    Hibachi Steak and Chicken
    Mark D.

As a lover of hibachi, i'm always on the quest to find new places to enjoy. I feel like the Triad area has no shortage of options, but it's always good to find a new and good place to add to the portfolio. I got on the great Yelp and found Niobe so we decided to get it for dinner. We called in our order, but there are plenty of booths to sit at if you would like to dine in for lunch or dinner. I got the hibachi steak and chicken. Simply delicious. The yum yum sauce is a must have. The portions are huge, which is obviously awesome. It also comes with a soup as well. Prices are very good so you'll get bang for your buck on top of good quality. The portfolio has expanded to add Niobe to it. I went back two days after our first visit. Was impressed and will continue to come back.

We took my sister in law to this Japanese restaurant in Graham. The ambiance was casual and comfortable. The service line was very friendly and fast. The hibachi meals were very good especially the shrimp. My sister in law was disappointed with the wasabi for her sushi because it was too salty and not wasabi enough! My zucchini was good but the broccoli not so much. What really makes the hibachi meals standout is the sauces especially the white sauce. A good hibachi-sushi restaurant in Graham.

Thai peanut dressing on lettuce ( starter salad that comes with meal)

We entered the establishment and ordered our food at the counter. We sat down with our soup and salads in styrofoam containers and plastic disposable silverware. The soup was essentially a broth with some fried onions on top that were dissolved into like a mushy like consistency the salad was just lettuce with a little bit of carrot. I did have to pick out several pieces of orange tinted lettuce. The dressing was a Thai peanut style that was rather thick in consistency and not very fluid. Once we finished that our main entrées of chicken hibachi came out on real plates not styrofoam. The rice on the hibachi plate was bland, but the chicken was cooked perfect the veggies a little over cooked but still tasted great. The white sauce, elevated the rice and made it taste better. You also have the option of a ginger sauce, and a Sriracha sauce, plus soy sauce on the table. I recommend mixing some Sriracha into the white sauce for a more milder spice flavor. Overall, I would rate the food good and we had a very enjoyable meal. The main meal portions were hearty and filling.

Best hibachi I've ever had. Easy to order, friendly people. Loved by the locals. TVs, tables, and booths; everything you could want at a restaurant. Simple and straight to the point.

Styrofoam plates. For dine in & the total bill was around $40. Pretty expensive dinner to be served in this manner. This place has gone extremely down hill the past few years.

    Hibachi dinner!

Love it! I am from Raleigh & LOVE kanki. It's Raleigh's hibachi steakhouse & it's very very good so any place that claimed to do hibachi was always such a let down to me when I tried it because it could just never stand up to kanki Then I decided to try this place regardless of the bad reviews & was so surprised! The steak is real steak.. Not that nasty stuff they would serve in other places.. The vegetables are great & so is the fried rice! Also their soup is wonderful as well! I love it & have brought a few friends in who love it as well! One friend got teriyaki chicken & white rice though & hated it.. I didn't try it so I can't say if it was bad or not, but i would maybe just stick to the hibachi! It's really good! & about the complaints about the interior.. I mean...you're getting 10 dollar hibachi, it is drab & plain but to me, that's to be expected at an express hibachi place! I wouldn't let it deter you from going! It's great!

Always good food and friendly service. Call ahead for takeout. There is often a bit of a wait, as they get very busy at times.

My husband and I ordered in the restaurant, but they do have a digital drive thru for online pick up orders. We went a little after noon and the line was somewhat long, but the staff worked quickly to make their way through everyone's orders. I created my own Grains Bowl with half saffron basmati rice, half supergreens, traditional hummus, half grilled steak, half roasted vegetables, fiery broccoli, fire roasted corn, avocado, tomato & cucumber, Persian cucumber, shredded romaine, crumbled feta, and Greek vinaigrette (on the side). I also got a side of the hot harissa pita chips. It took maybe 15 minutes from when we entered Cava to when we sat down with our food. The food was fresh and blended well together. It was my first time trying the steak and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the pita chips too. I was a little hesitant that they would be too spicy, but they weren't at all. They were crunchy, warm, and with a hint of the harissa flavor - which was perfect to me. Pita chips feel like a must now with all Cava entrees. Restaurant was clean, bright, and buzzing with activity. The staff were friendly, but very concentrated on making sure everything was correct. The line to order was to the door when we ended up leaving. Parking is not an issue here because it's in a big shopping center. Cava is my go to place in Greensboro, so I'm excited it's closer to home now. Everyone should go show Cava some support and expect to be patient since the employees are brand new.

On my last visit to PRESS, I had the seasonal Blue Ridge crepe ($16.50), which was excellent -- a savory, blue-tinged shell filled with a great combination of sweet maple syrup-glazed ham and tangy granny smith apples and topped by a scrambled "hurricane-style" egg and a spicy maple mustard drizzle. We started with the Pimento Cheese Hushpuppies, which I had high hopes for. They were a bit over‑fried and dry, with more breading than cheesy center, and the jalapeño bacon jam was watery and didn't quite complement the hushpuppies. That said, the concept is fun, and with a thicker, chunkier jam, I think they'd really shine. The Fried Oysters, however, were a completely different story. Perfectly breaded, not overly heavy, and full of flavor. My husband--who's keto and peeled the breading off--still commented on how good the oysters themselves were. If anything, we just wished the portion was bigger. The star of the starters for me was the She Crab Soup. Creamy, rich, and loaded with crab. It was one of those dishes you keep going back to between bites of everything else. And here's my pro tip: dip the hushpuppies into the soup. It transformed them from dry to delicious, and I even suggested to our server that the kitchen consider offering them together. For my entrée, I had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos with a side of pasta salad. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the Thai‑inspired sauce had a sweet kick that I honestly wish there had been more of. The pasta salad was classic but surprisingly good--fresh, balanced, and better than most versions I've had lately. My husband ordered the Salmon & Shrimp Scampi, swapping the pasta for extra spinach to stay keto. Both proteins were cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and plated generously. Overall, the meal had a few highs and a couple of misses, but the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the menu make this a place I'd absolutely visit again. With a little fine‑tuning on a few items, 2 Twelve has the potential to be truly exceptional.

My meal, the Charleston Crab Cakes, was really good too (I asked that they put the creamed corn on the side -- the crab cakes will come on top of the creamed corn if you don't make a special request). But when (not if) we return, I will be ordering the seafood pasta for sure because it was that good! A friend recommended the pork chops and the burgers. The ambience is quaint and the indoor dining space is very small and cozy. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived. I recommend making a reservation if you don't want to dine outdoors. It was January so too cold for us to eat outdoors because there is no heating and the overhead fans were on! Also, please bring a little patience for parking because this restaurant is in an area of downtown with limited parking.
