They have complimentary coffee, juice & water by the front desk. Big fish tank and a pool room for the members & visitors to enjoy. On the same hall way you have a small library room, gym room, salon & a little movie theater as well. Basically, the first floor consist of many activities for everyone who are living there to enjoy. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The maintenance of this Plaza is spot on with soft music and very non slipped floors.

This nursing home is located in the old pearl city town pass the ewa court and close the to the…read morepearl city florists. Its a 5 story building rehab recovery home. If you are visiting there are several parking stalls for visitors. There is also a parking attendant on duty to let you know where to park as well as security. The lobby has an attendant to make sure you are a legitimate visitor and they take your temp before entry as well. The staff is very attentive and friendly and It seems like all the staff is happy and love being there. They dont just seem like workers fullfilling their duties they seem like family and I sense they genuinely and sincerely care for their guest (patients). The place is well staffed and clean. They also make sure to keep guest busy and entertained with daily events and even live entertainment! Everybody would rather be home but if rehab is required this place is a good alternative for a home away from home. A great place for your loved one to recover surrounded by sincere loving staff and a clean entertaining environment not to mention I heard their food is pretty good too.

After grandpa recovered from a mega life event/ illness, I informed grandpa's inpatient medical team that we'd like hospice care with Malama Ola and they quickly assisted us with coordinating care with them. I am VERY GRATEFUL for everyone at Malama Ola for taking EXCEPTIONAL care of grandpa, myself and my family during our short encounter with them. Everyone was truly wonderful. So many people to be thankful for (please forgive me if I don't remember everyone's names, there were MANY phone calls throughout grandpa's care and transition). But thank you to Marche (our patient advocate), Christian (our admitting nurse), Danny (our spiritual counselor who played his lovely guitar for grandpa), Jay (our social worker), Jorge (our nurse aid), and Brad (our LPN). Ultimately, we decided to go with Malama Ola based on their quick response, willingness to answer questions before signing anything, and unique approach to Hospice Care. Our main point of contact was Marchè. She was highly responsive, encouraging, and such a pleasure to work with, considering the reality that we were living in.
