I adore this Nike store. We've been going here for many years and managed to find so many good deals. The customer service is always great. I do wish they had a better variety of in-store, basketball shoes and a better woman selection. Overall, there is lots of things to find, and if you go there at the right time, you'll be walking out with some steals and deals. The quality is decent. First off, I am not nor have I ever been a fan of Nike. I can honestly say, I have never owned a pair of them. I had a pair of Nike sweats once, but they were a gift from my brother lol. Buddy of mine had some black Nikes on recently. My roommates pointed out that he really liked them. Asked my buddy where he got them, he said Nike at the Village. So the roommate and I ventured out to Nike at the Village. They still had the sneakers. Roommate didn't like them in person lol. He tried on several other pairs tho and in the end, couldn't decide on a pair. That's fine. I ALMOST bought a pair of gym shorts, but they didn't have any other color in this style other than red. That's fine. Shawn. Shawn is the incredible employee who helped us. He immediately came up to us like 2 seconds after we walked in. Quite a difference from my Foot Locker experience (that review is posted). Shawn just moved here from California, but we won't hold that against him, haha! He was great! Truly went above and beyond to help my roommate. Was super patient with us, with anyone who asked for his help. He is super friendly, super accommodating, and if someone annoys him (don't know if that's possible tbh), you'd never know. He seems to truly love working with the public. As someone who has worked retail and did so for many years, it's a tough industry to be in...especially with how entitled people are! And these days! Hard pass. Shawn tho, as mentioned he seems to truly love it. He's only been in the Boise area for a couple months and glad he's here. He is the type of person that makes this city better and certainly the type of guy that makes going to Nike..and enjoyable experience. He's a good dude. They're lucky to have him. Other employees I spoke to..super nice as well. One guy came up to me to say hi to my dog. This guy was soooo nice! Wish I got his name. It's always fun to see how people are around dogs :) I mentioned above that I've never owned a pair of Nikes, but if they had the right pair, I'd buy from this store. It was a better experience than expected. BUSY. AS. HELL tho lol. Memorial Day weekend plus it's in Meridian. Anything at the Village is always a madhouse. I like my sneakers to be bright AFFF! I'm so bored with black, blue, gray sneakers. So I started switching it up. Nike seems to regularly put out bright a_s sneakers lol. I just haven't found the style I like. When that happens tho, if they have it at this store, that'll probably be my first pair of Nikes lol. Whoever runs this store, is great at it. They hire the perfect people. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming and thanked you as you walked out. Foot Locker (see review if interested) they, all FIVE of them were in a huddle, goofing around watching their phones. Went to spend big dollars on school shopping for the grandkids. The bad - the sales girl was completely rude and ignored my request 3 times to slow down as I verified the sale prices at checkout. I really felt that she either had a bad day or this is the wrong job for her. The fitting room staff was equally rude, they rushed us (a man and a sales girl) and told us to make up our mind. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't job security based on good customer service? The good - I spoke in length to Mike the manager and he was very apologetic. While speaking with him I saw the rude sales girl whispering to her associates about me. Whoa really? Mike has a lot of training to do!! Nike please pay attention to who sells your merchandise. The Nike store in Meridian is great overall but compared to other Nike stores it doesn't have items other stores have. The customer service is alright other than hearing it was bad. Other than that the Nike store in Meridian does have great prices for items as it's a Factory store. read more

Our visit was fabulous. The entire store staff were friendly, quick to ask if we needed any assistance and once we knew what we wanted, we got Sadmir to help AND we are so happy we did. Just the friendliest guy ever and he knew everything about every shoe my wife wanted to look at. The differences in shoe width, foot arches and what she was looking for by just her description of a pair of Nike shoes she wanted to replace (that were at home). We HIGHLY recommend to find Sadmir when you go in as he will make your buying experience a pleasant one. Thank you so much Sadmir !!! On our check out process, we got another gem and her name is Noelyn. She was funny yet professional and made us feel like we were one of the team....not sure how she did it, but she did :) Overall experience was TOP NOTCH and we'll definitely come back when we wear out our new shoe-wear. read more

