OMG! This company gives the worst customer service and management ever. And I am 70 years old! I ordered replacement filters for my 2 water filtration systems with 4 filters each. The customer service woman told me that I only had 3 filter systems according to past orders!!?? I was staring at the 4 filtersso I gave her the name of my systems. She corrected herself and said the 4th was a membrane that does not need to be replaced as frequently. I asked that she best send the membrane filters as my system was 5 years old. She agreed. The order arrived and there was 3 filters per system only! When I called to ask about buying the 4th filter - afterall she & I agreed that I needed to replace the membranes too That's when the world class bad service really intnesified. She insisted that I only had 3 filters in my system. I said it was okay but just let the service men, who were scheduled to come in about a week, know that I may need other filters. She got more abrupt. I could beleive that something so simple excalated to this so I asked to talk to her manager, Kevin, her manager took my call and I explained the situation. He asked me about the filters as he could not find my order in their system! I had just got delivery of $400 of filters and it's 2023, he wants me to send him a copy of the order! I gave him the order # but he insisted on a copy!!!! I thought as an owner of a company that I should inform the person in charge about this weird, sales prevention customer service style. I had to leave a message for the person in charge to call me back . The person in charge did not call me back so the next day I called again. I left a meassage again. No call back. I left it and resigned myself to waiting for the service men that was scheduled to come and service the 2 systems at $150 each. It was today. No service men arrived. Looks like the company management has decided that they do not want to improve their customer service & instead would rather lose a client. But I am a multiple location client. So they are losing 8 clients. When Nimbus was owned by Santos, I appreciated the quality of his products & services so installed the sytem in my stores to share with clients & staff & have installed systems into the homes of some of my staff. read more

What a bunch of crooks. I don't recommend using their service or dealing with them. I called them to repair & re-install a Nimbus System that came with the apartment. After discussing my options with the service agent and sending photos of the Nimbus unit, we concluded that a service technician would come and do the repair and re-installation, which would cost $95+tax for the first hour and an additional $85+tax for each additional hour. Upon arrival the technician didn't know what he is doing even though all the details are already on his laptop screen. He immediately started to sell me on replacing the filters claiming that even if he repairs the unit he cannot test it because the filters are too old and might be clogged. He didn't even know how old the current filters were and when I inquired he started to look on laptop. The 3 new filters would cost an additional $340+tax. I asked him to just repair the unit and re-install it or leave everything as is and cancel the call. He claimed there is a service charge of $95+tax if I cancelled. So I continued by asking him to repair & re-install the unit and he continued to remark that it is pointless as he cannot test the system and made further excuses. What a lazy technician. I called their office to discuss this, only to be corrected while I was talking, that the installation fee is $150+tax and claim she is just reading the price list, without regard to the entire story. I immediately cancelled the service call and paid the $95+tax. Don't waste your money or time on a company like this. read more

Been to their Oakdale Rd location twice to purchase water filter cartridge replacements for their Nimbus Sierra filtration system. This system is exclusive to them, so I'm forced to buy from Nimbus. Walked in and asked the reception desk for assistance, both times the receptionist assisted us with the water tests and filter recommendations. The techniciens seems to be reserved for home visits where a $95 dollar fee is paid for the visit and their time. Overall, they were very friendly and helpful, they definitely come across as a sales oriented company which made me apprehensive. Although, they did their best to answer any questions I had regarding my water needs, I felt they were being honest in their answers. I purchased 2 of the 3 filters as per their recommendations, glad they tested the water and only recommended what I needed. read more

We are on attempt 3 of closing our account with them. we haven't been in the place of residence that had the rental since 2019. the unit isn't even in the home anymore. We have been told 2 other times our account is closed and then they call us 3 years later asking for payment. Absolutely insane I don't know how to get rid of this account read more

Seems to be a pattern forming now each time I go I'm short changed on there water /vending machines... and each time the lady at reception says the same thing... Nimbus water system has horrible customer service and an atrocious accounting department. They will fail to charge you even though they ask for void cheques for automatic withdrawals. Then months later they will harass you, want to OVER charge you. I paid what was due, or more precisely they withdrew what they had failed to withdraw from my baking account and I am still getting calls even though I settled this with the accounting manager. I have the emails to prove it. P.S. they also over charged me after my contract renewal. read more

