I purchased an $85 charm bracelet from this store while visiting Mystic, Connecticut. The very…read morefirst time I wore it, the end ball came off, leaving me with a bracelet I could not use. Because I live several hours away, a friend who lives nearby offered to go to the store on my behalf. She made multiple attempts to speak with the owner and was told that the owner would need to approve a replacement. After several messages and attempts to resolve the issue, the owner ultimately communicated only through text. I was eventually told that the manufacturer does not sell the end ball separately and that I would need to purchase an entirely new bracelet for $49.95, even though I had already paid $85 for the original bracelet. I also asked for the manufacturer's name so I could contact them directly, but that information was not provided. The owner explained that the end ball is designed to be removable so customers can add and remove charms and that, if the ball is lost during assembly, the rest of the bracelet is useless. That is exactly the problem. The ball came off during the very first time I wore the bracelet. I was not asking for a new bracelet or a refund; I was asking for the small replacement part needed to make the bracelet I had just purchased usable. I understand that the store has a no-refund policy and offers exchanges or store credit. However, store credit is of no use to me when I live several hours away and, after this experience, have no desire to purchase another item from the store. I also do not believe I should have to purchase an entirely new bracelet to replace a small removable part that came off during the first use of an $85 product. The owner stated that the store backs its products for manufacturer defects but that this does not apply to "lost items." However, this was not a ball that I simply lost after normal use. It came off the very first time I wore the bracelet. There is a significant difference between intentionally removing a part to add charms and having that part come off during the first use. The product itself was disappointing, but the customer service and unwillingness to find a reasonable solution were even more disappointing. I was left with an $85 bracelet that I cannot use and was essentially told that my only option was to spend another $49.95 on a new bracelet. Very disappointing experience. I would not purchase from this store again!

This place is just OK. The store offers mostly jewelry: necklaces, earrings and bracelets sold…read moreindividually or in sets. There were a couple of drink pitchers for sale as well. I do own some Murano pieces however most of the jewelry here was not my style. The prices appeared to be good, but not having purchased Murano glassware state side I can't be the judge of that. During our visit there was some beautiful Italian Opera music playing in the background, which was very nice. Sadly, the one older female employee on duty was also playing VERY, and I do mean VERY, loud, sometimes inappropriate videos on her cell phone. She was glued to the screen just scrolling one after another with no break. An absolute parody! As we left, my shopping companion mentioned how anyone could have 'stole the place blind' and that employee would have never known! I'm sure they have camera's in there but my goodness. The loud video audio was very off-putting. If you are in the market for Murano jewelry, take a look. I hope you have a more competent employee on duty.
