Now the selection and tidiness of the store may not be the same caliber but for the most part it's a typical good ol' Shelby version. Staff were minimal but were willing to help and answer any questions you have. There is only one register located on the parking lot side for the sports goods and another one at the hunting counter. The register for the sports section leading into the mall is closed, probably for good as it had a pile of boxes and store shelving kinda piled on top of it. The selection of items was solid but don't expect everything to be put back where its labeled, again the staff was minimal so restocking was eeeehh... ok-ish. As for value for your money, its about the same as any other sports store, I wouldn't say you get bargain prices but you may save some gas money not having to drive to Gastonia for your gear or guns. We however struck out looking for baseball pants as the selection had already been picked through and we headed off to the real Academy in G-town. Overall its a solid 4 star Shelby business.

I have an 18 month old son that is in a few different sizes. It sometimes makes it hard to figure out what size clothes to get him because I don't always know how they will fit. Well when I entered the Gaffney store on Saturday a staff member immediately greeted me. She let me know of the promotions going on. Ana then showed me where I could find my son size. I let her know the struggle that I was having with his clothes and the way they fit. She explained to me that she has the same problem with her son and that she would be more than happy to explain how certain clothes fit and would help me pick some things out. It was very nice to finally have someone that knew exactly how the clothes would fit my son. She knew her product like the back of her hand. I will recommend her to my sister who also shops at Osh Kosh for her daughter. It was nice to feel cared about in a store instead of feeling like everyone is just after my money. Overall I had the best experience in an Osh Kosh!

It's not meant to be derogatory but as a compliment! The shoe section is huge! And I do mean huge! I went here today in the hopes of finding a really nice pair. To my dismay; I couldn't find what I was looking for. Back in the day it was very common to locate a pair or two or more of the Bostonian brand. Not any more! As a matter of fact I purchased a pair back in the late 1970's. It was my first introduction to Bostonian; and I loved them!I think they were 25.00 dollars at the time. Back then there was also a couple of department store's on Main Street in Gaffney. They sold Bostonian shoes for 100.00 a pair! That was a lot of money then!When Walmart came here; Main Street shutdown rapidly! No department stores or anything related survived. Guess what? Bargain Shoes survived; but they had to relocate away from Walmart! I was a bit disappointed in my trip here today as I didn't recognize any brand names in the shoes. They all seemed generic. I still would have bought a pair but nothing felt good on my feet! As you can see in my pictures Bargain Shoes stocks a little bit of every kind of clothing! I still suggest that this is a good place to shop for bargains!