We placed order on 15 July 2021 for nimbus water softner model 1201003 and Iron Filter. Installation was scheduled for 5th August 2021 ie three weeks. Contract was signed with credit card details. Day before received a call from customer service Jennifer to inform cancellation of order due to no stock. Spoke to Manager Nuta and same response. They could not even advice a new date. They told me to contact sales representative Danny who placed the order who did not take calls or respond to emails. Very much frustrated with their response and not taking any kind of ownership or responsiblity. read more

We have two water filtration systems with Nimbus. The kitchen under the counter system is okay. The whole-house system has been a problem. Originally it was not installed correctly and there was black carbon soot in our water. After five visits and months later, they sent an experienced technician who fixed it. Now the system is leaking black soot again. A woman at Nimbus told me a technician would come today and change both filters but he didn't, said he didn't know how to change the whole-house filter. Obviously the "customer care representative" told me what I wanted to hear to get rid of me. The company has poor customer service. I'm looking into a different water filtration system---and company---for my house. read more

Terrible excuse for customer service and sales as a company that needs sales to survive! Home Depot seems to contract these guys for water testing and water related services. I sent away a water test and a few weeks later they called me back, outside of the hours I selected on the water test information card, and left me a message. I called back after work and was told the person with my results had left but would promptly call me back tomorrow during my available hours. No Call. A few days later I called back again, same excuse given, same promise given for a call back, and nothing. Waited a couple weeks, called again, same excuse, same promise to call me back, and nothing again. Over a month later I was in a home depot store and decided to call them on the spot. After spending 20 minutes while they tried to find me in the system, they eventually found me. I was told some number, that my water was X-hundreds of "something" higher than what it should be and that they needed to send someone to my house for a free on site evaluation. They couldn't tell me units of what these "hundreds" were. Smelled like a scam just to get a salesman to my door! Seeing as I was at home depot, I couldn't book this on the spot so they, once again, promised me a call back promptly on Monday so we could book an appointment. Well, another month has passed, and here we are again with no follow-up. I won't be pursuing them any further, as this started to smell like a sales scam by that last call with all the "mystery" information they seemed to know about my water. This is absolutely pathetic customer service to continually promise customers a call and never call them back. I could only imagine if I was an already paying customer and had to struggle through two months of lies while trying to get service! Home Depot needs to smarten up and drop these guys for a more professional water solutions company. I have already been recommending everyone I know to simply avoid Nimbus or having any water solutions done through Home Depot. read more

This was my first experience with a water company. I will preface by saying I know very little about water systems, how they work, their price range, installation, etc. The Nimbus website doesn't include any information about the cost of the systems or installation fees. So I inquired with the company to request this information so that I could identify whether any of the systems were even in our price range before proceeding. I really had no idea what cost I was looking at. After sending my initial email requesting information, I received a phone call daily (sometimes more than once a day) from their sales rep Wayne. He left voicemails on my machine literally begging me to call him back to discuss the water systems. He probably left upwards of 20 voicemails on my phone. He also sent me an email requesting I call him. I wrote him back asking to communicate via email as I generally work 9-5 and don't have much time to talk on the phone. He declined this request, stating we could only talk on the phone. I eventually called him back and requested pricing information. He refused to give me the information, stating a service rep has to come by, test our water source, and will then identify what system is best for us and give info on the cost of the system. Eventually I decided to go ahead and schedule an appointment. I clearly stated I was available BEFORE 10 on a specific day, so Wayne confirmed our appointment was 9-10. The day of the appointment 9:30 comes by with no rep at our house and no word from them. I called the company and they stated I was booked for 10am. I told them I had clearly stated I was not available after 10 and had to reschedule the appointment (after waiting around my house for an hour and cancelling other plans to accommodate them). One week later, the rescheduled date arrives. The rep named Robert was 40 minutes late, and implied it was my fault because I scheduled the appointment so early. He started off advertising their most expensive model (close to $2000). When I stated this was over-budget, he became annoyed but reluctantly told us about their less expensive models (which seemed just as good as the premium model for our needs). After briefly reviewing the alternatives, he quickly went into asking for a commitment from us and to schedule installation. We told him that we wanted to discuss it further (before spending $850 from a 15 minute presentation), and were not ready to book installation. He became more annoyed at this point, asking why we had booked an appointment if we weren't ready to install. We notified him that we had attempted to get more information from Wayne, who refused to provide it. He promptly packed up his information and left. He did not test our water or do any further assessment. So in summary, we had a sales rep harass us for 2 weeks, refuse to provide more information, incorrectly book our appointment, then send another rep to our house who was late and annoyed for making him come to our house to provide information we requested, when this was what we were told to do. If you're that desperate for business, you think you would tighten up your process a little bit. We won't be inviting them back. read more

