Real friendly guy. They were able to work with me regarding payment. I left my car with them for like two weeks and when I got her back she was in better shape then ever before. The front bumper on my car was also all duct taped up from hitting the curb one too many times. They fixed that up for me no extra charge. I had my vehicle towed to Signature against my better judgment as it's AAA recommended. It turns out I just didn't put the new battery in correctly but it took 3days of me following up and $132 to get Mt vehicle back. They changed me the standard inspection fee of $115 which I knew and agreed to but what sticks in my crawl is the $9.20 for parts which they said was for cleaning and paperwork. Really? On top of their dismissive attitude, I have more than enough reason to never go back. read more

On the way back to home to Maryland from a family trip at Atlantic City, my car broke down on the AC Expressway. My car was on a flatbed and I was desperate as I knew no one in this town. After riding around looking for an open auto repair shop we were directed to Mario's. I explained to him what happened and told me he could look at my car on Monday. So my family and I were stranded in Hammonton NJ, 200 miles from home!! Mario and his wife helped us get to Philadelphia to get a rental to go back to Maryland. I had to leave my car in NJ. I would normally worry about leaving my car so far from home, however, this family saw my distress and made my family and I feel at ease. Called to see how much it will cost to get my air-conditioner looked at, the representative told me it will be over $100 he asked me one that I want to bring it in, I mentioned to him that was a little expensive for me. And he said a sarcastic remark we don't work for free and hung up the phone. My remark will be to you is, No one asked you to work for free I was willing to pay, however it's my choice is if I want to go to you or not because you feel is though that you want to charge outrageous price. Found this place because I needed a mechanic nearby and the reviews for Signature were what I was looking for. Had them do my oil change on my Infiniti M37 prior to warranty expiration. They politely informed me of a leak in my coolant and a slow leak on a gasket. I took it to Infiniti and had both issues repaired under warranty. Those repairs would have cost me over $1,000 if I didn't discover them when I did. My warranty expired March 19 and Signature found them in early February. Just had my second car there for oil change and tire rotation and they again notified me of damage to one of my tires. No pressure to repair immediately. I decided to go here after reading all of the great reviews. My truck has been having some issues and I wanted a legit mechanic to check it out. I talked to victor and after looking my truck over basically told me what was wrong and what needed to be done. He gave me a price on the spot and said to come back whenever. A week or so later I did and after about a day my truck was some. He fixed the issue and even a few other things that needed to be done. This did raise the price a bit but they were necessary fixes so it was no issue. It's been a bit over a week now and the problem seems to be fixed and I'm very happy. It's no secret that it's hard to find an honest, competent repair shop. Most of the time when I'm taking a car in to a random nearby repair shop, I'm already trying to figure out how much equity I have in my house in order to pay the outrageous repair bill to replace a radiator cap. And then comes Signature Automotive to the rescue. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and they don't bog you down with unnecessary repairs. My first visit, I got my AC fixed for a fraction of the cost I was quoted at another shop. After the repair, they made several courtesy calls just to see how my car was doing. The most recent trip was to get my MVC inspection and an oil change. It was done quickly, and without pushing wiper blades, brake pads, filters, engine flush, radiator flush or steering wheel replacements like those quickie lubie places. I will continue taking my cars here even after I move out of the area, as it is worth the drive to save time and money. What are the odds of getting so many honest mechanics in one place?? Don't trust the reviews! We brought our car to Victor because this shop had such great reviews. Had we known he was going to charge almost $300 to give the car a quick look over, and adjust a clamp, we would have gone elsewhere. The worst part is that after asking repeatedly if he looked at the air conditioning condenser (one of two issues presented when we called him initially) he continued to reply that he hadn't but was "going right now to look." As we paid our very high bill, we asked again what the end result with the condenser was. Victor, with an attitude, asked if he charged us for that and grumbled that he only had so much time with the car. This didn't make any sense considering we hadn't rushed him at all. We were ok leaving the car there