I disagree with the response of my review from this office. They state that my "appointment" was made for a future dental visit and they were just reminding me of it. I NEVER made any future appointment with this office. In fact, I had previously told this office that I would never be returning, and yet they still try to get more money out of me if I did not cancel for this " future" visit. Luckily I found out about it. They even asked if my son was coming in. I told them "no" and said to NOT try to create any "future" appointment for him. I even had to call my son and tell him to keep an eye on what they were trying to do, so he wouldn't get some random future bill. The billing staff were definitely trying to diagnose me and even brought up my x-ray images at their desk when they were plying me with the need for more treatments and needed to "show" me why a lot of additional treatments were required. The one woman I spoke with was very aggressive in her manner in pushing the treatments and even asked me how much money I had in my flex spending account. Meanwhile she was calculating all of this into her computer. Don't trust this office. Find a reputable dentist interested in your dental health needs and not just trying to make money from you. read more

This dental clinic is Money making business. They charge $30 every visit if you have basic insurance. On my first visit, I told Dr Nisha my concerns about my teeth. She recommended to do deep cleaning.That cost me around $600-700 then later, she asked me to come back after 3 months. One day, I was seen by Other dentist while she's off. she said my teeth looks fine. Nothing to worry. When I came back later for my routine cleaning with Dr Nisha I was surprised when she said,I have 2 teeth with cavities. My waiting time is longer than the procedure I paid for. They did quick cleaning on my teeth. Like floss and brushed. The filling was quick too. Maybe because the cavity wasn't there. IDK. And that visit cost me $240. read more

Short version: I do not recommend using Dharmani's office for your dental needs. This is a profits-first business, and their quality of care and professionalism are highly questionable. Read on for my experience. Long Version: I first visited last year with a broken tooth. After a full mouth of x-rays, the practitioner said I would need a root canal--I expected that. Also indicated that I had a number of other problems that needed to be addressed, some cavities in a couple different places. They gave me a referral to another doctor in their complex for the root canal, and we scheduled an appointment in the future for a crown fitting and to correct cavities on the same side. After I was in the chair and numbed for the fitting, and after the dentist had drilled multiple teeth, I was told I would need a $1,200 crown lengthening procedure, and that I should do it right then and there. They said that the doctor who could do it was going out on maternity leave. Then proceeded to tell me this was an oral surgery where they would cut my gums back and grind my jaw bone to expose more of the tooth. I was shocked to be told is need to spend that amount of money, but even more put off by the suggestion that I had limited time to decide to have surgery because of someone's maternity leave. The dentist thought my concern was that I couldn't afford it, and offered me a credit card. Cost was NOT my problem, it was the lack of proper advisement before being asked to make a decision through a numbed, drooling mouth, on the spot. I said I couldn't do it that day, so they went back to work on the other teeth. By this point the anesthetic was wearing off, and the drilling was hurting me. Rather than administering more, she said "that shouldn't be the case, but we can be done," and started to clean up and push me out the door. I ended up getting the lengthening elsewhere, and finished the crown with Dharmani's office because no other dentists wanted to touch their work in process. All said and done, they told me I couldn't get a cleaning because my insurance was exhausted. Now a year later, 2 of the 3 teeth they touched need to be refilled because cavities developed under their fillings. I have to pay for this out of pocket because there's a 24 month rule on teeth that have been worked on being covered by insurance. My recommendation: DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. They're crooked and gave me the worst experience of my life. read more