Great place if your business is located near keele and Wilson come here all the time to refill the water for the office great way to get some time outside the office refills are about 2$ for a normal size bottle. Also they great selection of water dispensers. Nimbus has been in the neighborhood for as long as I remember since I was a kid. Recommend this place for your water solutions! read more

I bought the K5 Kinetico Drinking System and Nimbus technician did the installation. Derrick did a great job, he was fast, organize and efficient. He also explain all particulars of the system and where to call in the future for cartridges. He also talked about the benefits of the water softner and because of him we will think in that option in the nearest future. I will definetly recommend this company to friends, family and colegues. This company is just awful to deal with for Sevice. The miss appointments and can't even be bothered to call you to notify you.... so you sit waiting on your 5 hour window time slot for no reason wasting your day. When you call them they couldn't care less. Seriously find another company because this company doesn't care about there customers..... money, money, money is all that matters. Been like that since the day we signed our contract for the water system!. Horrible company to do business with. In August 2018, we had signed a contract with Nimbus to install a Kinetico water softner system. The Sales Rep Robert Azzorpardi assured us that the installers that had been assigned to us were Nimbus employees and were very experienced ie: nothing to worry about. What actually happened was a disaster. The installers were two contractors and not Nimbus employees. They were friendly. Once they had finished their work, they advised us that they could not turn the system on as that will be done by the supervisor who will come very shortly to examine the work and turn on the system.The contractors assured us that everything was fine and wanted us to sign the work order acknowledging that the work was complete. Obviously, we became suspicious and refused to sign the order. The supervisor never showed up as what the contractors had told us was a lie. Instead Nazeem the supervisor sent Daniel a Nimbus employee to come and sort out what the issue was. Daniel was awesome and he noticed right away that the filter was installed incorrectly. The pipes for the pre filter and post filter were reversed which was confirmed by another Nimbus employee( I think his name is Robert) As I understand it, the water would still flow thru and it would not be soft. After a period of 3 months or less, the salt would solidify and we would have to call Nimbus to come and fix it. Also, there had to be some electrical work that needed to be done ie: move the power outlet. We advised our Robert our Sales Rep and he advised us that Nimbus will address our concerns and "Unfortunately the ones who came to your home misrepresented their qualifications." WOW? UNQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS. We canceled our order and surprisingly the same two contractors came to remove the system. instead we went with Aquareal Water Systems who installed the Kinetico water softner system Raymond who is the owner of the company was extremely professional and knew his product details well. There was no pressure or rush to make an immediate sale. He was patient and answered all our questions. The installation went smoothly and the service was excellent. read more

This Nimbus Toronto location sells good products, but their service and parts replacement, and shipping has been extremely poor. We ordered replacement filters and parts on 3 different occasions; 1st shipment contained broken filters because they didn't pack the box correctly; 2nd shipment was completely missing one filter, 3rd shipment was again missing a filter, and all shipments had our names spelled incorrectly. We decided instead of ordering and giving them an advance payment, that we would just drive to the store and make the purchase; so we called ahead of time to make certain they had our product in stock and an employee assured us that our product was in stock, so we borrowed a car and drove all the way there, only to find that our product was not in stock. We have never shopped there again. We now order from the United States. read more