longer if needed. At 445 he called us to say we could come pick it up, that he was finished with it. At 459 pm he called us back saying if we wanted, we could pay over the phone. He was clearly in a rush to leave for the day and I guess we weren't coming fast enough. My sister began having a problem with her 2012 Honda sedan. Engine running rough at startup. Had it to a chain repair place who did nothing except collect money with no results. Been taking our two vehicles to Signature since 2013 with very good results. My sister then took the Honda to signature and the problem was corrected within three days and hasn't recurred. Seriously stay away. This place has good Yelp reviews, so we felt confident going here, and now I am wondering how many of the reviews were genuine... TRUCK PROBLEMS AFTER VISIT 1#) Few weeks later- Radiator blows with a giant crack. My wife was told by Signature Automotive, that a radiator flush was reccomended- fair enough- this should have been a simple save procedure although there were no problems at all. She agreed even though she just needed a break job- anyhow she pulled into the driveway yesterday with a steaming severely cracked radiator, which we now have to take time off of work to get fixed. 2#) One of the lug nuts broke off, and at first the front desk mechanic had admitted that he forgot to tell us when we picked up truck, that there was a problem and agreed to fix it. However, after we handed over her keys, and got in my truck to drive away the front desk mechanic came out, and knocked on the driver side window, and wanted to renegotiate fixing the lug nut. I rolled down the window, and he said "I'll make you a deal- we will cover parts (around $5), if you pay for labor." I protested as just minutes before he had given an aplogy and stated that he remembered a problem, that they had forgot to mention, and have offered to fix it for free. The desk mechanic; however was now instant to the point of whiney, that we pay for labor, and that labor be full price- he was instant to the point of being whiny, and was determined to make a stand, so we agreed. I was a bit irked as we had just spent bear $1500 on tube ups, and replacing our rear breaks and rotors, AND that they forgot to tell us that our lug nut had a "problem". FYI Lug nuts usually do not have problems unless someone is sloppy and drill them back in at an angle causing them to snap. They fixed the lug nut in 30 minutes, BUT charged us $50 an hours worth of labor to replace a lug nut they snapped. After paying $1500 and having to go through the inconvenience of turning our truck back in, I was not happy with being charged a hours worth if work for Signature Auto to do a 30 minute fix for problems caused by incompetence. 3#) Break Fluid filled was over filled to the max- guessing the same "kid" who broke the lug nut had no idea how to properly fill fluid levels. FYI Over filling fluids an be far worse than running on low fluid levels and can cause severe damage. I would NEVER go back to any shop that was negligent enough to grossly over fill any fluid level. 4#) New windshield wiper was, so cheap and crappy that it had to be replaced. Not a big deal, but it was enough of an indication to the quality of parts that they likely use that I would not go back. Now we have to miss a day of work and pay to get a new radiator installed elsewhere. OVERFILL FLUID LEVELS So brake fluid being filled above the max not a major problem; however the brake fluid was filled to the cap- not a drop more could be put in- that is ridiculous, and obviously the "kid" mechanic had no idea to even check for a fill line. With the radiator being flushed too much coolant》》》 this could be disastrous, and in extreme cases crack the radiator. The fact that the radiator destruct so fast without warning or any signings with a large devasting crack is suspicious Again our radiator suddenly cracked. The repairs are costing us over 1K. 5 STARS - WTF!?! - No way... I looked at the reviews, and most are lacking any details about their vechicles, or types of service received. Some of these Yelp reviews seem legit, while other are suspect. We did choose to come here because of the positive Yelp reviews RADIATOR OVERFILL? My best guess as to why our radiator had a sudden catosropic FAIL and cracked could possibly due to an extreme coolant overfill. The buildup of pressure caused by adding too much coolant to a car can cause the rupturing of hoses, internal pipes and even the radiator. When coolant is added to a car, it is cold, however, while the engine is running, the liquid starts to expand, causing a buildup of pressure. If the radiator is too full, this buildup of pressure is often too great for the internal workings of the car. Leaks, cracks, and severe damage can result. Again we are not sure what happened; however the radiator was refilled after the flush, and if the radiator was over filled as much as the brake fluid then that would explain the sudden radiator destruction with no previous overheating issues. We felt that many of