The office was nice and clean, but the wait was a little obnoxious considering it was empty. The dentist was friendly and explained everything thoroughly. I did have to call to get a treatment plan whereas I've always been given that upon leaving a dentists office so that was weird. My daughters dad called the insurance and clarified some of the charges, when I called OMS to speak to billing to question some things I was met with a very condescending attitude and told "I'd be happy with only having to pay $326", as if questioning what Cigna said we would be paying Vs what they're "estimate" given was out of line. As a customer I'm not trying to over pay, and they're billing well above their contracted amount per tooth, meaning the amount I'm paying a percentage of is inflated according to the dental insurance company. To speak to someone who is trying to just get clarification in such a condescending manner leaves a real impression on the facility as a whole. Just based on my most recent experience with their billing department on 11/13/2023 I wouldn't recommend this place. I'd find somewhere else where requesting clarification isn't such a burden on their employees.

Today was my first exposure to anything other than preventive procedures. I must say that Dr Hoff and his staff exceeded my expectations. I had a crown that I received from another dentist many years ago replaced today. I was expecting to have the crown removed, have an impression made, have a temporary crown installed and repeat the process once the permanent crown came back from the lab. They checked to see if he had a scratched cornea and didn't see any problems, so they diagnosed him with conjunctivitis. I questioned them about their diagnosis since earlier in the day he had been cutting metal before he experienced pain and blurred vision. I also mentioned that this did not present like the conjunctivitis I had seen in the past (no discharge). They assured me of the diagnosis and sent him home with antibiotic drops. His eyes continued to get worse. I called urgent care the next day. They told me to go get an over-the-counter flush and try to fully flush his eyes out (He had used water the previous day but was unsuccessful). They were surprised the ER didn't flush out his eyes. We bought the flush at Walmart and flushed out his eyes. Low and behold, the pain immediately stopped! It did take a few days for the blurriness to go away, but it did go away. Here is my problem: * The ER did not flush his eyes * They misdiagnosed him even with all the info about his job * They billed $2000 for doing nothing If possible, stay away from this hospital.
