My session was rushed, and did not feel calm or relaxing at all. I did not get my full 30 min. massage. When I was told to take my time to exit, I was shocked. I looked at the time and I had received about 15-20 min. - basically I went in at 10.33 and was done at 10.48 --I was not asked if it was soft to hard enough. I booked a facial here as a first time customer. The front desk was welcoming and I filled out the typical paperwork in a small room that was calming. The facial itself was surprisingly more medical then relaxing. I was surprised at how hard sales are pushed for their products. While I enjoyed the detail of my facial I was expecting it to be more "spa" like. I did not know this spa is attached to and owed by a chiropractor. All around I think Nirvelli strives for all around well being and they seem to offer a monthly membership to receive a service once a month. read more

If I could leave one star, believe me I would. So I went to this place about two weeks ago and I called on the day of my appointment and asked if i could come later and they were booked for the rest of the day. I explained to the girl at the front desk that I had an emergency and that I needed to come just 30 minutes later or just as early as possible. She told me they were booked. She was so nasty and so rude. It's like she didn't even care that I had an emergency. She informed me that if I could not make it they would charge my card. I told her as a first time customer I would think they could make an exception. They did not. I was able to make my appointment and I had changed my opinion of the spa because the nail tech Debbie was amazing with nails and the lady who did my bikini was efficient and fast. Almost pain free. I thought I had found my spa. So I booked another appointment and I had an appointment that came up so I called 22 hours (they corrected me over the phone) before my appointment, the rule is 24 and they still were going to charge me if I didn't come into the appointment. I asked to speak to the manager, I spoke with Colleen, after the front desk staff was so nasty, once again. I honestly should've learned my lesson. Colleen was even worst and told me I knew nothing about running a business and that's how business works. She can't break the rules for everyone, which I completely understand but I told her I just could not make it and it's still the day before just 22 hours instead of 24 hours. She was so rude and so nasty. She kept taking over me and would not stop. I asked to speak to the owner and she would not let me speak to them. She said that my charge was going to be charged and hung up. She sent me a snappy email later that night saying that I needed to find another spa and if I do decide to book with them again I would need to pay in advanced. I say to you: DO NOT GO TO THIS SPA. The nail and brow techs are good but the front desk staff is so nasty. Also there is an older woman nail tech there and she's kinda rude. At one point during the time of my first appointment no music was playing. She said I wish I could here some music and I was like oh I have Apple Music I can play pretty much anything she said I hope it's not that rap hip hop trash I don't want to hear that. Disappointed and didn't even have a chance to become a customer. I purchased a Groupon for a massage and facial package and when I called to book it was told that the soonest I could get in was nearly 3 months out. I was told that they sold a lot of them then overbooked themselves. The woman on the phone assured me that Groupon is really good about refunds though so if I want to cancel the Groupon and pay full price at their spa, they could get me in much sooner. So they DO in fact have appointment times available but will not honor the packages people have already purchased through their Groupon. However, if you want to pay full price for the services, they miraculously have open times available to book. Pass. I will contact Groupon and get refunded but I definitely will not be patronizing this business. read more

I had my first message today at Nirvelli. Roberto was amazing. I have had many messages but he is the first one who has ever considered my profession and the muscles that are used and strained. He is very knowledgeable and talented in his technique. His pressure was appropriate for our first visit. I requested a firm pressure and he did great. I felt very relaxed. This message was very therapeutic. I can't wait til our next appointment! I feel I need to share my impression of the spa itself. Pedicure was excellent but was not a pleasant, spa atmosphere. Massage chair had lost a fair amount of pleather in the arms and the control for the massage chair was so worn that there was plastic missing from over the buttons. Also I couldn't adjust the massage for my height so a lot of it was missed as the rollers went over my head to the top of the chair. Wendy's facial was great. Massage was not at all a calming experience. He was intense, frenetic and when I tried to tell him some background about my injuries he interrupted and talked over me. At one point he said "I don't agree with physical therapy. " PTs have 6 years of education and earn a PhD. Massage therapists have significantly less training in comparison. Do not recommend! Had two appointments this week and neither one happened. Was told the therapist had called me earlier today and that was not the case. Was told the flu is going around the office. Then was offered to get a one hour massage later today. Why would I want a one hour massage when I purchased 80 minute and WHY do I want someone massaging my body that is possibly spreading the flu? The staff appears to be in a total trance. No enthusiasm and just not a warm and friendly atmosphere. Feels like walking into a Primary Care Physcian office. Let me first start off by saying that I was looking forward to having my 30 minute reflexology appointment that I purchased via living social. I scheduled my appointment over the phone a week prior with no issues but things took a dramatic turn when I arrived for my appointment on Monday morning. When I arrived on-time I was not greeted by anyone but I was the one that said my Good Morning salutations to the people sitting at the front desk. There response was they would be be with me in a moment. I sat down and waited for about 10 minutes. No one ever follow-up with me. Another customer came in and she was immediately acknowledged and asked what they could help her with and who she was there to see. I was not asked any of this. Needless to say I was very upset and still sat there without any acknowledgement of my even being there. I left the establishment feeling deflated and without my reflexology. I am a professional African American women who was looking for a new massage therapist since my therapist recently left the area. The staff at Nirvelli would have known this had they simply talked to me. I would hate to think that I was not greeted or even followed-up with due to my ethnicity but what else could I think when the person who came into the spa was greeted pleasantly and I was ignored. I truly hope this is not the practice there but I would recommend that the staff be given a refresher on appropriate customer service skills. read more

