I'm not sure where to even start. ADT is atrocious with customer service. I reluctantly took a…read morepromotional deal and was lied to for the conditions of the deal when it ended. Not only did they lie about ending my service at the end of the promotion, I was transferred several times and on the phone with them for several hours trying to get things straightened out. The second to last guy that I spoke with began yelling and talking over me and then played victim when I talked over him. I demanded a supervisor who claimed to submit the issue to the "back office". Never received an update from the back office - even though the conversation I referenced about the promotion was "recorded" by them. Long story short, I received a bill for two months, one being past due because they didn't follow through with what the cancellations department promised me for the promotion. I finally decided to pay the bill today just to get them out of my life, and the website won't even take my payment. The advice I was given by their chat assistant was to just pay it twice and they'll refund it immediately if it already when through. My company also has a corporate account with Everon (the business side of ADT). Seems like losing two accounts over a lie and a $200 is pretty pointless, but that's the hill they're standing on. Horrible customer service, prices increase unexpectedly, and our cameras would constantly lose sync with our internet and we would have to set them back up. I do not recommend them and am quite honestly surprised they are still in business when their employees yell at customers over the phone. Customer loyalty should be one of the top pillars in a successful business.

Our representative has failed to find a solution to the issues he has personally acknowledged and Hackett has refused to refund us the thousands of dollars paid for the system. They continue to call for past due balances on monitoring for a system that was not being monitored. The representatives are arrogant, ignore requests and take months to respond. Service (if they answer- which is extremely rare) can literally never fix the issue. I have experienced issues with them for years now in both my homes, two family members have had their Hackett systems removed and switched companies because Hackett is terrible in all respects. Our experience with Hackett is resorting to litigation. Do not ever use Hackett.
