service. She was so patient and well informed about her products. I just moved into the area, and wanted to try a new look (hair extensions). I don't regularly wear a weave, but decided to check out her store based on pervious reviews. I was not let down. She has a large selection and she took time showing me her products and allowed me to touch them. My past experience at other supply stores, is I feel rushed to make a purchase. But, not with Nicole, she show me several pieces. Her prices are good, maybe a dollar more than the city. (Save your gas) Her store is well stocked but could use some updates. I just came from Nicole's yesterday and was very upset to find out that I was sold the hair off the manikin (display wig) and not given a new wig like I purchased. I had found several wigs which I liked and tried on. Each wig I was told did not come in the color I wanted which was a #4. When I did find the wig I wanted in a #4 I went to the front to purchase it. When I asked were the manikin head was that I tried on to look at it again to make sure I indeed wanted to purchase it, she pulled out the manikin which had another wig that had highlights in it. Which was strange cause the wig I tried on was a #4 and the wig she showed me was a 4/27. Not thinking anything about it I left the store. To my surprise, this morning when I got to get my new wig, the wig says #4 but the outer package says 4/27. Now I know she switched the wigs and gave me the one off of the manikin(display). The problem with this is everyone knows, the display hair does not perform like the new hair out the bag due to the amount of time it's been sitting on the shelf collecting dust and people trying it on and combing out the curls. Second of all, she was so worried about losing the sale by not telling me she didn't have the color I needed that she sold me the display and wasn't honest enough to give me the choice of buying the display wig with a discount or choosing not to make a purchase that day. Third of all, she could have told me that all she had available was a 4/27. I was already wearing that color wig and was quite comfortable with that color. I am extremely disappointed, especially since I have had good experiences shopping there before. But now will choose to shop somewhere else. Ps. I have crappy hair. No matter what the length, it's just crappy. The only thing I'm happy with is the color, which is black. I went in here on a whim, just killing some time. I'm glad I did. I never thought that I'd run across a new idea for me. One whole wall of this store was filled with nothing but hair attachments and wigs. Since my normal hairstyle is a stumpy ponytail, I was amazed to see the synthetic answer to all my hair woes. Not knowing where to begin, I located the sales clerk, and she was fabulously helpful. I walked out of there with a perfectly matched to my shade ponytail piece, that attached easily to my existing hair with clips. For only fifteen dollars to boot! A lot of places only cater to women of dark hair...as a redhead it is hard to find extensions in my color without ordering them online. I found this place by Google and I really love going here. They have a really good selection and the lady that works there, I believe her name is Nicole, she is super nice. This is a pretty large store and the customer service is great! The prices at Nicole's are higher than, say, bss (beauty supply stores) in Chicago. Expect to pay about $1 more on even the cheapest hair cap here than if you went to a bss in Chicago. If you didn't have time to go to the city, then you would save on gas by going to Nicole's. They do have wigs on clearance but I haven't had a chance to check them out. I love the customer service and no one follows you around while you are trying to shop. If you need help, they are very friendly and willing to help. I suggest calling ahead to find out which brands they carry. They don't carry Freetress brands. read more

I went there to buy Remy hair weave since I was running too late for an appointment to go to my usual beauty supply. A snow storm came out of nowhere delaying traffic. It's a nice store and they carry a huge selection however, the daughter is dishonest. I inquired about different kinds of Remy hair weaves they sold and was keeping track of how much each pack cost ( that I was interested in). The daughter was very helpful which I liked. Little did I know she was up to no good. I made my selection and was about to pay but remembered I needed a hair mesh. The cost of the 14" hair was labeled $49.99. While I went to get the hair mesh the daughter changed the 14" hair price to $79 dollars. She had the price gun in her hand with the yellow stickers, not expecting me back so soon. She must of thought I forgot the price (I looked at a lot of hair) but I only kept in mind the price of items I intended to buy. I said to her this was priced at $49, why did you change it? She said I was mistaken. I asked her to hand me the package. She tensed but complied and handed it over. I pulled off the new sticker she just applied to reveal the old sticker underneathe that clearly showed the $49 price. Nicole store is awsome! I have been going there for a while. But today I went in there struggling to find something for my curly hair. So one of the lady's that worked there, idk if it was someone related to her or not but she asked me if I was looking for something in specific. I told her my hair struggles so she took me to the right spot and told me about all the products that could help. Obviously the higher the cost the better the product. So she recommended a product that was around the price range I could not afford. I was honestly just looking to buy a product at a reasonable price and try it on my hair to see. So I ended up buying something I could afford to try. As I was checking out unexpectedly she handed me a packet sample of the product that she recommended. Wow! I was so happy. Now I really get to try the product and if I like it, actually purchase it. Instead of wasting my money if I dislike it. Nicole and her assistant demonstrated a great concern for making sure that I was able to get everything that I needed from the store. Nicole was very patience with me while I decided what type of hair I wanted to buy. She displayed a constant smile on her face while she showed me several samples from behind the counter.
