The Nike Clearance Store, located in the Centralia Outlets, is the real deal and somewhere that anyone looking for affordable Nike gear has to go! We usually always stop in when we are returning from up north and stopped in yesterday. They were busier than the previous times we've visited and a lot messier and unorganized. Not a lot of good selections for women's shoes or purses and bags. The selection for shoes was much better for kids and women or men. Staff did not come back to greet or check on anyone to see if they needed anything during our whole time there. The line was so long and moving very slowly, that we ended up leaving and putting our items back. read more

Service: Parvi was the cashier and she was super rude. She asked if we had the Nike app which I do since I'm a member. At the end of my transaction she asked me to do the survey and answer questions. I asked her if I say the long line was an issue does that direct give her a negative review, Parvi said no! So I answered my questions with honest answers. Parvi then asks me to please go back and change my review. I looked at her and said I wouldn't do that because it wouldn't be an honest feedback if I changed my answer regarding the wait time. The line was so long it went all through the outline they had. There were only 4 cashiers working. It's 2 weeks from Christmas and it should've been fully staffed. Value- it's Nike. First time at this location and I have mixed feelings . First a disclaimer that I already get discounted prices in Portland locations so the prices didn't feel like a crazy deal for me considering you can't return or exchange. But having said that I still think that they are a bargain store for a reputed brand like Nike just ensure you try everything before you purchase. The collection is big and definitely a lot of variety but finding your exact size can be a challenge .I was not very impressed by the shoe collection because it's certainly outdated and very limited . I haven't been here in a couple years and didn't realize they moved across the street to the bigger store. They used to be right next to Quiznos. Overall, the selection is amazing here with all the clothing being really cheap as everything is on clearance. Good selection and lots of shoes too. Only thing was I didn't see any toddler clothing. The Nike Clearance store really is that cheap, the sneakers on offer are sometimes typically 50% of retail! Some sneakers and sandals along the back walls are what I would call a super bargain, as low as $15. The basketball shoes are much higher than cross training and running however always cheaper than anyplace else. The eBayers are typically found here buying during the sales. The clothes items are always cheaper than the Nike Outlet and main stores. The only thing to remember is it's a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Unfortunately, there are no returns so be sure to try everything on before you leave. The individuals who work there are also very helpful, however the new Nike App is being used to access inventory, so the team will not look for additional sizes for you. The new location is much bigger than the old location across the parking lot. The prices are usually way better than here than other Nike stores, however it is FINAL SALE-unlike other stores because it is a Clearance Store. The biggest issue I have with this store is that they only let resellers buy the good sneakers. They restock shoes throughout the day and any shoe that is decent like Jordans they fill in the shoe area by size. They do not let regular people have an opportunity to buy them as they walk with the shoes and try to avoid people that they don't know and then put the shoe in the size run if they see a reseller they know. So basically you have to follow a worker to have a chance at a restock and if they see you and don't recognize you they will walk around the store quickly until you are gone and they see somebody they know. So instead you see resellers with a ton of shoes. It would be way more fair if they kept it behind the cash wrap or let people ask for what heat is available by size. Very strange experience. On August 15, 2024 - While at the register, a Caucasian female cashier asks another co-worker to recount our cash payment. She then says "for all involved, it is best to have someone else (another Caucasian female) validate our cash payment". Which is even worse. After payment validation, we are quickly rushed off, we begin to question their motive and choice of words. Walked to the car, but decided to return about five minutes later to speak with a manager. When we ask for the manager, the same Caucasian woman that validated payment shows up claiming to be the manager (which I seriously doubt). We mentioned that entire situation was extremely disrespectful and rude. We were respectful and did nothing to them. Wanted to understand why they acted like this? During the entire conversation, she performed a "Gray Rock method", lacked accountability, and even resorted to gaslighting. Answering obvious questions with other questions - mainly to deflect. For example: Asked why the initial cashier needed someone else to validate our cash payment? She, the so called manager, said "the initial cashier is unsure if the cash amount is correct?" So, I asked "why didn't the initial cashier simply recount the money?" She gave another "Gray Rock" expression and then said "I am unsure if the initial cashier knows how to count money." Come on, if unsure that she can count money, why is she working at a register? That excuse is ridiculous. For example: We stated, "you are the second woman that recounted/validated our cash payment." She replied "Was I actually the one that recounted the money?" Give me a break, we just interacted with you five minutes ago at the cash register! Talk about gaslighting. Yikes! Frankly the issue isn't about validating money, but about race. For some reason, the initial cashier had a problem with an Asian woman (my wife) and Black man (me) purchasing something together. At this point, it is obvious discussing with her is waste of time, requested to speak with her boss. She goes in the back and 10 minutes later returns with a man (his name is T.J.). Asked if T.J. is their boss or their manager, he claimed so (which I seriously doubt again). T.J. then stated this is done because their cashiers are coming up short regarding cash payments. Fair enough, but what does that have to do with us and why were they so disrespectful? He replied with "yeah sorry, I probably shouldn't have told you that. I will discuss with staff". Hopefully an actual manager will resolve their problems, so it doesn't happen to anyone else. This was unnecessary and racial profiling. DO BETTER! read more

