She stays abreast the most recent research and even personally reached out to us after hours once when she had time sensitive information for us regarding the care of our children. She goes above and beyond for her patients and has given incredible recommendations that have helped our kids thrive. She listens to our concerns and answers all our questions with a wonderful depth of experience and knowledge. She is busy but always makes you feel comfortable and doesn't make you feel rushed or unimportant. Her office staff too have treated us with kindness and a lot of care. They have done a lot for us. They are always easily reached, responsive, and helpful. They always pass on my messages to the right person and they quickly fill prescriptions and worked hard on referrals, paperwork, and phone calls to insurance for us. Yvonne also personally followed up on an important item that was time sensitive for us and was extremely compassionate, reassuring, and helpful during that process. We highly recommend Heart to Heart Pediatrics to anyone looking for a fantastic doctor and staff! So thankful for them!

We just moved back in the area and needed a new dr as our old pediatrician at that time was located in Woodland Hills. Just wanted to say how much Dr. T and her staff has been like a family to us. My kids have never received care like the type of care we get at this clinic. For instance, there isn't ever a time where I couldn't reach out to Dr. T if I felt something was urgent. She always answers every concern, every question via text if I deem something important and needs her guidance or advice and yes, even when she's on vacation, which I appreciate so much more than she could ever know. The staff really makes us feel cared for and I feel like they are my "Titas". Tita Vangie and Tita J.Lo as I refer to them, who have answered my dozen calls for the past 2 weeks when my 2 year old came down with RSV and needed to be seen at the ER- from seeing us even before clinic hours to make sure we get seen on short notice, to setting up lab work at the hospital. They go beyond any expectations. We're so lucky and grateful for everyone at this clinic. To Dr. T and Titas, thank you for all the guidance and care this past couple of weeks. We are still not out of the woods with RSV, but I have peace of mind knowing they are just a call away if needed.

Which are very more aware and squirmy. The process took about 3ish hours because we wanted to get the numbing cream which they take their time in making sure she is numb. Once it's set in the process of actually piercing her ears was so quick! The Dr. is very sweet and took her time. I never once felt rushed out of here. One of her ears got a little reaction to the cream ,so she felt it a bit but the other one she didn't even notice it being done. In my opinion it was great doing it at a later age since alot of babies were crying so much and it hurt my heart!! So highly recommend waiting to be able to use the numbing cream. She cried a bit and was over it. I also want to add I know there is a preference on piercing gun and just a needle because they say the healing process is different but my daughter has already a few weeks healing and she has not had any problems from the piercing gun.

I don't trust this doctors practice. My children used to come here and at one of my son's scheduled…read morevisits, with no prior notice, I was told I had an outstanding bill of close to $300. I asked what the bill was from, the receptionist stated it was a bill from back in May and it was now October. I asked if I could call my child's insurance and get it figured out and she stated that if that was the case, my child could not be seen that day. I could either pay the bill that they "discounted" as a favor to me or call insurance but If I called the insurance, there was nothing they could do about it at the office anyway. So the only option was to pay the bill and I could either pay it that day at her discounted price or if I came back to pay it another day, it would be the full price. I decided to call the insurance anyway as this had never happened before and I had received no letters from our insurance nor from the doctor about this "debt". I called the insurance and spent hours on the phone because they could not see a bill on their end. Eventually I was transferred to someone who said they just needed the doctor to fill out a form they filled out incorrectly and the bill would be covered. I called the doctors office to let them know and they said they would not he filling out the form because they had been trying to send it in for months and the insurance kept denying it. They also said, if I chose not to pay the bill, they would send it to collections. Mind you, not once had they mentioned this bill to me throughout the several months that passed so I could have tried to figure out what was going on through the insurances end. I was there often as my son had colic issues. They tell me there's nothing else they can do for me and they are terminating our services with them and I could talk to someone named Theresa via text that does billing. I start texting Theresa about what's happening and she mentions ANOTHER debt that I had no idea about. I ask her what that one was for and she said it was for a telehealth visit. The record they sent me of this telehealth wasn't even to me but to a doctor at CHOC. This conversation between the 2 doctors happened in February but I wasn't told about this "outstanding bill" until October. Then she says that Ana decided to waive that bill as a one time courtesy. She stopped responding to me also. Very shady business here. Also wanted to mention that this office did a few of my son's vaccinations but I never brought the yellow card as I was going through a lot and kept forgetting. I went today to get the card stamped and apparently, since he's no longer a patient there, she cannot stamp his card. I know it was my mistake for not bringing it but my mind was elsewhere when my son was a newborn. The card requires a stamp and the date it was given. Her receptionist said the new doctor could request a release of record form and they can stamp which is a lie. They cannot stamp the card as the vaccinations were given at this office, not theirs! I've never had this issue before, only with this doctor! I even went to a doctor right after I left here that had also given him vaccinations but he's no longer a patient there and they did it with no hesitation. Probably wants to charge me for that too! UPDATE to her response since I can't message her personally. I saw Ezahdy walk into your office and then come back out and said that you told her you could not stamp it as he is not a patient of yours. You can check the cameras. So Ezhady lied about you being in office and denying stamping my son's vaccination card? I do remember, very clearly, as this was a very stressful time for me, you did not reach out to me back in 2023 when this happened. I checked my messages on my portal and there was never a message from you regarding this billing issue. I only spoke to Ezhady, Yesenia and Theresa. I have no issue with what they are billing, my issue is them not mentioning any bills owed until there's nothing that can be done about it. They gave me absolutely no options. They said since so much time had passed I either pay the bill or it get sent to collections. So this is confirming this office is very shady.

Well, in the beginning, I was already unsure when she had me place my son on the bed and she lifted his shirt and placed the cold stethoscope on to his almost 2 month old chest. Then, she tossed him and flipped him like a fish and that made him cry. I thought, in the beginning, that i'm just being sensitive and paranoid. But this was consistent every time we went to visit her for his shots and check ups. He got sick with stuffy nose and a really bad cough for over three months and all she suggested was albuterol. Then by the third time I brought him in, after 2 months, she prescribed steroids to my 5 month old baby! He was barely turning 5 months and she wants me to give him STEROIDS?!?!? I was extremely hesitant, but the day I finally gave in to giving him steroids, I brought him to URGENT CARE somewhere else. After three hours waiting at URGENT CARE, the pediatrician there told me that he is just congested and doesn't need steroids at all. After that, I decided that Dr. Gu was NOT the one for my baby and I. She, repeatedly, told me not to worry and that "It may get worse, but it may get better" WTF...what does that mean? All in all, I brought my son to a different pediatrician a week before his 6 month shots and the doctor checked everything and even told me what my previous pediatrician should have already told me....EVERYTHING! We found out that baby has allergies and that's why he was the way he was with the stuffy nose and the congestion. I'm so relieved now, now that she isn't our pediatrician. Dr. Gu isn't for us, but I guess she can be the one for other people.
