Had an amazing visit. The front desk was super friendly and warm. I absolutely loved Brian as my therapist for a prenatal massage. I didn't realize how much pain I held in my body until I felt it all release. I can't say enough how much he did a great job making me feel comfortable while pregnant. Now the fun part was this was a couples massage for my husband. His therapist was Chutima and he said he felt really good afterwards. I had the pleasure of getting a 60 min deep tissue massage as a treat for my birthday at Massage Destination. As soon I walked into the tranquil setting, I felt comfortable. A mural outside says: escape to find your inner oasisi and that is what I did. I had some of their refreshing detox lemon water while I filled out my intake sheet. I circles which areas on my body that I wanted special attention to and was greeted by my therapist after. Each room has a destination theme: New York, Santorini Greece, Malibu, Virgin Islands, Taj Mahal and Paris(which just happens to be a favorite city of mine). I ironically was escorted that room which had a mural of the Eiffel Tour along the Seine and other Parisian touches. I liked the attention to detail but I loved my massage even more. I had a great experience for my first massage there, way better than another place that I had gone to. I made my appointment online with Hannah and it was quick and easy. I was greeted upon entry and was brought back to massage room after about 2 minutes in the waiting room. Hannah confirmed the notes I had put down when booking the appointment and checked to see if there was anything else. She focused on the areas I requested and checked to see if the amount of pressure she was using was good. I really appreciated her check ins because I had surgery a few months ago and couldn't handle to much pressure in that area. I am looking forward to making my next visit. read more

Made my appointment two weeks in advance and even sent an email and RECEIVED A RESPONSE regarding opening back up after Covid-19 shut down. My appointment was scheduled for this morning at 10am. My husband gave me a gift certificate to Massage destination for my birthday as we are new to the area and I was in pain. I booked a massage with Natasha based on some of the reviews on here. Natasha was the rudest person I have ever encountered. She never made eye contact with me and barely talked. I asked her to work on my lower back and right hip and she never even addressed the area. All she did was press on my rhomboid muscles with her forearms very hard for an hour. When I walked out there was no "How was your session? " or "Thank you" she simply handed me my water, and told me have a good day. I left scratching my head as to what I did to make her so mean and cold.... read more

I went in yesterday do get a FULL BODY massage this was my first time and experience at this business I thought it would be great to try it the reviews seemed positive and the price was a fair rate. I went in for a FULL body massage. I came in at 8:54 AM ( My Appt was at 9:00) the front desk receptionist was very polite and professional . My massage was supposed to start at 9am I paid and was checked in by 8:55 am. The massage Therapist came out about 9:05 (which was late ) proceeded to take me to the room after she asked me questions and talked and I got undressed it was around 9:10 ( I paid for a 60 min massage). When I came into the room the therapist asked how I was I told her I was in a accident and I wanted to target a few areas during the massage. She said okay and we started the massage. About maybe 10 min after it started my eyes really started to bother me they started to hurt and itch and water really bad , I thought maybe it was just eye irritation or it would go away in a few minutes I tried not to interrupt the massage so I stuck through it not knowing how bad it was. The massage was very fair , not a great massage half of the time her hands were dry because she never used any liquid and it was just like a dry rub and she massaged nothing but my shoulders and back no arms no legs no nothing . The massage finished at 850 so I maybe received a 45 min massage and that's pushing it . Immediately when she was done I called her in the room and I was freaking out my eyes were bright red and one of my eyes had swollen almost shut I asked her to please find out what they cleaned the linens with and then asked her to check the linen because there was like this red glittery small pieces of like tinsel on my eyes almost like small shards of something on my face .. she proceeded to ignore me told me she hopes I learned something from the massage .. and Im like maam I am telling you my eye was not like this something is wrong and she was like "have a good day " I was shocked so I left in tears to my car and after sitting in it and taking a few photos I walked right back inside to speak with the receptionist I showed her my eyes and she was like " oh my gosh they werent like that when you went in " I said , I know ! I said something is wrong with my eyes either something fell on me from the linen or something was on the linen that was on the bed .. the massage therapist came up to the desk and said "we clean it with oxy clean " I am like ma'am There's something on that bed or the sheets are dirty or something ! She literally replied " I hope you learned something from the massage have a nice day , No one offered water a towel or to go check the room or any kind of compassion I just started crying and said I would go to my doctors office .. I have tried several attempts to reach a Manager with no luck so we can work through this .. If a manager or owner reviews this please play back your security footage I am not saying this whole place is bad but this particular massage therapist sucks she has no customer service her massage sucks and she has no care for ger clients or your liability or your company because If she did she would have never reacted this way or been so callous . *** I have entered a photo of 5 min after leaving the massage ** a photo the day after where my eye seems to have a reaction and the reply email !! Had a deep tissue massage recently at Massage Destination. I had not had a deep tissue massage before, only relaxation massages in the past, and thought I was needing a bit more of a therapeutic touch, so I decided to give it a try. First, the massage was wonderful; Georgia was able to identify my needs and suggested areas that I concentrate on more in depth through the massage. We opted for extending the massage for half an hour longer. I knew that I would be sore afterwards, but I wasn't quite prepared for how much soreness I would have. I did call back a couple of days later and discussed it to be sure I was in the norm range after a deep tissue massage and was told that it was, but suggested that my next one be the hour, or maybe go with the hot stone massage next round. The place is gorgeous, very peaceful and serene. The booking process is very simple and you don't feel any sales pressure in this place. I am pleased as pie to have a "massage destination" in the area available all through the week and will definitely be frequenting this location in the future. read more

