Alright all the barbers and stylists I have ever seen over the years (easily over 50 different people) are nice and good people. But none of them could handle my nasty cowlick. Their solution was to leave my hair long on the back of my head, which admittedly keeps it from sticking straight up off the back of my head, which is nice. But as a result, I always had a lump of hair on the back of my head, which made my head the shape of a shoebox. I told Luis at Barbary Coast Barber Shop the exact same thing I've told all of the previous 50 very nice, good people who cut my hair: "I've got a nasty cowlick that makes my hair stick up". Luis said "oh you don't want that?". I might have laughed "no." He said "ok I'll take care of it". I thought: I've heard that one before . . . but its cool, everyone has a flaw, I've got a shoebox for a head, nothing I haven't learned to live with. Not anymore. Seriously people are like "what's different?". I say I got a haircut, but there like "huuummmm, yeah but there's something else....."
