They welcome you in and offer complimentary coffee, water, or champagne/mimosa. Fun! There's also guest wifi. As I was there for a complimentary service, I let my stylist Kristi pick what style she was going to do and she chose the Cosmo-Tai. She did a wash and then styled my hair- it took about 1.5 hours (I have long thick hair) and it turned out beautifully! My hair also smelled amazing. I would definitely consider coming to Drybar for an event- it's $59 for a one time blowout, but if I lived closer/had more events in my life the Membership seems like a good idea- $49 a month for a blowout or $95 a month for two blowouts.

After the color and cut she dried my hair straight and I told her the color looked good straight, but I would not be able to tell how I liked it until I styled my hair curly. I tipped over 20%, bought the products she suggested and scheduled my next appointment with her before I left that day. After styling my hair curly at home I realized it did not look good curly. The color placement looked like thin pieces of straw in my curls. It was not chunky bayalage highlights I asked for. I went back to see her a few weeks to show her how my hair looked curly so she could fix it at our next appointment. She was extremely rude and told me I disrespected her by coming to her salon to express my dislike for my hair. She then sent me a lengthy text and said I should find another hair stylist.
