We arrived around 745a and no one else was around. Only some stragglers from the prior night still getting after it. We ordered two lattes with almond milk and two breakfast burritos. The one I had was really good, beautiful presentation for breakfast. The ratio of potatoes:eggs:bacon was a little off and it seemed like a little more potatoes than other stuff in my partners. Overall, though it was super convenient and they do have some really good specials for fish tacos and drinks later on in the afternoon. We only had one meal here during our stay so can't speak too much else. They did seem to be reasonably busy throughout the day when we would drive by though.

The grilled fish tacos were tasteless, the shrimp nachos were covered with cheese that tasted like glue and the shrimp were simply laid on top, no seasoning. And to make matters worse, we can only pay with cash. I went to the cash machine and made a mistake thinking I was getting American $$ but ended up taking out only $17 in pesos which cost $8. House Salad - I never knew I needed goat cheese ice cream on a salad but I'm telling you it was AMAZING! My girlfriend had the Octopus in marinade. She gets the Octopus everywhere we go. It was very tasty and not overcooked like is often the case. I had the Catch of the Day, Sea Bass. I have the fish of the day everywhere I go (live in St Petersburg, Florida, so I'm a seafood junky). It was, again, like last year the best fish dinner entree I had in Tulum. That's between about 12 different places I've eaten at in Tulum spanning the poshest hotel zone restaurants to the most reviewed and highly rated places in Centro in town. It was mouth-wateringly good and flawlessly prepared. I highly suggest trying the Mexican Tea cocktail - a refreshing, but not overly sweet, well-balanced drink that I loved and my girlfriend switched to despite it not being anything like what she would normally order. Whole grilled octopus -- absolutely incredibly prepared. Tender, so much flavor, and the potatoes are delish. Deep fried soft shell crab taco -- favorite bite! This thing is HUGE! All four of us got one and loved this most. Shrimp molcajete -- think Mexican gravy with seafood. And some fried cheesy stick things that oozed and the cheese just didn't stop! I've been here multiple times now and each time the service is impeccable. They are welcoming and it's all operated by locals -- no hip looking expats here, all the real deal. And I love that!
