I received advice from this office to have a root canal, which I followed. The trouble started when the crown was literally shoved into place following the root canal. TWO YEARS now of discomfort, bleeding gums, irritation and pain when flossing or chewing on the left side of my mouth. 3 medical opinions $$$ verified a "violation/impingement of biological width." In layman's terms- a bad crown. Just yesterday I had to have the crown removed, and now await a new crown. Shame on this office. The worst medical experience of my entire life. Horrible. read more

Love my hygienist Sam!!! She is so personable and very gentle when cleaning my teeth. Will not go to anyone else in the practice. Dr Miller is very pleasant to work with. Had some crowns done by him and it was a very pain free experience. Not a big fan of dental work (as I'm sure most people aren't) but he explains everything. I will say that I always have to have a deep cleaning and it is not covered by my insurance so I have to pay out of pocket every time. Not a fan of that. Also was given a dental treatment plan for a crown and an implant at the astronomical charge of almost $8500 out of pocket!!! Almost passed out at the front desk!! read more

Yes, they have the newest tech equip & are very friendly. Before with Dr.Dargan, my 6 month cleanings were totally covered by my insurance, but not now... why? The deep clean & new 4 crowns were suggested... yep, did both & insur did cover some, but not enough. WOW! Once I was tied up on Rt4 & arrived 10min. late for my cleaning & was told that I needed to re-schedule... really? They did have time for X-rays though & then suggested a deep clean instead of a standard one & I ended paying much more. Wow! That left a bad taste because Dr.Dargan would never ever have done that to me,( because of having him for at least 20yrs?) He always cared the best for his patients. Being a senior citizen on a fixed income does not seem to matter to them except for showing politeness. read more

I called to see about getting in to see a doctor about a w the phone she said I should come in to be checked out that day that it may be infected. I showed up and only had to wait a short time I was called back the lady that took me to the room I can't remember her name but I will tell you she was absolutely the best!!! She knew I was not thrilled to be there tried her best to get me to relax. She took an X-ray and I could tell there was something wrong Dr. Moy came in and was talking to me I explained to him how I was not happy to be there that in 1988 I was in a accident and my ja was crushed. I had my mouth wired shut for 4+ months then a few surgeries after that it's hard to open my mouth now. Dr Moy explained to me that it will hurt but not bad that he would tell me if I should be put to sleep to have this done. So he gave me my first shot to try to numb me up it wasn't working then another still not working so he tried a different medication the third time I was starting to feeling tingling then he gave me a fourth around the tooth it was numb now. Truthfully it didn't hurt just a lot of pressure and the cracking sound when he pulled out the roots. I believe I will come back to Dr. Moy he and the helper lady (Mary)were AWESOME trying to make me feel comfortable but I was still scared to death. Update 5.17.0 Went back for a checkup after seeing Dr. Moy 2 weeks ago, because of the corona virus it was pretty empty and I didn't even had to wait. Mary is awesome she called me back and asked how have I been with my tooth she remembered how nervous I was. Dr Moy came in looked at the area he removed the tooth everything was good, he looked around at my teeth then gave me a mirror and explained what need to be done. They made me feel comfortable enough to come back to get my teeth cleaned, hopefully the person cleaning my teeth won't hurt me since I can't open my mouth very wide that's the reason I didn't go back last time I had them cleaned the person that cleaned my teeth didn't understand my situation. She kept telling me how I should've came sooner not waited so long well when I told her why she should have been more concerned so I would return. So, again if your like myself have issues with your mouth or just don't like the dentist please give Mary and Dr. Moy a try let them know your nervous and I'm sure they will help you feel more comfortable. read more

This used to be a 5 star place, me and my entire family have been coming here for about 30 years. Then new owners and techs took over and the standard of care took a nose dive. All of the sudden issues that have never been brought up in our regular 6 months appts are now major costly, problems, not to mention the fact that the new tech who saw my father before the new doctor was incredibly rude and said if he didn't want to proceed with their new treatment plan (As I said he comes every 6 months for nearly 30 years and has never had this issue before) then they wouldn't see him any more. I foresee alot of people leaving the practice now. Really sad. read more

I have gone to this office for over 25 years. The dentists and protocols are new. I went for a cleaning and had no pain or concerns. They convinced me I needed two crowns. While in the waiting room I overheard two other patients who were also told they needed two crowns. The procedure was horrible. I was left in the chair in the middle of it with a device in my mouth for about 20 minutes while the dentist saw other patients. The doctor was rough and my previous crown experience was easy. Three times the assistant made a temporary tooth and even dropped one on the floor, rinsed it and put it in my mouth! Afterwards I had radiating nerve damage in teeth toward the front of my jaw for 6 weeks. The doctor ordered two root canals without even seeing me. The teeth with the temporary crowns were not where the pain was occurring. I did not need root canals and refused to have that procedure. My father and his wife have been told they need thousands of dollars in dental work. They are not experiencing any symptoms or concerns either. Billing was interesting too. After my insurance was used I paid out of pocket. Now I have a huge credit on my account. Be very disconcerting if you go to this office. read more

Ever since Dr. Dargan left this practice it has gone down hill. They do not respect patient rights. I have braces, and I told them I do not want X-rays because it will cause an artifact making the X-rays undiagnostic. I get my braces off in 9 months, so it's not worth worth radiating me for a less than optimal exam. (Radiation dose is cumulative) They refused to clean my teeth or do an exam without X-rays even though as a patient you have a right to refuse. They wouldn't even take into consideration that I have never had a cavity or anything wrong with my teeth in my 32 years of seeing Dr.Dargan and had X-rays a year ago. When Dr. Dargan was practicing he allowed you to make decisions unlike these new doctors who have a one track mind regardless of the fact that every patient has a different situation. The last time I was there they kept trying to upcharge me and have a fluoride exam despite never having a cavity. Ever since Dr. Dargan has left they are about upcharging for unnecessary services. They refuse to address the situation and have blocked me despite being a patient there for years. Over braces for 9 months, proving a huge lack in patient care since the practice has turned over. read more

If I could give them no stars, I would. Mary the account manager is a very angry and mean woman who spits insults at patients when they have any question about their bills. When I called to inquire about the coding used on my husbands exam, she said that without my permission, they did an extra cleaning on top of the routine cleaning that he was scheduled for. The insurance did not cover it, and when I called to ask why this was done without our permission or knowledge, she snapped at me and said if he took care of his teeth better at home, they wouldn't have to do an additional procedure. I asked to speak to a manager and she said "that's basically me". I asked if she meant she was the practice manager and she said that she would no longer talk to me and hung up. I called the office back to find out who I could speak to about this horrible interaction with Mary and the front desk girl put me on hold. She came back and said she spoke with Mary and there is no one else who I could speak to. I work at an optometrist office so I do understand the policy and procedures as well as insurance bills. This office is a horrible example of what is wrong with the medical field. I would never recommend this place and I encourage you to find a new dentist if you are unfortunate enough to be a current patient. read more
