Since the first day I was treated well by the front staff, and any questions I have had were quickly answered by staff or forwarded to the doctor. Messages left over voicemail are usually answered within 24 hours for a response, and there is a website to make and edit appointments if you prefer to do that. I have had several different neurologists over the years and Dr. Ramezan and this office has been the first I have been completely happy with. Most people needing to come here should look past most of the complaints and see they will experience the same or worse from most neurological centers in Southern California. The wait time for appointments can be months in other places, if they accept new patients at all. When I go here I know the staff and the doctor will try very hard to ensure my good health, and to solve any problems I have as quickly as they can. My wife found Doctor Julie Brown and my daughter began vestibular therapy with her--essentially recalibrating her senses and nervous system. This type of therapy was recommended by my daughter's regular neurosurgeon and cardiologist, though they didn't offer any recommendations for therapists. Thank goodness my wife found Doctor Brown! My daughter immediately improved with each session. At times we would wheel her in in a wheelchair, and she would walk out...or even dance out! At first the effects lasted only a day or so. We took her to four appointments a week, and after a while the benefit seemed to "stick." She could get out of bed 3-4 hours a day, and now is up to 5-6 hours a day. POTS can improve (or degenerate) on its own but I am convinced this vestibular therapy has made a significant contribution to my daughter's health. She rode a bicycle the other day for the first time in nearly a year. Dr. Brown has also been amazingly accommodating and caring when my daughter was too ill to make the appointments and so forth.

We arrived at 1pm, we were put in a room, and we waited.... and waited... and waited... till about 2:30 when my dad got frustrated and finally said "let's go!". I've been dealing with their billing department for almost a year, and it's been a nightmare. Even my insurance company has tried contacting them multiple times but had a hard time communicating -- the billing staff barely speak English and seem to have no understanding of what an EOB means. Instead of resolving the issue, they continue to send incorrect bills and even threaten that nonpayment could hurt my credit. It's been extremely stressful and unprofessional. The doctors and nurses at this location are great -- very professional and caring -- but the billing department completely ruins the experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this location until their billing issues are fixed.
