In conjunction with my doctor her work has been especially helpful in flattening the raised scar and improving hyperpigmentation of not only the scar but also under my eyes. I was so happy with my results that I brought my sister to address some skin issues she was having and Farrah has improved her skin as well. We continue to come for maintenance, even though it's almost an hour drive, because she goes above and beyond, offers reasonable pricing and has been successful in addressing our skin care issues.

As for laser, this is my two cents and my experience. I've researched a lot of places and a lot about laser hair removal - having someone recognize and understand how to treat people of color is vastly important to the laser hair removal experience. I first started with my underarms and after my first session i saw great results. And so I decided to do the full body hair removal. Interesting fact, different parts of your body are of different tones so it requires a different intensity of laser. She will test the skin type & color w a small device and adjust the laser accordingly. Pain wise if you're wondering - I have a relatively high pain tolerance and waxing doesn't really hurt for me - laser felt like a dull needle poking at my skin for like 5 seconds. The process is very fast if you've prepped well. Prep includes shaving against the grain before your visit & being clean! She's really kind, patient, and quite thorough. I very much recommend getting laser if you're tired of waxing / shaving and I recommend it with her. She's very knowledgeable and very good at her art. I was VERY skeptical about the process but I see short term results and am being patient for the long term results! I have about 4 more sessions - will update then! :) Can't tell you enough about how great the experience is end to end. 20/10 recommend.

They lost or messed up my chart and refused to honor my last remaining session, as well as two months of facial treatments that were included for my mom. What was very disappointing is that on the day of my scheduled appointment, while I was sitting in the lobby waiting, they sent me a message saying they would not be doing my session. No one even came to speak with me directly or try to resolve the issue. Instead of fixing the mistake on their end, the focus seemed to be on selling more services. Once you purchase a package, the treatment and customer service change completely. This experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I hope management looks into this and resolves the issue properly.

Unfortunately most of the med spa in VA do not accept my skin tone which is a little bit in the tan side (type 4). This med spa provides a variety of treatments and welcoming all skin colors! I had a mishaps on doing Derma planning by myself which ruins my skin so much. I had 3 consecutive Pico Laser treatment (I thought it was more than that) and the result was phenomenal! I will surely continue my sessions when I get back from my trip and keep my review updated. You cannot say no with the quality of service, the results you are getting and their competitive pricing. Dr. Q and Barbara are super hands on and will make sure for you to attain what you want. I am just happy and excited for my next session and hoping to achieve my skin goal or even better.
