Worst dealership experience I've ever had. Avoid this Miami takeover crap hole dealer First, I couldn't get in for service on my lease that was not shifting into park for over three weeks. Absurd as this is a safety issue. Then I drop it off at 10:00 am, and add an oil change as it was due . They then call to say the oil change is done and "the part is on back order and they don't know when it'll be in" so why did you not let me know you had zero intention of fixing it. And yes you knew exactly what the issue was and what part was required to fix it as we spoke about it and you stated "this is a common issue". When I asked for a rental as my car is not safely drivable. Your service advisor actually stated "do you know how many rentals we would need if we gave everyone a rental, we wouldn't have any cars on the lot". Not my problem, this is why I pay to lease, so I don't have these issues. This dealership is a joke and has no customer service. Any other place on the planet this abomination of a dealer would never last. Avoid keys auto center (old Niles) at all costs. read more

It shouldn't take more than a month to make an appointment, particularly when the reason you're making an appointment is that your car isn't running. Holy crap. I knew Key West businesses were dirty. I knew some people didn't have happy experiences. What made me buy a car from my "hometown dealership"? Your guess is as good as mine. Bottom line: I literally had the owner tell me that they have no obligation to the buyer [sucker, my word] after you sign on the dotted line. Even if the car is Certified. Even if they provide you with a "warranty". They take your money, then treat you like crap if you have the audacity to even ask questions. So here I sit with a car I paid way too much for, in a town where I can't even have the car serviced because the people who would service it are dirty, greedy, and hateful as the day is long. They refused to fix my car! They refused any remedy and ghost me when I have just tried to get answers. I have contacted Cadillac but they seem uninterested too. Buy here if you want to pay at least twice as much as your luxury junker is worth, and get ready to spend a lot of time living with the "quirks" like transmissions that randomly stutter and features that fail. I can't speak for the sales department, but the service department is the reason I decided to sell my older but otherwise serviceable Cadillac CTS. They are the only repair game in town for the brands they sell, and as of fall 2022 there is currently a three month wait for service (it was similar last year). They don't bother to return phone calls, don't read the service notes you enter when you make an appointment, and "forget" to do things that were agreed to. The delayed appointment situation is bad enough for the routine stuff that can be put off, but if something catastrophic were to happen I realized I could find myself without a car for months. As my car ages the threat of that happening would only get worse. Key West is an isolated market, so think twice before moving here with any car you are expecting Niles to service. read more

The service department is just awful. Gabby is the only part of the service department of value. Don't rely on the service department unless, A) you have nothing to do but to call and sit on hold for hours or B) you are a Bubba with an 'un'. I have spent the past 4 weeks repeatedly calling, being on hold for the service department, sitting on hold for 30-60 minutes (desperate!!), and speaking to no one. Every single time I've gone in there for the past few years, the service department is completely empty. The lady who schedules is rude. I've even witnessed her answer calls and place people on hold because she's playing on her phone or filing her nails. Most recently I even called the supervisor for the service department, basically begging for an appointment... it's been 2 weeks and no one has called back. I have no idea what's going on over there but you're better off finding and using a magic wand to fix your vehicle over taking it there because you're certainly more likely to find a magic wand than have someone answer the phone. read more

If this company was on the mainland, they would have closed years ago due to mismanagement and not understanding how vehicles work. Run, go somewhere else and if you already went, pay the diagnostic fee and leave. Ask for the part they are replacing, they have to give it to you. I asked for my part and suddenly it did not need replacement. Check their work and look for damages! I did not and got a scratched, cracked, broken, messed up car back (check the interior) They had to fix a vital component and said that I also need a new sway bar, like $800. No money for that but they fixed the major issue. I go to another shop for sway bar and turns out I have a bent sway bar link $90. Run! read more

We have a Cadillac that we had leased up North before we moved down. Our car is still leased through early next year and we were having a tire issue--a slow leak. We didn't know the ill effects of fix-a-flat, either--so we went ahead and did that and then took the car into the shop. First off, I spoke with Ryan and he said they had availability that day if I needed to come in right away. That day wasn't convenient, so we scheduled an appointment for the following day. I dropped the car off to have them take a look and see if they needed a new tire, which fully expected. A couple hours later, we get a call letting us know our car is ready. They had found the issue, repaired it, and also repaired the tire pressure monitoring system that had gotten damaged from the fix-a-flat. The cost was 1/3 less than I had expected, the service was extremely quick, and Ryan was great to work with. Very much appreciate their work! read more

