This is a nice and welcoming place to go. My friend and I went here for lunch and were promptly greeted on arrival. The owners were incredibly jovial and the atmosphere is warm and bright. We each had different fried fish lunches and also got some cake to go. The cake was super tasty. The food I believe is drawn from local sources and so that's great. One drawback to this place is location. It's pretty far outside of town and not conveniently located next to other businesses. However, it was worth the drive.

Fried shrimp with fries, hushpuppies, and slaw.

My daughter and I wanted to go somewhere new for lunch yesterday, and going to this little out of the way place fit the bill. The food was not bad by any means, but what we tried was just very average. I wish I could say that it is worth driving so far out of the way, but that's just not the case. However, if you're already in the area or live close by then it would be worth stopping by. Again let me say that nothing about our experience was bad.

Tons of great drinks from the usual sodas in cans and bottles to some really cool imported sodas, beer and ciders. They also have a fountain with Puck's sodas which I tried and my husband chose a local beer from one of the coolers. The service was very friendly. Orders are taken at the counter and they brought our food to our table. We ordered off the specials menu so no guarantee the items we got will be available when you go. Everything sounded delicious and given this place has a reputation for being busy I would feel confident ordering anything knowing it is going to be great. I really enjoyed the whole vibe here. I will have to make it a point to come back again. It's about a 45 min drive from Winston but the drive is so beautiful it's totally worth it.

It's our go-to when we're usually too exhausted to make dinner. The menu is huge and somehow everything I've tried is always SO GOOD. Like there are no weak spots?! Some solid favs my family has loved: linguine alfredo, bratwurst, fish and chips, brisket, chicken avocado salad (this might be my fav and it's HUGE), ANY sandwich (favs are the Italian and the duck bacon turkey club), and the pizza! Kids pasta is a fav of one of my kids and a super good deal. The cakes are also sooooo good (but year a little pricey at $8). Great beer selection, we usually just grab something in stock to take home. The kitchen is closed from 4-5PM (I'm usually calling in at 5:01 haha). The staff is so nice! I will say, once in a while, their estimated times can be way off. I'm okay with that though, the food is worth it. One other thing to be mindful of: On big event days (like when there is a show at the Haw River Ballroom), they run a limited menu. They also have had limited menu days in the past when they do seafood events, but I haven't run into that problem in a while. Just maybe check their Instagram.

From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Her warm personality and genuine hospitality made the experience feel special. We enjoyed the Frosé and the Medallion 33, which is like a French 75 but even better! Both cocktails were delicious and expertly prepared. Linda's recommendations, attention to detail, and engaging conversation made our visit even more enjoyable. Great food and drinks are important, but outstanding service is what keeps people coming back. Linda was attentive, personable, and created a fun, welcoming atmosphere. If you're visiting Doc B's, do yourself a favor and grab a seat at Linda's bar. We'll definitely be back!

We were greeted by two young women with smiles on their faces. :) We were seated promptly in a booth, these booths are spacious with great views. Reid was our waiter, he was phenomenal. Reid answered all our questions and he was very knowledge about the menu. Reid gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, when we were ready to order he appeared took our food orders. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Fries. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. The food was delicious!!! For dessert we got Key Lime Pie. This may be the best Key Lime Pie we've ever had, So GOOD! We will definitely be visiting Doc B's again in the near future. I HIGHLY Recommend Doc B's!!! Thanks again Reid.

We tried 8 different ones, and all were excellent! The pesto and salami one was my favorite. The inside of the restaurant is pretty dimly lit, but we didn't mind and it helped create a cozy atmosphere. The outdoor patio looked nice and could be a good option for daytime. I have been to Postino many times before, but this was my first time at the Raleigh location. While it's been 4 years since I've had Postino and the menu has changed a little, the bruschetta board is still a permanent fixture. We ordered a bruschetta board for an appetizer and I ordered the half panini & half salad for my entree. The bruschetta board is a must order because you can get 4 different kinds. The top tier choice is the salami pesto one. It's my absolute favorite. For my panini, I got the caprese one on ciabatta bread and the half of the mixed greens salad. The salad was delicious. This was a ton of food and felt very satisfying. I always love the vibe of Postino's, but this location was way too dark with only a small candle at the table. Service started off good and we were able to order our food without a problem. However, our server was done with his shift right after we ordered so we got a new server. Our new server had no idea we already ordered and was a little behind coming to our table for water refills. Despite that, we were in and out of the restaurant within 45 minutes. Postino is surrounded by other shops and restaurants, so they had a ton of parking available outside the restaurant. Highly recommend this place if you want good food!
