Used to be great, ever since Franklin Castillo left the customer service and auto center is become unbearable. Brought my car in for service 2 weeks ago and already having problems. I bring it back to them and they lie to me telling me it's a battery problem, it's a brand new battery and I tested it myself before bringing it in! So than they tell me it's a starter and they want $740 to fix it, shifting gears will fix it for 1/3 of the price. It's insultingly bad service, I will never go there again! read more

Excellent customer service ! A++. Everyone was very friendly. I was nervous after making a 6-hour drive and all the lights on my dash came on. It was a sensor. They got me in and out in 4 hours. I guess Kias must be awesome cars because this dealership clearly doesn't need your business, and the website is dysfunctional. I was interested in checking out a Niro hybrid, and checked their inventory to make sure they had them in stock. Yup. I made an appointment through the website, and got an email confirmation back. When I got there the next day for my "appointment" they had never heard of me. The manager begrudgingly walked over to talk to me. He said that the Niros weren't actually on the lot, but "in transit." He took my phone number and ASSURED me I'd be called when they came in. Crickets. I bought a Toyota. read more

I m glad the Kia sells itself because no one at the Key West dealership seem to give a hoot. I went in to look in February and I have been in for appointments where the "salesman" was late. I never heard from them once. I always had to approach them. I managed to order a car which was due 1st week of April but I found out when I stopped in see what was going on I was told that it was weather delayed. I cancelled my order so after a bit of back and forth they have magi my found another. They do not text, email, or call. You have to go on branded knee. read more

my 2007 hyundai santa fe's a/c was not blowing really cold air . I am from Brooklyn New York.... I took my car there... they explained all to me, charges, possible causes ... They gave me a lift back to where i was staying, and said they would notify when they did a diagnostic , and what they found... which they did... found nothing wrong, but did a a/c service, freon drain, replacement. They had me picked up to go to dealership to get my car. Charged me a reasonable fee, and car is working beautiful.... I highly recommend Kia dealership on roosevelt ave, key West , Florida... My husband and I are regular car buyers, we don't vacation a lot so you can call vehicle trade-ins our vacation. We purchased vehicles from all three of the dealerships in Key West while we lived there and this experience was, by far, the best in KW. Jim Koleff was our sales person for all FOUR of our vehicle purchases from KW Kia. There is no "hang on, let me go ask my manager" or making you feel inferior. He talks to you about what you're looking for, takes you out into the lot - pick a car and take it for a drive. The deal was usually done in the car or in the parking lot, then you go in and do the paperwork. Their prices are good and it is NOT worth the trip to the mainland to buy from someone else, that's a long drive to get the haggle and hassle that you ALWAYS get from the Homestead/Miami dealers. Shop local - we found that all three dealers in town had comparable pricing. We liked KW Kia's experience the best, from sales to service. read more

On a trip to Key West another driver pulled up next to me and said that my left rear tail light wasn't working. The next morning I drove to the Kia dealership in Key West, walked into the service department and told them my dilemma. Damian Marti, the man at the service counter, asked for my keys and went out to my car and started it up then walked behind it and confirmed that the light was not working. Without checking with me, he drove the car under the service area overhang and shortly after returned to the service lounge to tell me they replaced a bulb. Then Franklin, another service rep, walked in, sat at the desk and told me the charge was $4.26. I asked about the labor charge and he said they were only charging for the bulb. Seriously, a new car dealer fixing a maintenance issue on the spot and not adding a labor charge? This was a first for me and a very pleasant surprise. On February 23, 2016 I took my 2011 Kia Soul in for an oil change and to check the left rear tire which had a slow leak. They found a nail in the tire up towards the sidewall that wasn't repairable, but they said I needed not one, but four new tires! At that time I had only 12,679 miles on the car, so I found it hard to believe I needed new tires all around. They showed me marks on the sidewalls, especially on the passenger side and said they were signs of age and potential failure. I should pay $723.34 to replace all four tires. I took the car to a local tire dealer who told me I did need one tire. They said the marks on the sidewalls are scuffs from rubbing against the curb when I park. This makes sense because I don't have a driveway and park on the street. The tread on the tires is barely worn and I should travel many miles before I have to replace them. The Kia service manager and the mechanics who tried to convince me to replace all my tires must be either incompetent or unscrupulous. Since the nice new sales and service building was built three years ago, the quality of service and the attitude of the new service manager, Damian, has deteriorated. This is not the first complaint I've had. I love my Kia, but I'll look elsewhere for service from now on. read more
