My first experience with Night Owl was in Miami. Years after moving to Orlando, they opened this location. I always like it when new cookie spots open near me. This Night Owl has some displays showing some of their main flavors, as well as some I haven't seen in the year they've been open. The tables are decorated with sprinkles inside them. The counter where you order has examples of their current flavors, so you can have an idea of what they look like and the size. You're also able to use your phone to pay, so Google Wallet, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay all work. I've tried various flavors. My favorite being the brookie, which is a chocolate chip cookie and brownie fusion. The brownie cheesecake is really good too. If you like Nutella, try the Dirty Diana. Their cookies are big and consistent, and they're warmed up when you order them. I wouldn't say they're amazing, but they are good and big. The chocolate dough in particular I find it to be a little dry. But the Nutella on the Dirty Diana mitigates that. I don't like their chocolate chip, as I find they overdo it a bit with the chips. But that's a personal preference. They often have limited time cookies, which I'm not sure if they're monthly or weekly. Some of those are interesting. I enjoyed their Coquito cookie, which I believe is their play on Christmas in July. Coquito being a Puerto Rican Christmas drink similar to eggnog. Service is always good. They describe the cookies if you would like to know more about what's in them. Kate was great during my last visit. I was curious about their limited time cookie, and she described it for me and even gave me a tea spoon to try the cream that was on top of the cookie. Every time I'm in the UCF area I have to stop at night Ow cookies for my friend Matt specifically he really likes the dirty Diana cookie. Their cookies are one of a kind, very unique, also very heavy and very delicious. I really like the s'mores cookie it tastes just like a campfire s'more and the best part is the flame of the marshmallow on top so it gets all melty. I had not been to Night Owl Cookies before so thank you Yelp for sharing this experience with me! I was able to go during a time it was not busy so the person working there was very welcoming and took the time to share information about each cookie, as well as recommend some of her favorites and client favorites. Oh how I've missed an Ave Maria cookie! Night Owl was introduced to me back in 2015-2016 when visiting family in Miami. The FIU location was the only one at the time so it used to be packed full of hungry people at 12am! The employee who helped me was very friendly and patient with my decision making. But the cookies, in my opinion, were just middle of the road.
