Jim and his team came out to do the install and addressed some additional needs to increase the air flow, make the existing unit up to proper code, and make the filter track so it fit filters appropriately. The last unit installation I'm sure was a DIY job or done by a less qualified company. Jim addressed all those issues. I was on a meeting when he was all finished and didn't get to go see the finished product until after he left. It was beautifully done and very neat.

I ended up needing a new system, but two of the nicest and most informative technicians came out the very next day and completed the work. They talked to me about the system and what I can do to maintain it. The price was fair and what they quoted originally did not change after the work had been done. Bottom line, I have an older unit that needed a repair/replace and they set me on the right path. Degenhardt gave me the facts that I needed, and I will call them again. I recently repaired a furnace, and it needed a subsequent repair. Degenhardt recommended the repair, and recommended I use the previous service provider to maximize warranty. He also noted considerations when I decide to replace, which all made sense. I can turn a wrench, and I have serviced my HVAC in the past, but Degenhardt is next level. Dan clearly is well-informed on the practice and science of HVAC as evidenced by his assessment, recommendation, and the fact that I am in a nice cool house again. TL;DR: Hot AF STL in Aug. Paid another contractor to fix the AC fan, broke again. Degenhardt recommended a fix, I trust them, way less sweaty. Call them again no hesitation.

They called about 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know they were on their way. That was great! When they arrived, they told me what was going to happen. Dante did the sheet metal work while Jim did the a/c tower. They were pleasant, friendly, respectful, and efficient. Imagine enjoying Christmas Day with your family all day and you notice that the house seems too…read morecool at bedtime. With the thermostat set at 71F, the inside temperature had dropped to 66F with the furnace apparently running. We went to bed and called Sigman first thing in the morning...now the temperature was at 62F with the furnace still running! Sigman sent Sam out who was courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem as a clogged condensation line. He disconnected three lines and blew them out and we were back in business in roughly 30 minutes. Fast, clean, affordable, and professional! We have our HVAC under contract for seasonal maintenance and have that done twice a year. We would definitely recommend them.