I have been going here for a long time, getting facials and masques, and they are absolutely fabulous. There is an esthetician there that has magic hands, in fact, I call her that. I call to make an appointment and they know who I mean when I say, "I would like to make an appointment with Magic Hands". She has done wonders for my skin. She knows her stuff as I am constantly amazed at how much she knows about skin. I always feel like I have lost years of aging on my skin, which is a beautiful thing. She is relaxing, very thorough, gentle and sweet. If you book a facial with her, It will be memorable, to say the least. Everyone there is really nice and the spa is so clean. I got myself a prenatal massage today (29W) I had so much tension in my back & shoulders and (I hope I remember her name right) Geny/Jenny(sp?) performed an awesome massage! She definitely focused on where I had issues. Ambiance was nice, table was comfortable, and for my prenatal, the pillow used for support while on my side was great. I highly recommend this place. If there's a place you want them to work over just speak up! I'm giving them 3 stars because the first time I went I was thrilled with my experience. I went for my boyfriend for a couples massage. He wasn't crazy about his massage but I loved mine. So recently he paid for me to get another massage for my birthday. This experience however was less than pleasant. The woman I got was very nice but not professional at all. She completely forgot to rub my right hand, didn't massage my feet at all, and was continuously stopping to fiddle with the music, which stopped working halfway through my massage so it was completely silent. The reason I won't be returning to this place is because I sent an email to Massage Destination through their website explaining to them my experience in the most polite way and never got a response which shows me they simply do not care. read more

This rating is the average of 2 massages. The 1st one was outstanding and one of the best I have had. I was told to slowly get dressed and the lady would bring me water and the usual spiel of drinking lots of water, etc. The second one was just acceptable and felt rushed. No water offered and no summary of which muscles were tight. Walked out with a full waiting room and it tensed me up immediately. Also do not like having to tell receptionist what my tip will be while everyone is listening. If you can get someone who is good, then it is worth the price, but definitely not for an "oK" massage. read more

Massage Destination is a great company in Wake Forest! I've been in for massages, waxing and lash tinting. Each room has a unique setting that is takes you away to a relaxing destination. All of the massages that I have received have been very good. I saw Heather twice while pregnant and she did a great job. I have also seen other therapists, but don't remember their names. I have always been able to get an appointment very quickly - sometimes the next day. I was also late once and they were still able to accommodate me (I frankly wasn't expecting this and thought I would lose my time.) The only reason I did not give 5 stars, is that we did not use a pregnancy massage positioning cushion. We just used a bolster. At the time I didn't know the difference and I enjoyed the relaxing massage, however I later received another prenatal massage in the mountains where they used one and it made a difference. The lash tinting services were also excellent. I rate this higher than ones I've received at hair salon. This is my go to place in Wake Forest! read more
