Doesn't even want to explain their mistakes, or answer my questions. They show me their appointment book which has so no other appointment following mine but claims I can't be seen for being "late" Zero care for the person in front of them. Waste of my time to drive here. They will gaslight you like no other. Edit to add: this is not false info - this has happened multiple times and I've continued to go because I liked one nail tech there. Being asked not to return as a loyal customer is another clear sign of their poor customer service. These events occurred and are true on multiple occasions.

I have been going to NINA nails for over 30 years and after 20+ years, the original owner sold and the new owner that has just recently taken over Natalie and her husband,,,,, they refurbished and decorated the whole salon. . It is beautiful and they are so accommodating and so kind to your needs. I had my nails done by Jenny. She is absolutely fabulous. I came here to get a pedicure and while I was there the owner.....well at least she said she was the owner treated another customer horribly. She raised her voice and it was totally unacceptable. She claimed to be the business owner so I am assuming she is the owner. Beware.....if an owner treats customers this way.....imagine how she treats her employees. Do not give money to this business. There are a million nail shops around and this one.....if owned by someone that rude.....please go somewhere else. read more

(Went today) Best Experince! In love with my nails! I have been looking for a place that wasn't overpriced and didn't do a half effort service, and my friend recommended this place. Nina's was beyond my expectation. Very reasonably priced and excellent service. I got a manicure with dip power acrylics with a gel pedicure and a nail design -99$. I don't know if today was my day but it was! The nail tech absolutely hooked me up! She was really nice and very patient with me. I got French tip nails and she added gems when I didn't ask but she said it would look amazing I said yes. I also added a letter and a heart and she did it with ease. I was in the area and saw this nail salon since it was close to my dad's work. Since the moment that I walked in Tiffany greeted me and was super kind and welcoming. Ken did my nails and did an amazing job! By far the best job and service I've gotten. He was really quick, but paid attention to detail, he did the shaping super good too and the French tip as well. He did them perfect! I was incredibly happy with my nails, I will be coming here for now on! 10/10 read more

I came here to get my toes done before my wedding because of all the great reviews, but I was very…read moredisappointed. I'm a nail tech myself, so this was a treat for a special occasion. I don't like to hover when someone is doing their job so I asked for the pedicure with a 10 minute massage, my nails to be cut as short as possible, and a very square edge. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of those things. I always found it unnecessary when they show you the timer for your massage time, but now I understand why it was needed because the massage was at most five minutes. My nails were left at different lengths with very uneven filing. At the end of my service I asked the tech to fix my big toe where some of the gel polish had pooled by the cuticle and she tried with a hand file and I believe the only way to fix it was with an e-file to get it level again. I normally wouldn't give a review, but there was a notable difference in how their regular customers were treated and how I was treated as a first time customer. I waited for about 15 minutes before they could see me and throughout the duration of my service was not offered water or a snack (as advertised on their Yelp), but as soon as a regular came in they were offered a soda. Overall, I was left with a very bad first impression of this salon and will not return. I will give them credit though for using all new files and callous scrubbers, I know some places try to reuse those.

I did not make an appointment; however, the man at the front desk was accommodating and was able to get us helped out. I got the #9 + gel polish pedi as well as a Gel X mani. The pedi outcome was okay, but my nails were uneven and the process was painful. The Gel X was horrible. There was excess paint run, and she was very obviously rushing through everything, with one nail being crooked. I also asked for an ombre french tip style nail but the nail tech only applied one coat of the same color. The main kicker was that I asked for a SINGLE nail art design on one finger, and my nail tech, Winnie, refused. The techs were already tired from a day's work and were not enthusiastic about doing their jobs. They were complaining in Viet when people with appointments came in 30 mins before closing. At the end, my boyfriend pointed out that these nails were not like the inspo, and I was denied service. The man at the front desk then invited us back the following day to get a free service to fix the nails. We came back the next day and it got so much worse. #1: He lied. He was going to charge us additionally for the nail art. #2: He was protecting Winnie's refusal of service by saying it was a miscommunication. I understand Vietnamese, and Winnie completely understood the service I was asking for and said NO. I doubt a grown woman at a nail salon doesn't understand when a client is asking for a design. #3: The man in the front also tried to play it off like I asked for a single coat of color when the reference photo shown was using two different colors. He said verbatim, "If you angle your fingers at the light it looks like the photo". Even if that was the case, the result fails to look like the photo. ?????????????? #4: The man KNEW he was in the wrong and offered last minute when we got up to left to do the free service. It was so unprofessional and so disheartening, especially as my first experience at a nail salon. I paid 125 in total (30 for pedi, 75 for mani). Please give your money to businesses with accountability and actually want to preform the service they provide, because this one isn't it.

I've been coming to The Nail Spot for six years, and I absolutely love my nail tech. The ladies here have always been warm, friendly, and welcoming, and they've kept me coming back year after year. Unfortunately, my visit on Wednesday, July 15, around 3:30 p.m. was very upsetting. When I walked in, there was only one other customer in the salon getting a pedicure. The owner was loudly yelling at the staff. It wasn't just raising his voice--it was shouting. It created an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone, including the other customer and, most importantly, the employees. My nail tech was visibly shaken. I quietly asked her what had happened, and she explained that he was upset because customers were texting their nail techs directly to make appointments instead of calling the salon. I've scheduled my appointments this way for the past six years because it's always been convenient and has never been an issue. He told them if they don't like his rules, they are welcome to leave! The owner eventually stormed out and sat on a chair outside the salon. A short time later, he came back in, slammed his drink on the counter, walked to the back, and began yelling at the staff again. Before I left, I told him that he shouldn't be yelling at his employees. He responded by saying he'd told them the same thing over and over. I told him that regardless of the reason, people deserve to be spoken to with kindness and respect, and that this kind of behavior should never happen in front of customers because it created a very awkward and uncomfortable environment for everyone. He apologized, but it didn't feel particularly sincere--he just seemed frustrated. I understand that he may have valid reasons for wanting customers to call the salon directly instead of texting their nail techs. That's his business decision to make. However, there is never a reason to berate employees in front of customers. I'm still giving five stars because of the wonderful women who work there and because my nail tech has consistently provided excellent service for six years. They deserve recognition. That said, if this had been my first experience at this salon, I honestly would not have returned. Be aware of this whack-o. I couldn't believe how he was talking to them. Not okay!!!!!
