Easily a great experience. Booked a last minute haircut after seeing the positive reviews on both google and yelp. Booking was super easy and they (as a very kind courtesy!!!) don't ask for credit card while booking, but please don't abuse this. The shop is located with some parking in front of the barbershop, but also several available street parking (just don't block a driveway). I got my haircut from a nice guy named Efrain. He went over the haircut I wanted and was with my every step of the way when it came to what I wanted for my cut. People were nice but it seems like the barber you get has a big impact on your cut. I had Sal. My experience was sub par I got a hair cut and my beard lined up and I took an hour and 40 minutes...... took so long that I stopped asking my barber to fix things and just left. My fade on each side was a little uneven by about half an inch and he butchered my mustache. He didn't ask at all just took scissors to my stache and chopped off an inch on both sides. The first cut was DEVASTATING and I couldn't do anything at that point. I thought he was doing what every other barber does, which was even out the sides but nope...even worse is that it was still in even after being cut. Called in and made an appointment with Emilio for 1:pm. Arrived 5 minutes before and was asked to have a seat. Waited for 30 minutes while he took another walk in that was not an appointment. After the 30 minutes, Emilio asked me who I've been seen by last, and as this is my first time to the shop, Emilio said another barber would be with me as soon as the other barber had finished his client. Was seated with another barber that took an hour and a half to cut my hair. Nice guy but he reeked of cigarettes/stale marijuana. It was uneven and poorly faded and misshapen. I asked for a certain length on the front to be cut and was acknowledged but action wise, ignored. Emilio and the other barber kept glancing over the longer it took. Both Emilio and the other barber finished multiple people in the time it took for me to complete. When I asked the barber to correct the mistakes he said it was "to show the line for the side" and made no move to correct his issues. I had to go to another Barber shop to get the fade and cut corrected All in all a bad experience with poor customer service and a haircut not worth the 35+5$ tip. read more

She always does exactly what I want and I value that she asks what I want before going right in, even if I've been going to her for the same cut every time. I also had Emilio shave my head and line me up as well one time and he also did a great job. Yes you will have to wait, regardless if you're a walk in or an appointment, but you gotta wait for a good hair cut (my other salon makes me wait about 45 min too), so don't get all huffy and puffy when they ask you to wait. Additionally, I have gotten a haircut with one of the other barbers; it was a good haircut, but I personally prefer Emilio. Currently I style my hair with was in a comb over and have the sides tapered. Emilio was able to give me a great cut for that hair style. I've seen him cut hair in other men's hair styles, and they all looked really good as well. I recommend going in early M-Th. It can get really busy at other times, and appointments fall behind schedule. However, I do appreciate that Emilio doesn't rush a haircut even if he is behind schedule. From the outside it looks like a nondescript shop. When you step inside, you are reminded of an old fashion barber shop with three chair and newspaper/magazines everywhere. There's a TV on one wall with dome sort of sports program on. My barber really took her time to make sure that my cut was just right. She tapered and blended my hair to make it look natural.