Was recommended by my friend to come here for an Invisalign consultation and am glad that I did. The staff was very polite and helpful. The first thing they did for the consultation was a scan of my teeth to show me how my Invisalign treatment would turn out. The assistant did a great job with my scan and I didn't feel a thing! I first went to Dr Dharmani because I had seen her award on best of Milpitas. My husband had not been to the dentist in over 10 years because he was terrified. I was so pleased with my initial visits that I convinced him to go. Now, he never misses a dental appointment and has allowed the dentist to do quite a few procedures on him because she is so gentle. He even agreed to do Invisalign and now has a beautiful smile that he loves to show off. We've been going to Dr. Dharmani for a few years and we have not been disappointed. Stay away from this place. All they care about is how to reach into your pocket and take your $$$$. After I rejected their high pressure sales tactics to perform not needed procedures I became the enemy literally. And when they figured out I wasn't the cash cow they had hoped for I was sent a letter in the mail to seek another dentist, like really! For me this was a blessing in disguise, and a good riddance. I still can't wrap my head around why someone would take time off from work to get a basic teeth cleaning but gets sent home unattended with a list of other procedures ($$$$$) to be done instead. STAY AWAY !! Worst Dental Clinic ever !!! Fully operates on making money on people's misery and ignorance. I was assigned this clinic by my Delta insurance plan and I went there for my annual checkup. I was told since the dentist under which clinic operates, is not available someone else will be helping me. My initial X-rays were performed and dentist started doing my evaluation recommending for deep cleaning, crown replacement and cavity filling. I was told that it is very bad and had to be remedied immediately. Stephanie ( administrator ) will prepare my dental plan. So after patiently waiting for 30 mins and after few times being pitched Oral B dental kit (they sell it for 120$ ), I was been made aware that my pocket expense will 3500$ and my insurance doesn't cover many things. I wasn't sure that was accurate and asked Stephanie to explain a little bit more. She by them was very much irritated by continuous bugging and wasn't helping the case. My all procedures were put under D8999 (this is dental code for the unspecified orthodontic procedure, by report) which basically gives a free ride to the dental clinic to charge $$$$$ under the pretense of some complicated surgery. (Imagine being footed a 200$ for a 711 sushi under the label "curated by Michelin star chef! ). Well, I got worried and a little flummoxed by incessant staff. Next day I called my insurance and detailed them the incidence and a narrative from a half a room facility of Nisha Dharmani (yes, for dictionary its dental facility in more of war narrative where dentist being camping ). They obviously told that narrative purported to me is not true and the deep cleaning and crown replacement and the cavity filling is covered under root planning, gingival irrigation, and full porc crown(D4341A, D4921, D2740A) and my co-pay should be close to 500$, not 3500$. They called facility and Stephanie multiple times but were being either shunned or told that doesn't apply to my case. At this point BS was getting clear, I did check yelp and found out many had similar experiences. In the end, I did dump the facility but it is just bad to make money of patient who doesn't know the system and relying upon the dentist as their best counsel. Also, when I did ask for my own dental report and exam Stephanie didn't give me my own reports citing dr patient clause while patient being me !!! So stay away from this clinic, please do read your coverage and when in doubt call your insurer. read more