The employees seem to have a rapport with certain people that I would label as resellers, who come in often, and have the best chance to get everything. We just spent over an hour and a half in this store where we had shoes marked 39.99. When we got to the checkout they rang up as 99.99 and the associate said there was not a sticker on them for a price. So we made our purchase for the rest of the items and decided to go find a different shoe. We found the same shoes and again they were marked 39.99. We went to purchase them but someone stopped us and said that they were also 99.99. Why are they marking multiple shoes at this price and not honoring it?? What a waste of time and now my kid is crying because he had his heart set on them the whole hour and a half we waisted in there store. We will stick to buying Adidas online, they always have great deals and awesome customer experience. read more

I was able to find a pair of Nike shoes and a pull over for a great price. Here is why I gave it a 3 star. This was based on my visit on 4/16/23. 1) No control over customer limit in store. There were way too many ppl and not safe for children under 5 to walk with their parents. Plenty of staff at counter and no floor staff. There were about 30-40 ppl in line in the store and it was muggy. 2) There were a lot of resellers scanning items. Why is the Nike store not banning these resellers? This is not great people actually there to shop shoes to actually wear. The floor staff (if they assign any) should be kicking these resellers out of the store. read more

Traveled 1.5 hours to visit this Nike Clearance store since I had never heard of a Nike Clearance store until recently. It was packed at opening and my heart was beating fast thinking of all the deals I was going to find. I really thought I would spend my whole check there. I was WRONG! Prices weren't much different from an outlet. I found 5 pairs of shoes and paid an average of $32 per pair, however, all but one normally have a lower retail value. I estimate saving around 50% off retail on 4 pairs of the shoes I bought. The 5th pair, is the SF AF 1 and retailed for $180, was marked to $29.99 plus had an additional 20% off. I'm not a shoe connoisseur by any means, just a frugal shopper. Bottom line, I would definitely go again, but only if I'm going that way or going to be in the area. read more

Then I ask for the same discount and the Asian chick immediately asks for my ID!?! Of course I have it on me and provide it to her, but why didn't you ask the middle-age white folks for their ID's??? You see a young Hispanic guy wearing a beanie and you presume he's lying cause he looks like a thug?!? I've shopped in here many times and never once have I been asked for ID. Stop! Ok, I have a day off and I saw on the app that there is a deal going on with Nike. I know this location just opened a bigger store, so I thought great, this would a good time for me to check it out. Well I get here, I make my selections and go up to the cashier to make my purchase. I show her the add and I was told they were not honoring that as it is online only. Well the header of the add says online and in-store. I show her that. Than she still said no. I asked to speak to a supervisor and when he approaches she is loudly whispering in his ear that somebody (I didn't catch name) told her they are not honoring it. So he takes my device, scrolls down to very bottom and shows me the small print that states buy online and pick up in store. The way he did it was very belittling and I felt like I was being treated like a kid. Point #1 why is Nike doing something like that. It should have clearly stated buy online and pick up in store, instead of being in the small print. Point #2 Apparently I'm not the only one that was mislead by this ad, Since the cashier felt the need to whisper to the manager/supervisor that she had already been told they don't honor this in store. Now the reason I don't buy online with Nike is there shoe sizes are all over the place depending on style. Some I'm a 9 , others 9.5 and even a couple of styles I find a 10 fits the best. The young man, which I have no complaints about, was very understanding as he helped find the right shoes, admitted that Nike tends to run small. I live 45 miles away from here. Well guys, how you honored your discount, you would have been out about $15. But instead you've lost a customer for life. Each time I've frequented this place I've left feeling like I hit the jackpot. I bought 3 pairs of women's shorts and drove home about 5 minutes from the store location to try them on. Dressing rooms were packed on a Sunday and I didn't have time to wait in the line. They didn't fit so I headed back to the store to try and exchange for one size bigger with recipe and they wouldn't exchange shorts. Same day return with all tags still attached and wouldn't exchange for a size bigger. Now stuck with $60 worth of shorts that don't fit. Extremely frustrating. Workers were not helpful. The visit to this store was done on a whim to see what they had to offer and I'm glad that I did! There are some really great deals to be had if you can find the right size and style. The items sold at the store are from the previous season's catalog, but you will find newer items, too. I totally scored on a great UW jacket which was over 50% off! WOO HOO! I happened to visit on a really busy afternoon on my way back to the Emerald City, so the store was predictably busy with tons of people crowding the aisles. They did have a lot staff manning the registers which made waiting in line tolerable. I would definitely stop by again when passing through Centralia! When you pick out a garment look it over and make sure there is greese stains and crusty food stains on the garments. They have a strict return policy. Also some of the staff are stuck up . Clean, organized and great deals! This is not your average Nike outlet store as we had expected. We got out with men's and women's lunarlon flyknits for $63 each after the extra 20% off footwear. Lots of clearance clothes with an extra 30% off the marked price including Nike running shorts for $10. Employees were helpful finding shoes and answering questions. I've been here several times because it is the half-way point between Portland and Seattle, which makes it the perfect place to stop for a bathroom break (restroom is right next to Nike). It's always a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I find really great deals and sometimes I'm not interested in any of the items in the store. They have great discounts and sometimes even have additional sales on top of items that are already marked down to the clearance prices. I haven't found shoes that I like here because I have a popular shoe size (womens 7.5), but I've shopped here with people who have found amazing deals on shoes! The store itself can get really hectic on weekends. I waited about 15 minutes just to try something on and an additional 10-15 minutes to checkout. Some of the workers here are really great with customer service while others seem to barely be working. I was helped by Janna, who was really great!
