As we were getting in the car, I realized I did not have my wallet! I had no ID!! Our driver agreed to drive us to my place in Uptown so I could get my passport, then took us to MSP. This big circle doubled the time we used the car service. I felt bad and asked if I was messing up any other booked rides - and was told not to worry. They had other drivers that could handle that. Overall - professional, friendly, and willing to do what it takes to meet the customer needs. When we were picked up at MSP on our return, they even asked if we ever found my wallet.

When I mentioned that I wasn't familiar with the airport, (baggage claim pick-up & ground transport for towncar service pick-up were confusingly in different directions from each other), the driver came inside the airport to find me and help me with my bags to the car. Now that is service! They went above my expectations and helped a confused lady out.

He was great with communication, helped with our luggage, and the door-to-door service was so nice. We paid and tipped up front, and he still gave excellent service from start to finish. I am a busy mom of 7 who has been looking forward to traveling alone for the first time in 23…read moreyears. I reserved a Land to Air shuttle ticket for Wednesday, 3/19, around 8 AM. Bad weather is moving in tomorrow (I get it) and I received a phone call today that all shuttles are cancelled for tomorrow. I was told that I'll have an account opened in my name and credit will be issued. I disagreed that was a good idea and was told my request would be "passed to corporate." The only credit I can give the company is that "corporate" called me and stated that my credit can be used for 12 months from today. I stated that I disagreed with this policy and do not plan to use this credit. I don't understand how they can justify this. Drivers won't be clocking in tomorrow, no gas is being used on these shuttles, and I'm not just scrambling to change my travel plans, I'm baffled that a small business in the Midwest would think non-refundable is the way to go when THEY decide to cancel the shuttle. Read the other reviews below because I'm not the only person who's been in this position. I'm not planning to travel again on Land to Air again and they can keep the "credit" on my account. I've had my money's worth sharing my experience honestly. Get a friend to drive you to the airport instead!

In this case...never again will I use this cab. Call it a case of simple misunderstanding, a communication barrier or simply not putting two and two together....my experience went something like this. Driver: "Where you go want?" me: "um, i have these cross streets and this address" *driver looks at address, confused. Driver: "i don't know where that is" me: "you don't know where you're going? i'm confused. i figured you would know where to go. i've never been to this address before." *he punches the address into the gps, nothing comes up. Driver : "okay, we drive" me: "uh, okay. i know it's off these cross roads and is about 7 miles away from the airport." * We get halfway to downtown Minneapolis and I know it's not right...as my total far is now $35.00. me: "this isn't right. i'm calling my sister, she can help us." *sister tells me i'm in the wrong area completely and need to turn around. the usual fare for getting to her place is around $15. driver: "we back now, your fault. you didn't say city or where to go" * um, what?! After he blamed the misunderstanding on me [which i apologized for] he attempted to make me pay the entire $80 fare...which i gladly shot down and paid him a whopping $18.00 instead. -terrible service. -HUGE communication barrier [as most don't speak great English] -overrated and overcharge. ick.

A few days prior to our trip, I realized our flight time was earlier, reached out to David to see if original pick up time would be okay and with his expertise, he recommend we leave a little earlier, which was much appreciated and he was able to quickly confirm change in pick up time. Day of, bright and early David was there just before our pick up time at 4:30am. He was personable, respectful and positive so early in the morning! Great conversation on the way there, spacious and super clean vehicle with plenty of room for just us two, but we know we can fit our family of six and luggage in his car for future trips.
