The first day of texting left a bad taste in my mouth but I still wanted to give it a try due to the possibility of a language barrier. Had an amazing experience, had a microdermabrasion facial. They give you a full neck and face massage.

I've been going here for a few years and would get a facial once every 3-4 months. They did a really good job early on but I feel they might have changed management bc things were not as great anymore. I found that technicians I got were a hit or miss and the quality wasn't consistent. Some would do a nice job and others barely used any of the fancy instruments on me and did one or two little extractions even though I knew my pores were more clogged than that. Also, they were always constantly trying to reschedule last minute which was annoying after I already made an appointment a month in advance. Other than that, the facial deals are fair coming out to ~$80/facial but idk if it's worth it if the service is subpar. read more

However, it feels impossible to reschedule, cancel, or schedule an appointment by phone or text. no one answers the phone and no replies to your texts. I know how your face looks and feels after. They gave me a facial but charged me for a micro needling session. I'm not local to this place, but I travel either every month or every other month to Orange County. I wanted to look for a spa that was an easy drive and specifically a Japanese Spa. I was looking for the Nano C Whitening Treatment, but it was not offered at this location. I am hoping that they update on their website soon. Since it was not offered I was considering both the IPL treatment and a Deep Pore Detox. Prior my visit Evelyn was consulting me on the phone and through text. Thank you so much for being so patient and thorough with me through the whole booking and follow up as well. Parking - Easy to park and very spacious due to it being in a plaza. Inside the facility was very clean and nice. I asked to have a skin analysis to see what my problem areas were. Keep in mind they will take a picture of you, so you might want to close eyes as its super bright. The lady recommended the two treatments I mentioned earlier in this review which was the IPL treatment and Deep Pore Detox. My areas of concern is redness on my cheeks and just blackheads in general. If you go here regularly, just get the skin analysis done so you know what your concerns are. And plus to check your progress on your skin care goals. When you go in you receive some garments to wear on the bed so you can get comfy. My treatment was done by Vivian, and she actually went through everything she did during the process. She explained each step which was helpful since I tend to be quite nervous. The IPL treatment didn't hurt at all. For me it was quite cooling to my face and I liked it! My complexion did improve and its less red than normal after looking at it a few days later then a week later. I know its not a one and done thing so I'll try it a couple more times. The price was nice as well. I think any higher will be too much for me but for both treatments it was pretty good and I'd consider going regularly for it. While using the facilities I did not ever feel like they were upselling me. So I know people prior had a negative experience but I think I got the opposite so they are definitely reading the feedback. Everyone was super sweet and kind! I'm coming back in June so I'm excited :) I think the feedback I want to provide is: - I'd like to see online booking - It would be nice to have better ventilation or an option for cold air to come in my room. The blankets were super hot, I was pretty much sweating in there a bit. - Maybe different music to play? I've been to both locations (the newer one is Costa Mesa, but there's one location in Rowland Heights as well). I couldn't find the location and was running late but they were so courtesy and was waiting for me. They escorted me to my room and I immediately changed into a robe. I purchased a 3 facial package and they basically just pick items that your skin needs. She said my face needed a little brightening and something for my pores. I love that it was a relaxing experience; I don't like chatty facial workers and she didn't ask me a ton of question and just got started. Even though I was late, she performed a full 60 minute facial. It also included a neck, shoulder and brief scalp massage. They spend about 5 minutes on extractions depending on your need. I didn't get forced to buy more packages which was nice. They also have GROUPONS available, so definitely check out if you are looking for a good facial experience. read more

Nishumula seemed promising, but was a huge disappointment. I called 1-2 weeks prior to book 3 facials since I'm not from the area, and the person who took my call seemed pleasant. She took a deposit for $50, which was understandable. The receptionist charged me $128 per facial for 3 deep pore detox facials, with my deposit deducted from the total -- online it's only $88?? Over my initial phone call, I was informed they had new client special for all facials. So why am I being charged an extra $40 per facial? The receptionist offered add-ons, but given that she was already upcharging me and I had booked a deep pore detox facial, I didn't opt for it. The bedding smelled like it hadn't been completely dried/still damp or hasn't been cleaned in a while. During the facials, the estheticians would wheel the carts in and out of the room and leave us hanging for what seemed like ages. It was incredibly disruptive to what should've been a relaxing experience. Facials only consisted of a cleanse, facial/neck massage, minimal to no extractions, and a rubber sheet mask. Where are the deep pore facial modalities? It felt like a basic hydrating facial. The estheticians also don't talk to you or explain what they're doing. They just wheel their carts in and get straight to it, making the experience feel factory like. Definitely not worth a single dollar, given that I pay $140 at home for a microderm and enzyme facial. On top of that, the service was inconsistent. My mom said her esthetician forgot to massage the other half of her face! She said it felt like someone just finger tapped her skin. I was surprised since we were in the same room, and I had received a neck/shoulder and light arm massage. Disappointing, I'll never be back and my sister who lives in the area won't either. read more

Words cannnot express how gorrible this place is!!!! Had a review before which was being turned away when arriving as they forgot to book me. They compensated me with an upgrade for deleting the post and now I regret it because I did delete it and they booked me and I never got my facial. This time was even worse. They checked me in then I was laying in the room for an hour waiting for my facial. I then wandered around looking for someone and now one was around. I finally just changed back into my regular clothes and left. Very very upset since this is the SECOND time. I feel more stressed being here once again. On top of everything the receptionist ignored me as I wandered in front hoping she would see me!!! Sooo upset and woul NEVER return. They do not take phone calls, only text. Took me two weeks to get an appt scheduled due to texting. I paid for a 75 min facial and they completed it in 60 mins. She left to go eat lunch, I had to interrupt the ladies eating to ask why my appointment was cut short. I was told because my face was so clean and it didn't require extractions. She finally said well do you want me to do an arm massage? I also arrived for my appointment and they asked me to come back in 45 mins. I was paying for a sitter so this made my facial more expensive. Also, I found it odd that they do not apply sunscreen or make it available prior to leaving. A skin care salon should make sun damage prevention a priority. read more
