I've never had a lash lift before but decided to try it after seeing some post online. Nirvana was able to get me in for an appointment the same day. The staff were very polite and the area was very clean and professional. I was pretty nervous about the appointment (didn't realize how uncomfortable I'd be having my eyes closed for so long) but the aesthetician, Paige, was so lovely and great to talk to. I'm so happy with how my lashes turned out! One minor thing that didn't bother me but could potentially bother others is that some of the treatment rooms have windows that see into a hallway of the main building. The windows are darkened but they're not private so someone walking into the building can see you while you're on your appointment. This didn't bother me during the appointment but if privacy is important to you then maybe look into a different salon. read more

I do not recommend this business. I found them on Facebook and had initially booked an appointment for a full set of Lash extensions. I was asked to put a credit card on file to HOLD the appointment. I received an appointment confirmation confirming the appointment and outlining their cancellation policy of 48 hours in advance. I canceled the appointment more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, and the business confirmed this. Instead of releasing the hold to my credit card, she charged me $100 dollars. During my interaction with the business, they did not mention anything of a non-refundable charge until I inquired about the unauthorized charge on my credit card. I have now filed a claim with my credit card company and submitted proof with screenshots that the appointment confirmation outlined the cancellation policy and proof that I followed the policy! They have opened an investigation and credited my money back! This would have been the first time using this business, and this is not how we treat customers. I would understand the charge if I had been a "no show" or last-minute cancellation, but this was not the case! Do not use his business. They are crooks! read more

This was my review after my first lash lift: It has been 4 weeks since my lash lift & I still don't need my curler. I will be going back every 8-10 weeks because it is worth every penny. After my 2nd lift, I'm not feeling so happy about it. My eyes were swollen & irritated for 2 days after my apt, my lashes were kinked in all different directions, & now they are falling out. I love this place. It's private, quiet :) and my eyebrows look amazing & last a good while after lamination.

Good for a quick trip but not on working with clients continually to build a relationship. I chose Nirvana and drive from an hour away. That being said, rescheduling is inevitable for busy moms and when it's not repetitive cancellations, she should be considerate of client's time as we try to be considerate of hers. My situation ended up in a Monday morning request to cancel/reschedule at 650am for an appt set at 10am Tuesday morning. I was still charged the fee without question. I have learned my lesson that 48hrs is unreasonable for me so if it's unreasonable for you, do not book here because there is no flexibility or relationship building. read more

Have been doing my lashes and eyebrow waxing here now for over a year and it has always been a great experience. That being said I decided to do the lip blush... semi permanent tinting for the lips. I was a bit scarred because I do not do well with pain but Li made sure to make me comfortable and would pause to check on my pain level. She would then reapply the numbing cream. Yes numbing cream cause without it I don't think I would have move forward with this. So make sure to that it numbs. Otherwise it was a great experience and the outcome fantastic. I am so happy with it cause I hate reapplying lipstick. I recommend it to anyone who may be thinking about this. read more

This place is horrible! If you're not able to show up for a lash appointment they will charge your credit card for the full amount if you had received the service. I went to Nirvana as the ratings were high and I'm new to the area. I was getting married. On that Thursday I had a full set of lashes applied for my wedding costing over $300. I kept them dry, followed after care instructions, and used the cleanser recommended. On the Saturday we departed to our destination. I noted that some were falling out, as to be expected, this was not the first time I've had lashes. By Sunday and Monday most of the lashes had fallen out. By Wednesday, the day of the wedding, I had to apply strip lashes. I reached out to the owner upon return, explaining the situation, and asking for not a full refund but a partial refund due to the product or application perhaps... I had honestly taken good care of them and followed the rules for obvious reasons. The answer was no. They guarantee their application for only 3 days. I'm very disappointed in this business. They could have tried to retain a customer or make it somewhat right considering they grossly overcharge anyways. I don't think a partial refund is unreasonable. This is the second time in my life I've written a review because I'm upset enough to do it. I'd be wary spending that amount and getting poor customer service when there's a problem. She did not explain the process as she was doing it and also when I mentioned discomfort/burning she was dismissive. Felt rushed throughout the entire process. Furthermore would not honor a coupon on her page on Yelp. RIDICULOUS! Update: When I made the appointment I indicated that I would be bringing my toddler. She was on her iPad and was well behaved. How did you babysit? Lies. From the very beginning you had an attitude and was less than helpful. The outcome of the lash lift was a waste of money and time because of the rushed below par service.
