Which is fine but I explained to them it didn't have to be perfect. I just wanted it repaired to be worn again. They said their would have to hand sew it. Which was fine with me. It was pricier than expected however we live in an era where everything had gone up. I gave them 4 stars because of their confidence level when I first messaged them. Other than those issues I'm satisfied with the results to repair my military jacket.

We took them here (I've been coming since high school - I live across the street from her pastor) and she said $80. I asked if that was the best she came down to $75. We paid cash after the pointed to her sign and said all orders under $100 must prepay and she gave me a receipt and said to come today for pick up. When I came today to pick up she said I had not paid. She said she would check the cameras. She said she couldn't pull it up and asked for my home address....and said she would call me if she found that I had paid and I could come back for them. I called the police because I gave her the receipt she gave us after paying. After a long exchange she ended up giving me my pants because I do not think her cameras work and she KNEW SHE WAS WRONG. This tells me that she does not follow her polices for ALL customers. She will never have to worry about me using her over priced service again after essential calling me a thief. It must be time for her to retire.

Just today I went in to have a pair of shorts altered for a trip coming up this weekend. Dana assured me she could do it in 4 days and it only cost $10 to take the jean shorts in. The only reason I didn't give the shop 5 stars is because last summer I lived about 20 miles away from the shop and still returned to have a comforter sewed in a few spots. I like being a loyal customer to small businesses but I was really disappointed when I showed up a week later (the date they have me) and they hadn't started on the comforter. I think they might have forgotten about it by their reaction when I showed up. There wasn't any monetary adjustment for my time and I think just as good customer service it would have been a nice touch.

Twice I have picked up clothes and get home and the work has not been done. I took the first item back that was picked up in November but not checked until last week, and they would not honor it because I didn't have the receipt 6 months later. Today I go to pick up the dress that I'm paying to have hemed the second time along with a jacket they were to switch the snaps out -and I gave them two packs of new snaps. The dress was not ready and she said "come back in 45 minutes. I go back, pay for dress and jacket, checked dress but did not check jacket while in the store. Get home and see that jacket is not done! Not only that but the owner is not nice anymore. If you go, check your clothes before you leave the shop!!!
