All pretty easy fixes. We love this place typically, as they have top notch plants, customer service, and prices. We hope they can fix these concerns so that we can continue to shop there for years to come.

As soon as you drive into the ample parking lot, you are greeted with a working waterfall, the first of many located throughout the Garden Center. The front area of the Garden Center is filled with flowering and evergreen shrubs and smaller sized flowering trees. To the left of this area across the driveway are some of the most beautiful Japanese Red Maples and White Birch you will find in the area. They are all landscape size plants but small enough to take home with you, although delivery is available. You can also find an ample selection of white pine, blue spruce, fir, and Emerald Green Arborvitaes, perfect for screening out that neighbor or providing privacy on your deck. Across from the tree and shrub area is the entrance to the store chock full of your lawn, shrub and tree needs, be they seed, fertilizer or insect, weed and disease control as well as gardening tools. What's really nice inside are the bird feeders and houses, whimsical animal watering cans, wind chimes, sculptures and so much more including outdoor furniture. Walk to the back of the store and enter a courtyard with another waterfall and pond with Koi. The courtyard has birdbaths and fountains and is full of seasonal flowers with brick walkways leading to spacious greenhouses to the left and right filled with hanging baskets, annuals, perennials, houseplants and pottery. Outside the right facing greenhouse is an ample selection of sun and shade loving perennials including your favorites as well as choices you may have never seen before. The Gardener's Choice also carries Coast of Maine products including Lobster Compost and Earthworm castings. They also carry Scotts, Miracle Gro, and Jonathan Green. Need a shed? The Gardener's Choice is an authorized reseller for Walpole Woodworks with sheds on site to choose from. One recent addition is a full service independent florist which is located inside the Garden Center building. It is a great convenience to be able to order arrangements or take them with you on your visit. While there, be sure to sign up for their esalesletter which features money saving coupons once or twice a month. They also have a new Facebook page with monthly gardening tips which can also be found on their website at www.thegardenerschoice.net. The staff led by Bob Miller is friendly and knowledgeable which really made my visit complete. I have sent many friends there way and hope you find this review helpful. Come wander and be inspired is just what you'll do when you visit The Gardener's Choice. -Joel

I gave the address knowing it was less than four miles away from the recipient. I asked for suggestions as I wanted more of a plant than fresh flowers. The woman who answered the phone suggested a dish garden. I asked her how much and she quoted me a price. Shame on me for not asking for the "total" price as I was charged 35% more than the price given over the phone by the owner's sister. When I called back to ask about the charge on my card I spoke to the same woman and she stated that there were charges for delivery, tax and credit card processing fees. I'm not completely surprised now that it has been explained to me but it would have been better to be told the total price when I asked upon initial order. When I explained that I was surprised with the amount I was charged on my card today, she stated that "everyone" knows that there is a delivery charge and credit card processing fees with an attitude. It's not always what is said but how you say it.

And I never leave there without feeling satisfied with my readings. And the very last time I was there, she explained to me that not only was a healer, in a sense I could help other people more. She inspired me. I bought my first two sets of tarot cards. I bought a beautiful Wind-chime that I leave on my deck it hangs over my deck gardens. And I also I'm looking forward to taking some Reiki classes here . I'm sure many other classes I'll be interested into. I've also purchased several different stones that I carry with me in my pocketbook to protect me while I'm driving. I also put stones inside my zipped pillowcase to help me sleep and stay protected from darkness.. My favorite thing are my Sage and my cleansing candles alongside my protection spray that she recommended that smells wonderful and alongside my spirit guides protecting me, I do feel like the spray helps.. Every time I walk into Open Doors , I'm greeted with such welcoming individuals. You feel like you're home. They're right there to share stories or help you find what you need. I'm looking forward to going back whenever I can. Thank you so much Open Doors sincerely, Jenny Folco.
