I first went to deirfiur looking to purchase a new chandelier for my foyer. I had been to a few stores in the area but hadn't been wowed at other stores selections. We discussed the type of style that would look the best and I even showed some pictures of my home so that he could give proper insight. Keegan was very attentive and sat down with me to look through booklets of light fixtures. I didn't want to take up all of his time but was assured that he enjoyed the hunt and that we would find the best fixture for my home. Keegan had recently shopped for the store at High Point Spring Market and even showed me photos of new lights from his phone so I could have a better idea of the scale of what was in the booklets. He did not disappoint and I have received compliments from every person that has walked into my home since. Before I left he suggested I try an archivist collection minerals scented candle and diffuser. During our earlier conversation I had previously mentioned I was hosting dinner with extended family that evening. He guaranteed every guest would compliment the scents. Deirfiur Home is the newest home decor shop in South Boston, conveniently located on East Broadway. The owner Justene, and her knowledgeable staff, offer years of experience and expertise in the field of design. This shop offers a little something for everyone and just a little bit more. There are couches and chairs (that can all be customized )and coffee tables and even liquor cabinets. There is artwork, rugs and mirrors and the trendiest pillow selection available locally. Her meticulously curated decor items are unique and something that you cannot usually find anywhere else. She also carries many different product lines such as Scout, Swig and Mariposa just to name a few. Local artists paintings are featured in her shop as well as locally made jewelry. There are so many wonderful things about this boutique beginning with the story of its name. The name of the store, Deirfiur, is Gaelic for sister. The owner, Justene, has 3 sisters and owns a sister company, JS Interiors, which is an interior design firm. I just love this store. I placed a custom order for a friends wedding and was told it was on back order from the manufacturer (completely out of Deirfiur control) the staff so kindly printed me a picture of my order and put it in a frame to show the bride.
