I recently lost my father and was gifted this peace lily from his funeral. I successfully killed it in the matter of a couple weeks. I took my sad plant to their little shop explained what was going on and how much this plant meant to me. He showed me what pot to buy (which I knew I was gonna need) and they repotted it for free with the purchase of the ceramic pot with drip tray. Gave me a quick plant lesson on how to care for it and sent me on my way. It's officially 6 months later and my peace lily has now bloomed and is thriving. The shop is fun. David, the owner is helpful and good at helping you pick out the right plant for the right lighting, plus he explains how to keep plants alive (which I am so very bad at-but getting better with his help!) Learned he even makes some of his own pots. Which is so cool! Plants were reasonably priced. The two I purchased were about 17 bucks. The pots were a bit more but the quality was excellent. I am sure I will be back as I gain more confidence in being a plant mom!

Think of it as Ohio's most photogenic meeting of the minds: aspiring influencers, local families, plant-loving aunties, and at least one goat that clearly thinks it's in charge. The farm setup is charmingly chaotic in the best way: hay towers, bouncy castles, cardboard cut-outs, and a lineup of goats ready to be hand-fed at 50 cents a handful. Rows upon rows of tulips in full bloom awaited us, $1 a stem. It's part aesthetic, part strategy--because yes, the seasoned grannies will coach you on the art of pulling bulbs with stems intact. (Pro tip: look for those slightly opened blooms if you want better replanting success.) We caught the tail end of the season, so while I wasn't dressed like a walking Pinterest board, I got the full experience. Dirt under my nails, sun on my face, and a haul of 18 vibrant tulips for $19.31. The wait to check out was a little steamy--sun beating down, line inching slowly--but it gave me a chance to eavesdrop on gardening tips and admire a dog wearing flower crowns. There are also food trucks and coffee carts if you need a break, and plenty of plants and bulbs for sale if you're looking to extend your floral moment beyond the bouquet. Just a heads-up: parking is gravel-based, bumper-to-bumper, and you'll probably end up next to a pickup truck with a decal that reads "I only stop for tulips." Welcome to the Midwest. Would I go back? Absolutely--only next time I'm dressing for the photo ops and the heat.

The property itself is gorgeous and I would recommend if you are looking to buy a Christmas tree or plant as they had a large greenhouse selection. There are offerings for children's activities such as petting zoo, hay ride, hay bale maze, and possibly other things. I appreciate the go get em spirit to take advantage of every opportunity to make a living this holiday season. By the way, the entire grounds are surveilled, which also feels odd. Just so odd. ODD!!!! We ended up getting 2 nice pumpkins for a decent price, though with the unpleasantries of phone restrictions I would probably have preferred a grocery store purchase. I very much wish we continued down to road to our initial destination, though there is also a sense of satisfaction having helped a very unusual albeit not exactly pleasant small business. Pumpkins are taxed, so be ready for that. They take card and cash. Cashier was extremely charming and friendly.

I have shopped Och's Fruit Farm for the past 6 years. They were great 6 years ago, great 5 years…read moreago. They were good 4 years ago but I noticed prices were jumping, but produce was excellent. I think it's been family owned for years. I continued despite prices. Last year I went for Tomatoes and something changed again. New people , not as friendly but produce was good and I purchased apples again. Prices took a big jump last summer (2026) and new cashiers, again. Even though I was a long time customer the service wasn't so good or friendly. Prices on everything too high. I haven't been back this year because I can't afford them anymore. So if anyone reads this I would like a second opinion, especially from the owners. I wonder if they have fewer customers? Anyone, please respond? Explain what changed? Thank you.
