They are one of the largest clearance stores in the state and have a HUGE selection of shoes and clothing. At first, because the store is so big, it can be a wee bit overwhelming; but once you get the lay of the land it's easy to navigate and find what you're looking for. Plus, if you do any questions or wonderings, the staff have always been eager and willing to help. Being a clearance store, you don't always know what you're going to find and they don't always have everything that you might particularly want, but that's part of the fun and excitement about going there ... you never know what you're gonna find!! There is a large selection of men's, women's, and kid's items and you can't beat the prices - marked considerably lower than actual retail prices. Do note that because it's a clearance store there are NO returns or exchanges. So, be sure to try on everything that you're considering buying. As many people know, Nike makes exceptionally high-quality products and they can be very costly. So, off to the VF Outlet we went. I had never been there before but they carry Lee, Wrangler, Vanity Fair, JanSport, and more. When I walked into the store I was surprised at the quality and variety of items- sunglasses, backpacks, dress shirts, jeans, sport coats, dress slacks, etc. As I walked toward the back of the store I saw a whole rack of Joseph Abboud suits. I have too many suits as it is, so I just looked to check out the price. $40.00 for all three pieces!!! What?!?! Suit coat was $20; pants $11.00; and vest $8.00. I walked out of the VF Outlets 20 minutes later with two pairs of jeans and a three piece suit for a grand total of $60.00! I don't think it is possible to do better!! From now on I am going to do a monthly VF Outlet visit to check out the deals!

They were friendly to other customers in the time I was there however so maybe my timing was just poor. The store was not laid out in way that made much sense to me but with some wandering you could find almost anything. They did have a cute kids section that had some pacific NW themed books and toys. They were not marked down but we picked one up anyway. Similarly the blankets were priced as is not discounted or applicable to any promotions they had. If you're in the are i would stop in but wouldn't go out of my way to shop here.

There are lots of things that I can't tell what they are and I know they try to write as much as they can on the items but there's so much inventory to go through. It's a lot of fun to rummage through the bins and find treasures. Such a unique store with super friendly staff and very clean. I just wish more of the public would be kinder to the items, a lot of people go through the bins tossing stuff about like a dog digging for a bone! I bought a pair of pants one time and immediately fell in love with them and I had a good run with them before they finally had to get retired. They were durable and unlike other clothing brands did not fall apart in a matter of weeks or months. So I was longing for another pair of Volcom pants... at least one other pair for sure but I didn't really hang out at the skate shops much anymore and when I would occasionally would go into one I could not find the brand there. So I was super excited one time when I was traveling on I-5 South and drove through Centralia and saw that there was a Volcom outlet store there. I HAD to go there. It took a little bit of time since I don't go to Centralia much but I finally made it to Volcom a few weeks ago. I loved this store! I found more of those great and durable pants again for very good prices. At the time you could buy two pairs for $69 which isn't bad compared to what you pay for at the skate shops. Usually one pair is around that much at those places. The staff was very friendly and helpful while I was here trying on the clothes to see if a sale was going to happen... which it did. I got two pairs of pants and they still fit and feel great! I'm definitely coming back. I'm tired of getting clothing brands that don't last regardless if these stores are very close to where I live. I will do the drive to come down here and get more Volcom!
