The small looks and giggles between the staged shots. He was able to capture all of that. One of my favorite things about my photos was that he was able to capture my guests' genuine reactions during the wedding. He truly can rock the momemt. So talented! He knows how to pose people in small, medium, and large groups. He'll remind guests if they need to button any jackets to get that great shot. He knows how to incorporate the background so he isn't just taking pictures of people but really the entire environment. There is great balance in the photos. He was extremely flexible the day of. We spent the first 30 minutes just chatting so she could understand what my vision for the day was and what was the most important to capture. I wanted a few very specific things (that included leaving our venue for 45 minutes) and Ashley was not just on board but had suggestions to make them better. After this she provided clear pricing tiers and I felt like I had so much autonomy in what I was paying for. Throughout the planning process Ashley was a great resource and she pivoted many times tk make sure we had everything captured before the ceremony started. Then came the wedding weekend. And Ashley outperformed even what I was expecting. We opted to have her at our rehearsal dinner and I cannot recommend this enough. Having her getting to know the key players in our wedding day was so helpful. All of our family and friends talked about how much they loved getting to talk with her and get nice family portraits during this time. For reference, the owners do not live locally - they hire freelance photographers in your assigned area to do their photography projects. In retrospect, this was my mistake because it's best to give your business to local merchants in case there is a problem. Unfortunately, they sent a very young and inexperienced photographer to take pics of the home. All pictures were super overexposed or super underexposed. TERRIBLE quality! Pictures were completely unusable and had to resort to another company to do the job. The cost of this mistake was over $1,500 - DO NOT RECOMMEND!
