Bought 1/8-cord of orangewood for $80. Overpriced compared to his competition. He acts like he doesn't speak English, but trust me, he does. Hi smeasuring jig for measuring off 1-8 cord is slightly off dimension, so he's cheating right off the bat. And with the giant pile right behind, I would have at least expected him to give me a few extra pieces. But, no. What was already loaded in the undersized jig was all I got. I have been buying firewood here for over 10 years. They have a wide variety of different types of wood with consistent quality and curing. Wood is in piles and pre stacked in 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 cord bins for easy size and recognition. Prices differ depending on the type of wood you choose. Prices have gone up over the past several years, but seem to be about average for the times. Spanish speaking, very little English. So be prepared to habla espanol a little. I prefer to support the local community, and buy wood here instead of at the beach or mountains. read more

Salvador is cheap. He is lazy. He showed up to my house with a truck full of wood and increased his price by $25 to move it from my driveway to 10 feet away from my house. He is unscrupulous and deceitful. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone. I feel very taken advantaged of and misled. read more

I have used Salvador's for many years ordering 3 cords a year with decent service and product! Until this year! I ordered wood and was quoted a very high price, apon Inquiry I was told I could basically take it or leave it! He told me Saturday morning an when Saturday morning came an went I texted him and he told me he was busy with other people's orders and he would try to fit me in by the end of day! I told him that we agreed apon a morning delivery and he said again I could take it or leave it! He obviously has to much business to care about me so he will do the same to you!! Take my advice and save yourself the frustration and use anyone else!! read more
