And with the giant pile right behind, I would have at least expected him to give me a few extra pieces. But, no. What was already loaded in the undersized jig was all I got. It works out to about $1 per piece. Not that much cheaper than what you get it for at the retail grocery store price. Unfortunately there really aren't many other choices in the area.

Prices have gone up over the past several years, but seem to be about average for the times. Spanish speaking, very little English. So be prepared to habla espanol a little. I prefer to support the local community, and buy wood here instead of at the beach or mountains.

My gardener recommended them, as he said the price per shrub was $13 a piece. I called on the phone and the person who answered said they were $14 a piece. I figured that the price could be fluid, so I went. When I was given a price, it was now $15 a piece and $60 for delivery. I still agreed and set up a delivery for next day, on the condition I get a call when they were on their way. I also asked if I could return any unused plants and the person said yes. The next day I was about to leave my house to run errands and up drives the delivery truck. I never received a call. I was lucky I hadn't left earlier. What set me off was when I tried to return one of the plants. The same guy I bought them from tried to return $13 to me. He either didn't remember me, or tried to play me, but I showed him the receipt with the $15 a plant on it. I don't appreciate paying more than I should have. I will never shop here again.

It was GREEN prior to the sudden change in health. It was healthy and growing thats why we called for the trim. We had two separate aborist look at the tree and they both stated according to the trees condition and bark there was not an infestation. The tree was cut improperly and too much was taken off, especially done in a Bakersfield month of May. After hoping our tree would make a miracle comeback we decided to have it taken down.