Dr Dharmani is a very pleasant and friendly dentist. She is very knowledgeable about technics of dentistry as she is a graduate from U.of Pacific Dental School. Stephanie, especially had to explain a lot of things to me especially regarding getting implants and she is very knowledgeable. All the staff are extremely friendly including Janet , Brenda, Joy . I am also very comfortable with the staff. I have been going to Dr. Dharmani for nearly 2 years since beginning medicare and using Delta Dental and was given Dr. Dharmani's name. Great experience with this office. One of my filling came off and needed to get it fix. Called this office and got in the next day without a problem. My first impression is a super clean office, that's a plus to me;) got greet right away. Stephanie was a quick and friendly lady that checked me in right away. Once I got inside and got X-ray to find out what's going on with my tooth, Dr. Saber was my dentist on that day. She took a look at my tooth and asked questions. Explained to me what's going on with my tooth in details. Then had Stephanie (front desk) explained to me what's my insurance cover and out of pocket before I decided to have procedure on that day. I ended up to get a temp crown while waiting two weeks for my permanently crown arrive. It was my first times and I was super nervous, but Dr Saber made it friendly, gently and pain free from numbed my tooth to actually procedure. She explained to me what's she going to do next so I can prepare and know mentally ;) I had a relax, stress free, pain free experience with this office from front desk to dentist and procedure. Excellent Staffs. Everybody in there is knowledgeable and friendly. Dr Dharmani also came in to introduce herself and was very nice . She wanted to make sure I was comfortable. I scheduled an appointment for regular cleaning. I called back in November but no slot available until Jan. I kept my patience knowing that the cleaning is overdue. Jan 17, I brought high hope to this dental office but has subsequently switched to another office due to below circumstance. 1. They took more than an hour to register me as a new patient and took x-rays (longest I've ever experienced) 2. They conducted my gum check and started to express their concern about inflammated gum and need a deep cleaning which cost $900 out of pocket. I explained to Stephanie that it's not something I expected and would like her to check to my insured company for the coverage again. She said will follow up with billing department and let me know. She also recommended me to go to another dentist office as they don't think regular cleaning fits me at the moment but the deep cleaning (trying to kick me out??) 3. I called my insurance company and re-check for deep cleaning coverage. I was told the out-of-pocket for four quadrants is only $100, not $900. I called the office during working hours, no one picked up, thus I left VM 4.I called to the office again on 1/22 and someone took my note to have Stephanie to call me back, but nothing came back Dr. Nisha is friendly and welcoming. Too bad, the staff can't provide the same level of service. If we were able to reconcile more timely, I won't feel as upset and willing to be Dr. Nisha patient. Let me start by saying I am HORRIFIED by the dentist, going to the dentist anything having to do with them BUT Dr. Dharmani and her staff made me feel relaxed and her gentle touch made all the difference! From Stephanie at the front helping me figure out my insurance and helping me schedule future appointments to Dr. Dharmani and her assistant reassuring me that I was ok and almost finished truly helped me. Very happy with Dr. Dharmani and staff. Dr. Dharmani was my assigned dentist from my DeltaCare insurance. Went in for an appointment last week and Dr. Dharmani really took the time to explain what I needed since my gums were bad and the front desk took the time to go over my treatment estimates. I wasn't sure what to expect from this insurance since I am new to it, but everyone made my visit very pleasant. I came back in today for my deep cleaning done today and it was painless! Guys, please DO NOT go to Nisha Dharmani, I don't trust her at all! They look at the patients only as $$$$, and nothing else. If Dr Nisha & her staff ever "Highly" recommend you to do light check oral cancer, or deep clean, or "Strongly" recommend you laser treatment for your gum. Please do consider take a second opinion from another doctor!!!!!! The doctor never looked at the X-ray pictures they took, their regular clean is speed-of-light, their gum pocket measurement is 45 second in total, and after all, they spend majority of the time recommend you their extra services. read more

Update: 11/5/15 So since my last review, I have had a difference with this clinic. After my initial appt, Dr Dharmani contacted me via phone and apologized for the experience I had with her associate. The apology was honest and sincere so when she asked if I would come back for a proper exam with her, i agreed. Upon arrival, I was greeted, didn't have to wait long. I have been back here a few times for some dental work and really feel that day was probably an off day for this clinic. Everything seems organized and staff is friendly. Ok, the fact that I gave a dentist 5 stars is amazing enough. I hate the dentist!! But Nisha Dharmani and her staff know this and do everything possible to make my visits painless (or at least less scary). I was traumatized by the dentist as a youth but being an adult now, I realize that I have to take care of my teeth if I want to keep them all. So I actually see her and her team somewhat regularly. My husband has been going to this location for years and when Nisha took over he just continued at the same location. Twee (sp?) is great at teeth cleanings and tries to keep my mind off of what I'm going through. And Nisha has been very patient with my dentist phobia and emotional issues I deal with whenever I have to go for an appointment. After many many years of Teeth Neglect due to not having Insurance, etc, etc. I came to in to get all of my cavities, and chipped teeth fixed. Round #1 was a very good experience. Everyone is friendly. Service was Fast, and Pain Free. My teeth definitely look, and feel better. You can barely see where my two front teeth where chipped :) I just need to go back to get my teeth cleaned. During this appointment she also wants to go over all of the repairs and polish thing up, and make sure nothing was missed. I like the attention to detail, and not just a hack job. I read more
