I walked out before having my lip filler procedure because I did not feel comfortable proceeding. When I arrived, I was checked in and brought to a room, but no one introduced themselves or explained the process. I was simply told, "we'll be with you soon," and left alone. I waited over 20 minutes with no communication or update. I had no idea if I was waiting for the injector, a consultation, paperwork, or another step in the process. When I finally went to the front desk, I was told they were waiting for medical clearance--but that had never been explained to me. For an elective injectable procedure, communication and making patients feel comfortable are essential. A simple explanation of what was happening and how long I should expect to wait would have made a big difference. Came in for Botox and now I can barely smile with my teeth. The injector hit my DLI, and what started as a slightly crooked smile turned into barely being able to smile normally at all. To make matters even worse, now I have a lisp coming on -- possibly from incorrectly injected DAO Botox as well. I've had Botox before and never experienced anything close to this. The entire appointment felt rushed, with too much product placed incorrectly and injected too quickly. UPDATE BELOW: I had a mixed experience here. The space was clean and modern, and the staff were pleasant. I booked the $150 new client deal for half a syringe. However, once in the treatment room, I was immediately pitched a different filler option that cost $250 more. It felt like the assumption was I'd proceed rather than being asked if I wanted that. I did agree, but the approach felt off. The injector was kind but worked quite fast, and the procedure was more painful than I expected. Post-care, I was handed a $40 lip mask (without really being asked) as another add-on. My lips look good so far, but overall, I felt upsold and rushed. UPDATE: The manager Nikki reached out to me after my review and honestly she was super sweet and professional! As someone who's getting things done to my face I really just want to feel heard, comfortable and confident with the process and she definitely made me feel that way. She listened to all of my concerns and made it clear that her priority was making sure I was happy with my results. She set me up with a two week follow up appointment and I also had a third visit after that. Luckily, the girls working were so kind and super knowledgeable about amount and type of filler. They recommended Restylane Kysse, a softer filler which would have come out to $399. I ended up choosing versa in the recommended .5 ml amount for my first time getting lip filler, & that the pricepoint settled at $199 for the online deal. I went in for nose filler and came out with chin filler as well as a retouch on my lip filler I had done about 2 weeks ago. Staff was lovely and very communicative, I love my chin and nose filler but I feel like I got botched on my lip filler. I mentioned this concern where you can see the filler outside or it being uneven. First time client here at naked Md. in Newport. Checked in early 10 minutes early. My appointment was for 11:45. I got into a room at 12:10. They were very nice and let me know about the different filler options they had. I had used a new client promotion that cost $199 for one syringe of filler. If I wanted to upgrade to a longer lasting filler they let me know it would be $200 more. I stayed with the cheaper option. My injector was Soyeon, NP and she was amazing. She was able to point out some unevenness I had prior and was able to make my lips look even now. She understood my end goal and achieved my goal. Minimal pain, a little bruising but they look good so far ! I would come back and book with her again. they are still swollen but I am excited to see how they look in the next two weeks once they are healed. read more

I like NakedMd for their prices. I have been to this location twice, and both times had to wait 30-40 minutes to be seen after my scheduled appointment. Although the staff was very sweet and friendly, I felt very rushed to making a decision when I was unsure of whether to get botox or filler in certain areas. I had three different people come into the room, and it felt like I was explaining my goals every time. I really wish they took their time to figure out what I needed and explained the different treatments better. I have gotten masseter botox and chin filler here before and the results were great. But this time around, I was a bit unsure and the nurses just kept telling me this and that but not really explaining what the procedure would entail. Also the injector this time was also very nice but after the injection, just asked if I had questions and didn't explain what not to do after getting botox until I asked. Overall, be prepared to know your procedures you want done and do your own in depth research on all the different procedures you want before going. Also make sure to give yourself at least two hours from your scheduled appointment to be done. The staff was super sweet, just really wished they didn't rush things because putting something in your face shouldn't be something you rush through. read more

I had a very bad experience with NakedMD in Newport Beach. I went in for lip filler. After completing lengthy forms, they asked for my ID. I gave it to her and asked her not to make a copy. They take 10 pictures (before and after), not only of the treated area but of the entire face. Why? She claimed this was their policy. These actions should be voluntary, not mandatory, especially if the customer minds. NO COPY OF ID NO SERVICE. That is what she told me. At other cosmetic places I've visited, no one required taking pictures or making a copy of my ID.  This is not a surgery center and they are paid cash/card. So, there is no good reason to make a copy of the ID, unless they have other intentions. They collect customer information (with ID picture) to sell. They offer some discount but they steal and sell customer information without disclosing what is happening.  If they operate with any decency, they would not require a copy of customer ID, especially after I said no. Their management representative was very rude. She is either naive or complicit. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They seem to be in the business of collecting and selling customer personal information. I left without getting any service. I am already receiving enough spam emails, text messages, and financial frauds, and I don't need more of that. Do you? read more
