Diane at Niwot Florist helped make my wedding day perfect. Niwot Florist is located in Niwot Market, so on our first visit I was a little skeptical. I was thinking, "Am I ordering my wedding flowers from a grocery store? Should I just go to King Soopers?" I totally underestimated this little place. Diane knew what she was talking about, and at the end of our first meeting, I knew we wanted to use her services. I try not to be high maintenance, but sometimes it just comes out (I'm from the East Coast, it's in my DNA). Diane was so wonderful to work with. She dealt with my last minute changes, and really helped my vision come to life, while coming in UNDER budget. She also put up with numerous emails and quelled my fears. We ordered centerpieces, flowers for our arch, chair arrangements, cake flowers, bouquets, corsages, and boutineers. I can say I was happy with every single aspect of our flowers. A sign on the road does not make clear that the Niwot Florist resides within the Niwot Market. I had to circle the complex twice and call before finding the business. Once found I ordered a box of Valentine roses. I waited patiently for my order to be filled and be handed a bag of roses. I reiterated my request for a box of roses. "Oh, we don't have boxes" was the response. They acknowledged my request and stood dumbfounded. So much for shopping local. Now I get to drive elsewhere. read more

I used Niwot Florist for our wedding and Kristy did a beautiful job with our floral arrangements. She was incredibly thoughtful in listening to my requests (she even secured a plant type common in the part of the world where we got engaged!) but was highly skillful in utilizing her creativity to take my basic ideas to the next level. She was wonderfully communicative and remained on-time and organized throughout all steps of the process (and patient with my scattered decision-making process). Diane did the bouquets and boutonnieres for my mountain-themed wedding. Diane was easy to work with and reasonable in price (compared to Longmont Florist and others in Boulder). She was willing to custom design bouquets and corsages to bring down the price. She got in touch with me through email frequently before the wedding, and I never had to worry. My bouquet of peonies and roses was exactly how I imagined it to be. The corsages and boutonnieres were well-made, and they lasted all day throughout the wedding without problem. read more

Having Kristy Grubb design our flowers for our wedding was absolutely the best decision we made along the way. I had done some research and ultimately decided that flowers were unreasonably expensive and difficult to coordinate and plan. After being referred to Kristy it took literally 2 seconds to change my mind. She had such a calming presence about her which allowed us to rest assured that we would not have to waste time worrying about any hiccup that may arise. Her ideas were flawless; we were so indecisive and unsure about what we wanted but she helped guide us and the outcome was perfection! The day of, I later found out, Kristy took the initiative at the venue and made sure that everything was set up beautifully. Our venue and coordinators hadn't even set the tables up when she arrived, so she made sure to see the set up through from start to finish (even though she shouldn't have had to do that). Without her the reception may not have even been ready, and it certainly wouldn't have looked as special. We are so happy that Kristy's attention to detail, great customer service, and beautiful portfolio turned our ideas about flowers around. Working with her was a true pleasure.
