Dentist and the hygienist are wonderful! Getting an appointment was quick and easy. Appointment wait time is minimal.

This dental practice "fits me like a glove". From the moment I entered the office the front desk…read morehappily greeted me and my daughter. I've been thinking implants would be the answer to my lost teeth but the dentist explained her plan of care for me and made sure I understood. The patient teaching was outstanding. From the Xrays to the temporary crowns, they insured I was comfortable which reduced my anxiety. The dental hygienist made sure I didn't feel pain during the deep scaling. In terms of payment plans I was approved on the spot for Care Credit. After my treatment I was given products to care for my teeth and gums, as well as written instructions to follow. I want to thank Dr Favor, the Hygienist McKenna the dental assistant Shanya who took my X-rays and put on my temporary crowns. I look forward to my dental prosthetic and ability to eat different foods. . Everybody was patient and respectful. I never felt rushed. They strive for excellence and it was met. I'd give them a 10/10 and now look forward to continuing my dental care with Aspen Dental in Melville

Overpriced and unpleasant experience…read more The office manager strongly pushed me toward a loan for dental work while I was dealing with a painful dental infection. In that situation, I agreed to the financing, but after reviewing it later, I returned and was fortunately able to get 98% of the loan refunded. The dental work ended up costing significantly less elsewhere than what I was originally quoted. I was also told that a 29.98% APR was reasonable because I could simply pay it off. I'm young, but I understand how costly that kind of interest rate can be. My first visit wasn't terrible, but it felt uncomfortable to be pressured into a financial agreement that seemed excessive. I also signed up for the Aspen Dental savings plan. A few months later, when my wisdom tooth started coming in, I became concerned and scheduled what I understood to be a free emergency screening covered by the plan. While I suspected my wisdom tooth was the cause of the problem, I wanted to make sure it wasn't something more serious, such as oral cancer or another infection that might require antibiotics. However, I was told they would not see me because I did not intend to use their services for the extraction. That made little sense to me since I was trying to use a benefit included with the plan and simply wanted a professional emergency evaluation. Instead, I was told to see my regular dentist. Overall, I felt the office was more focused on selling expensive treatment and financing than on patient care. Between the high costs, the pressure to take on expensive financing, and the refusal to provide what I understood to be a covered emergency screening, I would not recommend this corporation.

My family and I were long-time patients who came in for regular checkups and additional visits, yet multiple small cavities were completely missed. Those same cavities have now progressed into large, invasive procedures that could have been avoided with proper care and attention. What's even more frustrating is the lack of accountability. We have called repeatedly to ask how these issues were missed while we were actively being seen, and no one will return our calls or provide an explanation. This is, without question, the worst dental experience I've ever had. Between missed diagnoses, poor communication, and unprofessional management, I would strongly caution others to avoid this practice and look elsewhere for competent, reliable dental care.

Overall this office has been the average dental experience. I was in need of new retainers recently…read moreand asked for some to be made. The office took measurements and sent off for them. When the retainers (looked a lot like invisalign) came back, the top one didn't properly fit. I was told to try them out and that they can be uncomfortable initially, so I did. It was a struggle to get the top one on and even worse/more painful getting it off. The retainer ended up breaking. I took it back and was give a replacement, which also had the same issues and also broke. So again, I went back and asked to have my upper teeth reassessed and a proper one made. Instead of correcting the issue, I was given 5 of the improperly fitting ones...it would have taken less than 5 min for them to use their machine and try again, but instead they ignored my issues. Most expensive piece of plastic that doesn't work that I've ever purchased. Won't return.

Do not go here, the list is long and I am gonna make it short. The stuff is friendly as long as…read morethey need to get their money from you after that your on you own. This detist will promisse you anything to get you started, once he get you started your hooked, and if you don't like what "he consider"is the best for you he will act like a snake telling you, if you don't like your current teeth I will give your money back and you go some place else. Now this is all happening when he put your crowns in temporarily and you have one of the teeth keep falling out constantly. But prior to his work on my teeth he did not want to start on any of my teeth that got some work done by some other dentists, he said he do not want to be liable for someone else mistake. And yet he sending me in the middle of his terrible job to someone else, like someone accept me and finish his work. I ended up with one of my crowns not fitting correctly the original teeth is always visible, I have food leftover all the time in that specific area, I have toothache all the time, even thou that shouldn't be the case because I have mu rooth canal removed in this teeth. But because he did not make my crowns fitt all the way and he did not care to fix it, he said if he has to fix it he has to charge me full price again. Please save yourself misery, money, and your sanity, because he sure will try to make you look stupid if you dare to question his practice and knowledge. This doctor is old and outdated, the only thing he should be doing is denture for old people, because he lost track of time and reality that us young people actually care how our teeth look. The last thing he told me is, that I should go and see prosthodontist if I want to have nice looking teeth, after he got he's money and exhausted all of my benefits for that year.
