I would never recommend this place to anyone. unfortunately they have already removed my wisdom teeth and they've screwed me over so my back is against the wall. they deserve negative stars. Dr. Z isn't the issue but his office is poorly managed. There are 2 office managers and one of them (Devahna) is completely unprofessional, condescending, and just talks to talk without any actual merit or useful information coming out of her mouth. Find another oral surgeon because this place will just screw you over in the end.

Sometimes my appointment gets pushed back 15 minutes depending on their schedule, but they always let me know in advance. And I've never waited very long to be seen. I got venous ablation and sclerotherapy done in his office, as I had bad varicose veins under my skin (and a few spider veins), which would only become more troublesome and noticable over time. The ultrasound exam revealed the source of my problem...which was actually the cause of the veins and swelling in my feet and ankles. I underwent treatment and the problem has resolved. They were wonderful. The treatment was easy and although there was some post procedure pain it resolved quickly....so happy never to have the problem with swollen ankles again.

When there is a problem, even after hours, he'll come into the office to meet you and take care of you, because his patients ALWAYS COME FIRST. He even provides a free movie theater event to all of his kids every year! Plus, he's nationally known, a member of many prestigious dental associations and recipient of many orthodontia awards. If you don't use Dr. Seidel, you're making a big mistake!

After receiving my insurance claim, I noticed I was due a refund back from the cash payment I had made the day of my procedure. I called the office to check on it. Only then was I told that there was a $145.00 "one time single use instrument" office charge that isn't submitted to the insurance company and is "an office charge for instruments used during the procedure". Sounds like something that should be included in the cost of a procedure since these instruments are needed to perform the procedure. As if dealing with insurance companies isn't bad enough, I shouldn't have to worry about my doctor charging extras to get more money out of me.

When I started here 4 years ago they were a booming business where they made crowns in there…read moreoffice, did implants in there office which was very convenient, but shortly after my first implant, the Dr who performed it left there practice, and a new dentist started my treatment, but after my second visit he also left the practice, and he had performed a bridge which failed a year after it was put in, so I was moved to a new Dr again who wanted to repair the damage from the previous bridge disaster, and reccomended a implant, but they no longer do implants so they referred me out to a new dental surgeon who extracted 2 teeth and started the implant. At this time this doctor noticed severe decay in front of a molar he pulled, and said he doubted the tooth could be saved. Why after 4 years being seen at patuxent dental did they never see this decay? When I called and complained they set me up with an appointment, and then the day prior to the appointment they called and said they needed to end our patient client relationship. So if you complain about their bad dentistry practices , rather than fixing the issues they will simply drop you as a patient. It is very easy to see why two highly skilled dentist left this practice, and believe me I should have never gone there, all they care about is big money procedures like crowns, implants, etc while they let the rest of your teeth rot. I contacted them two months later because they still put the claim through. Almost 5 months latter I received a bill for a balance due. They didn't due the root canal and charged me over $500 dollars. I would think twice before using this company for any dental work. Never again for me.