This is the worst dealership I have ever encountered. The service advisor, Gabby, has a terrible attitude. The first time I took a vehicle to them, was a 2019 1500 less than 4k miles. the 4x4 sticker was coming off, he acted like I was being picky and taking up his time wanting the sticker replaced. it was a $40k truck. Fast forward to September this year. I have a 2017 Camero the HUD went out, I was left hanging for a part on order for months, he never called me with any updates, I always had to call him. A month ago, the transmission was going out, 12k miles on the car. I went to the dealership and talked to Gabby(face2face) he setup an appointment for about 3+ weeks later and said he would fix the transmission and HUD. Gabby also said he would need the car a couple of days. I was ok with that. I was out of town, so my wife had to drop the car off. She rented a car on that Sunday and called the dealership on Monday to make sure she only needed it the 2 days she had it rented for. At that point Gabby informed her that he would need it over a week and that he knew nothing about the transmission. My wife got upset with him and asked to speak to the manager. He was of no use, and at some point, in the conversation he told her that they refused to work on her car. I called and reported this to Chevrolet there is an open ticket now. Bottom line, the Chevrolet help line, told me they can't make them work on the car and that I would have to take it to Miami to get it repaired. I SOLD the car this weekend, I WILL NEVER BUY A CHEVY PRODUCT AGAIN BECAUSE OF NILES CRAP SERVICE. I PURCHASED A FORD BECAUSE THE FORD DEALER HAS ALWAYS TREATED ME RIGHT. NILES CAN PISS OFF. Our car broke down right in front of this place. The serpentine belt on the engine shredded and let loose. Our car is a Honda, which is not a brand they sell here, but the service department said they could fix it. The part had to be ordered and it took a day to get it, but they got us fixed up. I had driven down to The Keys from Virginia to visit my parents. On the trip down, my check engine light came on periodically in my 2015 Cadillac SRX. I called Niles, despite poor reviews, because they are the only show in town. The service department was very busy, but they were able to work me in the day before I was scheduled to leave to return to VA. In under 90 minutes, they fixed my car and had me out the door, with all repairs covered by my warranty. I would have given them five stars if they would have been a little more warm and friendly. This will be the last GM product I will own. I have had nothing but problems with every one I have owned. This car was my husband's purchase because I swore GMs off after my oil-guzzling Equinox. My caddy was in the shop the week prior to my Florida trip with a bad power steering pump. This time it was a solenoid replacement. Don't think I will be keeping it long... read more

By the far the worst customer service I've ever received, from any company, ever. They held my truck for a week, which was reasonable, since they had to order parts from out of town. After a week of not having my truck, I come to pick it up and it still needs the oil changed and the fuel filter replaced, which they "had no idea". It's a 2018 truck, you can't turn the thing on without all the bells and whistles yelling at you. On top of that there were grease marks and dirt on everything they touched. How do you give back a vehicle that still needs basic maintenance, when it was there for maintenance to begin with!?? When I go to pick it up, they literally don't say a word to me, hang the keys out of a window and close the window when I grab the keys. Absolutely embarrassing. Next time I'm using the trusted mechanics at Keys Customs or taking it to Miami. read more

Post potential hurricane(late August/Sept) was very busy at work then went on leave. Received a call about my parts coming in for a safety recall. My appointment had been in July and i got a call September 5. Called back at my earliest convenience, 19 days later(busy recovering aircraft from other locations 14 hour days into a lot of sleeping during leave). After speaking to two people i finally got sent to Ryan, the service advisor. He told me my parts had been used on another car. No follow up or second call, niles to new customer: we have control arms here but let me call the customer one more time to verify she won't need them, otherwise we can order them for you. Nope! Instead they used the parts for my car on someone else's. Best case for when i will get another set, "since gm is having a strike", two weeks. Never mind that my initial inspection was done on July 15, parts received September 5, and no follow up call before reutilization of parts. Still searching on how to make a complaint to Chevy over their certification as well. Safety recall? Go to Miami, now I'll be driving with an outstanding recall for going on three months, potentially 4-5. Need service done, go elsewhere. read more

Great service from Randy and the fantastic lady at the desk. She is the gate keeper for an extremely busy service and sales department. Remember they are one of the few Nissan, GMC, and Cadillac dealers and service in the Keys. Got me in, serviced and satisfied. If you need some basic service, oil change, tire rotation, call a week or two in advance. Even now they are busy, but will get you in and satisfied. Randy is a great rep in the service department. Unrelated to the dealer, the 2013 to 2016 Pathfinders are full of problems. Google pathfinder visor and it will lead you to tons of complaints about this car. The worst experience i have ever had with a repair shop. I was lied to repeatedly by the service manager Gary! I had a misfire in my vehicle, took it in for diagnosis and was told I need an ignition coil on number 4 cylinder. I was quoted nearly 800 dollars for the repair. I nearly choked. After paying a $150 diag fee I picked up the vehicle and had the repair completed for under 200 else where. DID NOT FIX IT! I took the car back to Gary and asked him to re-diagnose it and demanded to not be charged. I got a phone call a few days later telling me that he had replaced the fuel injector and there was now a charge. I asked him who authorized the repair and charge when i know i was never called. Gary got very defensive and proceeded to tell me i did not know anything about how cars work. This was besides the point because the argument was over why there was a charge when i was clear there was not to be a charge. After picking up the car for the second time i found the car to run much worse than when i initially dropped it off. My next phone call to Gary expressing my frustration resulting in him telling me that i was not welcome back to the dealership. DRIVE TO MIAMI, ITS WORTH STAYING AWAY FROM NILES. read more

Brought a smart car for brakes & tune-up. Had to wait for parts to be shipped in. The problem was in delivering the car as promised. Was told it would be ready Friday... and I was to be picked up by dealership as I had no other transportation. 5:00pm Friday comes & goes without a call.