the mechanics were competent; however a complete lack of oversight could result in major problems and expensive repairs. I was referred by a friend of mine to look into S.A. for my car needs. He was not wrong! Victor was so nice on the phone and advised that they could see me the same day I called. When I arrived, I was greeted my Victor who handled everything with me from this point on. I knew I needed some additional work beyond my oil change and tire change. I could not believe how thorough the review was. They send a text/email to my phone and I had the full report of everything my car needed. I was beyond impressed. Sure, it's one thing to say, "your car needs this, this, this and this" but a complete game changer when the proof is in the pudding and your hand to look at yourself. Seriously, I felt no pressure to complete any of the work, because it was just a matter of fact that it needed to be done. Victor and I worked out a plan to complete things in phases which was easier for me and I could wait in the lobby. Also tidbit, they make being there easier too because they limit the amount of people to the lobby due to the circumstances. I've never been more impressed with an auto shop and I would 110% recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic in the area. I am from PA and was in Sewell for a sporting event. I had bad luck - when I got to town, the check engine light had come on my car. I needed help from someone trustworthy to figure out what the problem was, and if I could get back home safely or if I needed to get something done before the trip back. I came in without an appointment early on a Saturday AM, and both my car and I were taken care of - it was such a relief to find someone who really wanted to help. For a very reasonable fee my car was thoroughly checked, the likely issue diagnosed, and the green light given to me to return home without further work. Just had my breaks and rotors replaced on a 2007 Pontiac solstice and am very happy! Victor is very knowledgeable, no upsell, the price he quoted was the price it was. About 20 min after leaving I noticed the same grinding sound that I thought would be fixed by changing breaks and rotors (My assumption based on other mechanics opinions, not Victors) and he told me to bring it right back. He drove the car again and told me that it had something to do with the rear differential and could possibly be fixed with a flush. Just to note, the grinding sound was not picked up by them originally because I did not have time to let them finish fully checking my car which he told me before I took it. Totally No fault on their end! They worked really fast and had my breaks and rotors done the same day! They even have a way for you to drop your vehicle off overnight if you cant do so during their business hours which I definitely took advantage of. Victor even mentioned that there was a Yelp coupon and applied it. This wasn't the cheapest job, but it was quality performance and they warranty their work for 2 years or 24,000 miles! We moved to Signature's service area in August of 2014. My Corolla and my Wife's CRV had issues that we knew needed attention. Took both to Signature who evaluated the existing problems and corrected them along with a few others that would be future problems. We were pleased with the support we received from the, apparently, experienced staff which is hard to find now days. Automotive work isn't inexpensive. In this case I believe you receive what you pay for. It's refreshing to find a crew who isn't hesitant to be direct by pointing out issues to the customer, rather than glossing over them. I came here back in April of 2014 to respond to an ad on Craig's list for tires he was selling 3 tires 195 60 15 for $65 I lived in south Philadelphia so I came down when I got there Victor realized that one tire had a cut and could no longer sell it to me so Victor offered to sell the other 2 tires for the same price and install and balance for free for the trouble I went through. He is and honest and respectful mechanic I would get work done with him but I live no where near him maybe if I am driving by the neighborhood and my car breaks down I would think about this shop. read more

I can't begin to thank Mark for what he did for me. On 6/28/16 I took my Hyundai to the dealership because my battery light was flashing. I was told that my alternator was bad and it would cost $595 to replace. I happened to remember that Signature Auto had replaced my alternator in 2014. I called them and spoke to Mark. He told me that the alternator was still under warranty and he would replace it for me if I would bring the car to him. I told him that unfortunately the car was at the dealership and I had no way of getting there to get the car. Mark went above and beyond by calling a tow company to get the car from the dealership and bring it to him. He not only replaced the alternator for me with no charge for labor or towing but he was kind enough to pick me up from work and bring me to the garage to pick up the car.
