I have to say hands down, I will never ever go to anyone else to have micro needling or laser done. It has been way overdue that I have decided to write a review. I have been coming to Naha and her…read moreclinic for the past year. She has always taken great care of me and my skin. We have great conversations that make time go by and elevate the facial to more than just a facial- a whole experience. She always puts in her best effort into my skin and has me leaving flawlessly. I once had these two millia on my skin (specifically my eye lids) and my dermatologist recommended me to get some kind of surgery to burn them off. However, she was able to patiently remove them with such meticulous effort. If it wasn't for her, I would have gone through surgery to remove them. I also want to say that I am on Accutane, so this place is Accutane friendly! Normally, people on Accutane can not get facials due to dehydrated skin, but I have to say that Naha caters to diverse pool of skins! She always uses products that will help elevate and clean my skin without damaging it. Hence, my dermatologist recommending me to go to an esthetician and remove my blackheads. Thank you Naha for helping me maintain my youthful skin. I always leave happy here, and I hope to continue to do so!

Maha is super knowledgeable about what she's doing, she walks you through everything and also tells you what she's doing as she does it. Before we even got started I had a brief chat with her about my skin and that's when she kind of decided what we were going to do. I had purchased the custom facial from Groupon. The clinic/spa is super clean. She wore gloves and a mask which I personally appreciate and also sanitized the room before she brought me in. She was a good conversationist and had some good advise and insights about my skin. She took her time with me. The girl in the front office was also super sweet and polite and when Maha was running behind a few minutes, they both took the time to come talk to me individually. It made me feel like a valued customer. Definitely recommend. I will probably go for a microdermabrasion facial next.

I was looking forward to get another appointment but after today.. I was excited as I thought I can at least have a little relaxation from a long day's work. The place looks clean and well equipped. Unfortunately, as I walked through their door, I was unwelcomed by the nasty staff who gave me an "attitude" despite my all smiling face and being sorry as I was aware I came like 15 mins late (who the hell should care, I paid for it). She said hi, but displeased. She asked, "so that's Groupon?" like she wants to imply something. She was all complaining with a discouraging face and tone of voice. She said she was only going to do the remaining time for me because I was late, not only that, she said, I still have to fill out I think more than 5-page forms which is an implication that since they are lot of pages, I may not have enough time to really do the facials. At the back of my mind, OMG! gurl! Am I getting this for free??? Helooo.. I paid for this! Grrr! I was still positive and composed but still she continued complaining.. She said she was already tired. They have to close at 6 pm; she still has to drive home for two hours; she still has to prepare the equipment , water , etc! omygod! She handed me the forms and I was ready to fill out but she wouldn't stop talking, she pushed my button! So.. to conclude, I still maintained my composure. I didnt want to ruin my day.. I just gracefully leave the forms on the seat and told her " Umm.. Ms.. I think you are very tired today. I should just cancel this. Don't worry, I'm fine.. Have a good evening. I'm happy I found a place that takes pride in their work and doesn't allow you to get treatments you don't need. I asked for chin filler and she showed me that I don't need it whereas other businesses would've just took the money and made my chin look crazy. I will be back and I can't wait to come back to Elle! Angie has a lovely personality, thoroughly explains procedures, and does top notch work. I recently had a mani and pedi by Tiffany. The pedi was amazing because of the massage. I've had a lot of manis and pedis in my life, but these were the best. Also, I was the only person getting a mani and pedi. Their set up suggests that only one client at a time is allowed to get a mani or pedi. I don't know whether this has always been their set up or if it's new due to Covid. Also, when getting the mani, Tiffany and I were separated by a plexiglass shield. From now on I'll only get manis and pedis from Tiffany at Radiance. My regular (non-gel) mani lasted almost 2 weeks! I recently had my hair colored by Teresa. She did a great job. She has also blown-out my curly hair a few times, making it nice and straight, but with bounce. Gabby has washed my hair and gives an awesome scalp massage! Radiance at Lansdowne takes Covid seriously and follows strict protocol to prevent transmission. They got an all-new building air filtration system early in the pandemic. All employees wear masks at all times: they don't even eat in the building as that would mean removing their masks! And, if you'd like the employee you'll be seeing to double-mask and wear a face shield, you can just let the front desk know and they'll accommodate your request. They follow an anti-Covid cleaning regimen that's VERY thorough and do not allow employees to work if they are sick. Before your appointment you must complete a questionnaire that assesses the possibility that you've been infected. You must call the salon from your car when you arrive for your appointment and they will let you know when you may enter the building. They have hand sanitizer at the door and expect all clients to sanitize their hands upon entering the building. I am super paranoid about getting Covid, but feel safe going to Radiance at Lansdowne.

I go to pay and am charge $113 before tip. When I ask where the other money is coming from they say, "you got your hair curled which is an additional $33" (plus another $5 eco charge?). If I would have been told that curling my above-the-shoulder hair was going to be an additional $33 I would not have moved forward with that. I was shocked that I was not told that at the time of styling that it would be a surcharge (and anyways, $33 to curl hair??) Writing this review to warn others of "hidden" charges. Perhaps this is standard but I was completely surprised and am turned off from returning.
