Our family first met Dr. T and staff in January 2019 when I needed a pediatrician for my 3 year old…read morethen. We just moved back in the area and needed a new dr as our old pediatrician at that time was located in Woodland Hills. Just wanted to say how much Dr. T and her staff has been like a family to us. My kids have never received care like the type of care we get at this clinic. For instance, there isn't ever a time where I couldn't reach out to Dr. T if I felt something was urgent. She always answers every concern, every question via text if I deem something important and needs her guidance or advice and yes, even when she's on vacation, which I appreciate so much more than she could ever know. The staff really makes us feel cared for and I feel like they are my "Titas". Tita Vangie and Tita J.Lo as I refer to them, who have answered my dozen calls for the past 2 weeks when my 2 year old came down with RSV and needed to be seen at the ER- from seeing us even before clinic hours to make sure we get seen on short notice, to setting up lab work at the hospital. They go beyond any expectations. We're so lucky and grateful for everyone at this clinic. To Dr. T and Titas, thank you for all the guidance and care this past couple of weeks. We are still not out of the woods with RSV, but I have peace of mind knowing they are just a call away if needed.

Dr. Muñoz is very trustworthy and I can't even begin to explain enough reasons why. 2 years ago,…read morewhen my son was a newborn, Dr. Muñoz came to visit at PIH hospital where she immediately caught red flags in my newborn son, that the nurses and staff overlooked. Because of Dr. Muñoz my son was evaluated immediately into the NICU where he spent 4 days into proper care and healing. In addition, I have 2 toddlers now who are non-verbal on the spectrum, which can be very difficult to understand when they might be bothered by any sickness as they cannot communicate. However, Dr. Muñoz has always been able to identify and clearly name any sickness they have gone through and has always been on point. With her judgement, they've always received speedy recovery and care. Ever since her discernment with my newborn son 2 years ago, she has completely gained my trust! Not to mention how incredibly kind and compassionate she was towards me as a mama in post-partum, always asking with genuine care how I was doing. I love this office and their friendly staff so much! I highly recommend this practice to any mamas out there whom are looking for a trustworthy office!

We visited today to have our baby's ears pierced. The office was clean and the service was okay,…read morebut unfortunately, there were a few things about the experience that left me disappointed. 1. I wish we had been given better guidance on the piercing procedure. Since babies cannot have their ears numbed like adults, I would have appreciated being advised beforehand about the different piercing methods and which option may be more comfortable for a baby. From what I later learned, instrument piercing can be a less painful option, and I wish someone had explained this to us before the procedure so we could make a more informed decision for our baby. 2. The person performing the procedure seemed a little impatient with my fussy baby. I completely understand that babies cry and can be difficult to keep still, but I expected a little more patience and reassurance, especially for a service specifically offered for babies and toddlers. I was also asked if my baby had a pacifier, and when I explained that she doesn't like them, I felt a little judged. Nothing inappropriate was said, but as a parent, you sometimes just get that feeling. 3. The pricing and website description were confusing. The website originally stated that the $119 service included the flat-back earrings, which led me to believe the complete earrings were included. When we arrived, we were told the jewelry was separate. After I showed the nurse the wording on the website, I was told that the $119 only included the titanium flat-back post and that the front piece was an additional $70. Since we had already paid the deposit and were there for the appointment, we decided to pay the additional amount. I completely understand that jewelry can have an additional cost, but I believe the pricing should have been clearly explained from the beginning. I also noticed that the website description was later edited/changed after I brought up the issue, which was disappointing. 4. I also requested a receipt and was told it would be emailed to me, but I still have not received it. Overall, the office is clean and the staff was okay, but considering the price we paid, I expected a higher level of care, communication, and attention to the baby's comfort. I'm sharing this respectfully because I think the experience could be improved. Clear pricing, better guidance for parents, and a little more patience with fussy babies would make a big difference.

I haven't had any issues until today when I visited to with appointment and online already checked in. The lady at the front desk does not have ability to listen to customers... she asked me to pay the copay amount of $20 and i told her I only can pay with Apple pay. She replied the clinic does not accept apple pay, and she didnt give me no other options. She asked me to pay with physical card and I told her that i dont carry physical card, so if they can email/text me the link to pay, i told her i will go home and pay with with my card. She seemed very shocked and seemed surprised that i cant pay the copay...Im not sure why she couldnt understand but she kept asking me that she sent the link to pay and asked me to pay. I explained again and again for 3 times that i cant pay right now but she was persistent to get the copay paid. I gave her a complaint and as I was telling her that i was upset, she got up and left the desk. At the end i was upset that she was an able, mentally stable adult but does not know how to provide basic customer service skills to customers. Doctor here is nice but unfortunately i will be switching pediatrician due to incompetent receptionist.... Just watch out for the lady... she seemed clueless working here and what het job is supposed to be.

Well, in the beginning, I was already unsure when she had me place my son on the bed and she lifted his shirt and placed the cold stethoscope on to his almost 2 month old chest. Then, she tossed him and flipped him like a fish and that made him cry. I thought, in the beginning, that i'm just being sensitive and paranoid. But this was consistent every time we went to visit her for his shots and check ups. He got sick with stuffy nose and a really bad cough for over three months and all she suggested was albuterol. Then by the third time I brought him in, after 2 months, she prescribed steroids to my 5 month old baby! He was barely turning 5 months and she wants me to give him STEROIDS?!?!? I was extremely hesitant, but the day I finally gave in to giving him steroids, I brought him to URGENT CARE somewhere else. After three hours waiting at URGENT CARE, the pediatrician there told me that he is just congested and doesn't need steroids at all. After that, I decided that Dr. Gu was NOT the one for my baby and I. She, repeatedly, told me not to worry and that "It may get worse, but it may get better" WTF...what does that mean? All in all, I brought my son to a different pediatrician a week before his 6 month shots and the doctor checked everything and even told me what my previous pediatrician should have already told me....EVERYTHING! We found out that baby has allergies and that's why he was the way he was with the stuffy nose and the congestion. I'm so relieved now, now that she isn't our pediatrician. Dr. Gu isn't for us, but I guess she can be the one for other people.
