He worked on it for several weeks & it kept great time for several months then quit working, then would work for a few hours & quit. I took it back to McGuire's, Jason did some diagnostics & yes, the platform needs to be rebuilt. I frequently go to Houston so, he called his contact in Houston that he knows rebuilds platforms to see what the time frame was & then gave me their card. I will take it with me the next time I go down that way. I also have an antique bandstand clock that wasn't working properly, I took it in, they made some adjustments & I picked it up today.
