Zumba with Nazli is awesome!! Its a great workout, so much fun, and I leave every class feeling energetic and happy. I had never done Zumba before but heard so much about it and decided to join a couple of friends at Nazli's Zumba class in Mountain View. It has been such a great and fun experience that even after moving to Foster City, I still drive half an hour to MV to attend Nazli's Zumba classes during the week. She's very careful about making sure we do the moves correctly without hurting ourselves. She gives us the option to choose the intensity based on how much we want to work out that day. And she's got a good variety of songs which she switches up every class to keep things fresh. She also has a 10-15 min stretching session at the end of every class which feels amazing! My sister who visited me for a week came with me for a couple of classes and she enjoyed it so much that she's going to join Zumba when she gets back home. All-in-all I've really enjoyed Zumba with Nazli! read more

This review is so overdue, I wanted to post this after the first class but somehow it took me a year and 7 pounds later to write this review. Nazli is so great! Her class is so much fun that I forget how the time passes. She has a great positive energy that keeps you going. She also has a great plan for each class, she picks the songs with various rhythms from all around the world that would challenge everyone no matter if you are a beginner or a pro! I love this class! I recently moved to the Bay Area and I was looking for a good Zumba class with an instructor that knows what she is doing and I found it. Zumba is a cardio work out not only dancing but it also fitness. Nazli is very knowledgeable of the fitness part and the different music rithyms. I never did Zumba in my life before joining Nazli's class. She made me feel so comfortable as a new comer. Nazli is so energetic & fun loving person that I just love the energy she brings into every class. Whole class gets into great mood & enthusiastic . She encourage us to sing the song while dancing. I look forward her class verey week. She personally corrects if we are not doing something right that way providing personal attention to each & every student in her class. I was looking for a Zumba class in Mountain View. I found all the great reviews on Yelp for Nazli and was ready to take a class. Then I saw her response to the reviewer who gave her one star - Jiniko. Curious, I checked her meetup page today and sure enough, it tells you the first class is free and drop-in is $10. Today is July 20th and she said on July 10 she hasn't offered a free class in weeks. I will not be taking a class with Nazli. I'll take my business elsewhere since she obviously does not honor her own advertising and promotions, and worse, blames the customer. read more

This was my first zumba dance fitness class ever and I must say, it was the best! Nazli has such an amazing energy! Her class was very vibrant. She is very welcoming and I felt at ease even though I was doing it for the first time. Her selection of music was simply superb!The workout started with a warmup song and then moved on to a higher intensity, with cool-down and stretches at the end. I got a 20-class pass and even though I couldn't complete them all in the time frame, the classes I attended were really fun. Nazli makes the experience really entertaining by mixing a lot of dance styles. She keeps up the energy from the beginning to end and makes it a good workout experience. I was looking for a nearby Zumba place and was so happy to find Nazli's class in Mountain View - close enough to pop by from work. Nazli was very welcoming and personable and she remembers people's names! She is very energetic, makes the class fun and lively, and she helps correct form so we don't injure ourselves. I love the music and dances she selects - lots of current songs along with the traditional latin, indian or middle-eastern music mixed in. Nazil is not only incredibly talented in creating her own choreography, she beams positivity, fun, and passion as she works the room, getting everyone to engage. I am one of those people who admittedly hates to exercise. I have tried everything from running to a rowing machine to kickboxing to yoga, and have failed miserably in keeping it up. After giving Zumba with Nazil a shot, I'm hooked! I found myself smiling as I danced and intuitively pushing harder as Nazil encouraged us to do. She is also very committed to ensuring that the participants are practicing good body mechanics. Every time I've been there the class has started on time. Nazli's Zumba classes are so great! I really rely on her to get my Zumba fix several times a week. She offers discounts on class packages, and even her drop in rate is super reasonable at $12! Due to a huge increase in the rent she pays for the space, she can no longer offer a free first class. This policy changed in June; but due to a web glitch on the meetup site the free class offer apparently still showed recently when non members viewed the page. None of Nazli's established group, including her, were seeing it because... Duh! We're already members and weren't viewing that page! Too bad when a simple misunderstanding results in a lousy review for a quality service.... Anybody who actually goes to Nazli's classes knows that they are so much fun and would vouch for her integrity and reliability. Nazli's classes are not free, but they are a great bargain! I will gladly pay more if she ever needs to raise her rates again... It is so worth it!!! read more

Zumba with Nazli is so much fun, its a great workout as well. One hour always seems to fly when you're dancing to amazing peppy music with a wonderful instructor who is so passionate about Zumba. Her energy and dance moves makes it a full party for the entire class! Nazli pays close attention and takes interest in each and every person. For the past few years, I have stayed away from doing my workouts inside. I hike, I bike and I run with my friends. I had taken Zumba class before and enjoyed it but wasn't thrilled with the instructors. When I found Nazili's class, it was like I belonged there. Nazili is amazing, fun, but watchful over her students who range in skill and age and body type- so that we do what is good for our bodies. Nazil is the best zumba teacher I've had -- I can't say enough good things about her. She's full of energy and joy, and makes everyone feel comfortable and energized right from the start. I love her music and routines. We dance to music from literally all over the world, and she's always adding new routines so there's a great mix of new and old favorites. She gives us options for high and low impact movements, and does a thorough cooldown at the end of class which leaves no part of our bodies untouched. I have been going to Zumba with Nazli for almost 2 years now. For someone like me who finds working out in the gym very dull and monotonous, Zumba is a great way to stay fit. It's a perfect way to start your day and you feel energetic throughout the day. Nazli's an amazing instructor with a lot of positive energy. I've really enjoyed doing Zumba with her, especially her choreography and selection of songs. Her playlist is current and diverse. We typically dance to music from all parts of the world. She really puts her heart and soul into every class she teaches. There have been times when she's been unwell, but she will still give her best in class. I admire her endurance during those times. She's a very passionate instructor and will try to ensure that everyone has a good time. She gives you a lot of personal attention during classes and motivates you during the routine. She makes you feel comfortable even if you have no prior experience of doing Zumba or dancing. She's always encouraging us to try and burn more calories, but she never pushes you beyond your comfort level. On Wednesday mornings, she also adds some strength training moves to her routine by using Zumba weights. Her instructions are very clear and she explains the importance of a proper stretch after every workout to avoid injuries. We spend about 15 minutes doing various stretches and yoga poses at the end of the class. I've made a lot of friends in this class. It's almost like we've become a big Zumba family. Nazli also organizes Zumba parties once in a while, which is a lot of fun! Overall I enjoy her classes immensely and i'm always excited to get the day started with some Zumba moves. As one of her regulars who's been going to her class for 2 years now, I would strongly recommend her class to anyone who's interested in trying Zumba. It's definitely worth dropping in and trying.