FYI; my GPS took me around back of the store first and there is no entrance on that side. Ample free parking out front in the strip mall. Free WiFi with no password needed. Extremely friendly staff. Literally everyone wanted to help me. Good quality products. Clothing has regular price, 30% off, and clearance pricing. I found it easy to buy everything from the 30% off sales that were very abundant. I personally didn't buy anything at msrp. Shoes; enough to choose from in running which I was shopping for. Most were 30-50% off MSRP and there were definitely good deals to be had. The really discounted section for men was in the back left corner of the store. They did not have tennis shoes (at all) or many of the things I had in my Nike app cart that I wanted to try on and buy in person. For example running backpacks or specific running shoes that I found online. Also, be aware that items do go on and off sale there weekly. So something you saw on sale Thursday may or may not be on sale over the weekend. P.S. I removed one star for the lack of bathrooms. I'm such a large store with so many families with kids how do you not have a restroom? I asked a couple of workers and got answers from go to Toys R US, go to Target, to the Gap, to "I'm disappointed no public restrooms too." I eventually went to Toys R US which had fine restrooms in the front right of the store. But it's closing down very soon so that won't be an option. read more

I used to love coming to this store for all things Nike - shoes, workout clothes, every day clothes, etc... and would RARELY, if ever, leave empty handed. They used to always have great sales and great clearance racks. Over the last year the inventory has dwindled severely, especially for the mens section. They carry very few options now and the shoe section has only very basic options. Now it is RARE that I find anything and I often leave empty handed. I have stopped visiting as often unless I am there to return something from an online purchase, which is very handy, but would love to see the inventory restored to its former glory. read more

Factory and Outlet Stores seem to get a bad rap lately. Overall Factory and Outlet stores serve a purpose,which is to obtain name brand items without the mark-up from a department store. While some factory/ outlet stores don't really offer a significant savings or provide returned or mismatched items, that is not the case with Meridian's Nike Factory Store. This store is jamming all the time and there are savings to be found, but you need to know where to look. Start with the back wall of shoes. To the left is Kids and Womens, and to the right is Mens. There's sizes from petite to 17. Granted some styles may not be for everyone but you are sure to find a deal if you look. The next place is the clearance racks. In these racks, you can find severely marked down prices on everything from leggings, to tank tops and more. The closer you are to the front, the more expensive the items, so stay close to the back and sides. There are always very helpful Nike employees running around the store, don't be afraid to find one and ask, " Do you have this one in this size? " or " I'm not sure which one I like, what do you think? " or " What is the difference between cross trainer and cross trainer x ?" The line moves quickly since there are about 4 to 5 smiling cashiers ready to get you checked out. I would recommend the Nike Factory Store for shoes and apparel. A clean and organized store that honored the Nike Online prices. I wanted a pair of Air Max 90s (my first one, btw), but all they had was a navy colored flyknit. Very good experience today at Nike! Just a few days before Christmas and they were fully staffed, with extra cashier tables to help maintain the line. The employees helped answer all my questions and helped me with finding sizes and helped pick out shoes for my brother! I am a true believer that of your feet ain't happy you ain't happy. I only buy Nike and find the best prices here. I had a 2 year old pair of air max that popped and they were willing to help me out. Problem was the guy who I dealt with was rude. Acted like I was there trying to get something for nothing. Any other day I would of dragged him outside. I still have my air max buddy. Worst selection of Nike shoes I have ever seen in one of the Nike factory stores locations. It is as if all the other factory stores sent all their rejects to this store . I have stopped at this location on many occasions to see if they have updated their selections of shoes and it's all the same terrible stuff. They had a good selection of walking and running shoes with but god awful colorways. The selection didn't have a single pair of Jordan's.