I had the most amazing massage from Ella. She is so nice and so very good at massage therapy. I have some issues with my shoulder, having injured it years ago. She worked out all the pain. I have used many other massage therapists in the past, but from now on, I will only use Ella. The staff at Nirvelli is very nice. The facility is very clean and very relaxing. I had also scheduled a mani-pedi a couple of months ago. I had to cancel a few times, due to some unforeseen complications with foot surgery. I called a few days in advance - the staff member I talked with and Colleen were very understanding. Colleen even extended a gift certificate that I had that was expiring so I could still use the services. I couldn't have asked for better customer service. I am finally getting my mani-pedi on Friday and I am really looking forward to it! read more

I only gave this place one star because you can't give it zero stars. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a spa. I went to this place for a certain kind of treatment, but when I got there, they told me the product has wheat in it (which was not mentioned on the website). I have celiac, so the main reason I drove 30 minutes to this place, I couldn't even do. On another note, they have you fill out paperwork when you first arrive with your preferences during your treatment. Since I had already driven all the way out there, I got a massage. I am not sure why they have you fill out that paperwork if the people don't even read it. I said I do not like to talk during a massage, and guess what...my person talked throughout the entire thing. I said I liked firm pressure, and I got anything but firm...closer to soft pressure. I said I did not like to be massaged around my gluteus area, and guess what, I got massaged there. Lastly, I signed up for a deep tissue massage, and I got nothing even close to that. The pressure was lighter than what you get for a Swedish massage. Trust me....do not go here! Oh, and to top it all off. When I went to the front desk to pay, I complained that they need to have allergen information on their website. They told me they would put a request into management. And their apology... and I quote, "So, yea, we are sorry". Doesn't sound very sincere, does it? It wasn't!! read more

After my initial review, Colleen, the manager, reached out to me. That says a lot about her as a manager, one who cares about her clients. She invited me again to have a pedicure with An and I have to say, it is by far the best pedicure I've ever had. An spent so much time on the pedicure and didn't try to rush me out of there. He was thorough and just a really nice person. Debra who also is a nail technician there also seemed to be doing a great job. I had initially booked there as a recommendation from a friend. I went to Paula for a Signature Facial. I found them on Groupon and I really did luck out! Excellent excellent service. Very soothing, and my skin feels so smooth today! I have been going to Nirvelli since October 2004. Have the best experiences with many different services. I have had acupuncture, chiropractic, massages, facials and mani/pedi's. I am a Club member and try to go a couple of times a month. Dr. Heather Sefried is a wonderful, kind and compassionate owner and provider. Her acupuncture has given me instant relief from colds and frozen shoulder. All of the Staff is awesome and the results are always stellar. I have been to other local spas and always come back to Nirvelli. They never disappoint! read more

I had a groupon given to me as a gift for the facial with dermafile. As soon as I got in, the Esthetician was trying to upsale me, when I just really wanted to get in and relax. The waiting area is just a room with couches, nothing special. The facial was a little on the rough side, very painful extractions and very quick movements, and no massages on the shoulder area. She was very noisy and I would have loved a massage of some type while she waiting on the mask to set, since she was just sitting there. This is not a place to go for a relaxing service, it's more on the clinical side. The products were nice feeling. read more

I've given this place 3 chances and every time I go or call, the staff is always dry and short. My appointment was done wrong the first time; then when I went to my second one, the massage therapist gave me a complete different massage from what I ordered because she was to busy talking about how much she hates some politician, and when I call once to make an appointment the lady on the phone spoke so fast just telling me they don't do walk ins when I didn't even ask for it. I had bought a living social for a 30 minute reflexology session. First off, the website was difficult to use to schedule the appointment so I called the vendor to schedule weeks ago. On the day of the appointment, I left work with a 101 temperature and went to the doctor and found out I had a bacterial infection which made me highly contagious until on the antibiotics 24 hours. I know this is my fault and admitted it because I completely forgot about this 30 minute appointment until the alert popped up on my phone 15 minutes before. I called, didn't reach anyone and left a message apologizing and explaining my situation seeing if we could work something out as I am normally a very reliable client but I got sick that afternoon. A girl called me back later and rudely left me a message saying no, 24 hours needed and that the manager would call the next morning to discuss. I waited a couple of days and then received a message from Living Social saying that they had redeemed my voucher. No call, no alert, no follow up as promised - nothing. So I emailed and asked if we could work something out, even a compromise and received a very short E-mail back from their manager - Colleen. I completely understand 24 hour cancellations and how businesses work and I know I made a mistake but I don't need their attitude and lack of compromise. Would not deal with this company - as you can see by the review that was edited, they lack professionalism as it seems completely fine when their employees don't show up but it's not okay when a client is sick. Also, many legitimate salons provide call or email reminders and this one did neither. read more

She takes time to ensure your feet and nails are in the best shape possible when you leave and gives you tips to keep them looking and feeling great between visits.
