My son and I were looking for a good Asian restaurant. This is still in post apocalyptic Covid. Give me a break. No tables at all, plexi glass separating you from the staff at window. It didn't even look like since Covid they came out to clean. Sliding window box to take food, overly loud microphone to talk to them and you could hear everything they said in kitchen. There were several people in kitchen (the whole family) so if they are in there, how would we be protected from anything they have. Anyway, I don't care. Just moved to Clarksville, my wife and I decided to try Nine Dragons hoping to find our go-to place for Chinese food. The people that waited on us were nice, the food was well above average, and I would go back again. But I was not overwhelmed enough to proclaim Nine Dragons as my go-to place quite yet. Bad bad bad, not sure what all the fuzz and good reviews are about, the reviews were what made me order from here but this place disappointed us. Terrible time on the phone while trying to place the order for delivery. Food was bland and greasy not good at all. It's classic, reliable, and tasty Chinese takeout. They deliver and get it to your house in a relatively quick amount of time. The clerk on the phone was friendly as well. As for the food, it's exactly what you expect and want from takeout. Good lo mein, steamed dumplings, and egg rolls. The main dish I tried (Mongolian chicken) was also great, nice rich flavor and crisp vegetables. This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurant because of the diverse menus BUT most importantly everything is made fresh AND you can customize. I've asked for Chinese Water chestnuts in certain things or celery and it's no problem. I've asked for little twists on things and no issue. And the delivery to the home: ALWAYS hot. And guess what they have French Fries--and yes I like them. I don't know why but they are good. And they have great Chinese fried donut balls for desert. One really can not go wrong with 9 Dragons of Clarksville. The numbers 9 is lucky/good fortune in China and in this case it certainly does bring great fortune and luck with your meal. read more

This is my favorite place to get Chinese food. You can call ahead and they'll have it ready in a matter of minutes. They give you large portions and it all tastes so good! Their lo mein is perfect and not dry like a lot of other places. My favorite is probably their egg rolls! I recommend the General Tsos and the orange chicken combos. read more

I went to the location today and the gentleman at the counter acted as if he had an attitude because I walked.i blew it off and ordered my food as usual. The lady in the back rang up my purchase and after I handed my debit card to her she placed it on the counter which I found to be very disrespectful. As I waited for my food another customer came in after me and was greeted right away. He placed his order and handed the lady his debt card to which she returned directly to his hand. read more

I have mixed feeing about this place. We just ordered delivery from here for the first time. They said 45 minutes and it was 45 minutes. Ordering was easy and the guy was very helpful. Now the food...the crab Rangoon is delicious, such good flavor and the soup as well. However, I got the large dinner sesame chicken and it's awful. It is hard and overlooked not even just Ok, really it's not good. The egg rolls, are very small, but they are buy 2 get 1 free. We will probably try them again but not the sesame chicken. read more

We ordered delivery totaling $34. We were given a 45 minute wait time. After an hour we called and lo and behold it was on the way. Then after another 30 minuted it arrived. Driver had an attitude because he didn't get a tip. The food and warm at best. We called and explained the situation and after a few attempts to calm us down, the manager finally did the right thing!--Thank You. After we warmed everything back up it was tasty. DO NOT EAT HERE. Have been loyal customers to this place for YEARS. But please do not eat at this place. Ordered lunch from there today for my two sons and husband. Got home to discover a bug in my food. I'm pregnant so discovering that really made me sick. And to make matters worse we gave them a call asking for our money back, the lady we spoke to was not cooperative at all and very rude. She refused to give our money back and wasn't understanding at all when it was their mistake. Had to throw it all away... a waste of 18$ and gas because we stay on the opposite side of town. Today was my third time to try Nine Dragons, and it didn't disappoint. It's a bit hard to find, located in a little strip mall on Wilma Rudolph, but worth the effort. First impressions are that it's new, and it's clean. The menu is very, very extensive. With everything from Chow Mein to Hunan, there is something for every taste. The orange chicken was perfectly spicy, and there was plenty of it. Even the lunch portions are substantial. I'm a pretty good sized guy and I have never been able to finish an entire meal there, but that just means leftovers for a snack later! So, bottom line: Why settle for a fast food burger and a bunch of greasy fries when, for the same price you can get something fresh and tasty -- and probably much better for you? read more

Since Jade Dragon burned down this is the first place we have found that is good in Clarksville. We like the fried rice brown and not yellow. This restaurant does the best Pork Fried Rice I have found since moving to Clarksville. Their Crab Rangoons and egg rolls are great! My daughter is a picky eater as well and she does not like alot of places Lo Mein. She loves Nine Dragon's Lo Mein. They truly do a great job. read more

Our only experience so far with Nine Dragons was through home delivery. The food arrived on time and was still hot as we unpacked it. I had the veggie combo and it was very good, the crab rangoons were on par with ones that I've had elsewhere. We also received a bonus egg roll. We ordered the donuts. I've never had chinese donuts before so my opinion here is not from comparison. To me they tasted like they were obviously fried in the same oil as all of the other food, so like a dough that tastes like fried chinese food that been rolled in some sugar. They we soft and hot, just not my thing. 3 out of 4 fortune cookies were fresh. Overall a pleasant experience (the donuts and fortune cookies were not mine). I'll order again due to great delivery, tasty entree and rangoons. The containers which are microwavable have snap on lids making it convenient as tomorrow's work lunch. read more
