The 2 times I've been here I've had to wait 15 mins pass my appointment time. After physican assistant takes measure's my weight, height, and temperature. I waited another 15 minutes for the doc. Total time with doc was less than 5 minutes since my survey I wrote when I was with the PA had no issues. I don't have any chronic ailments yet so I consider my lucky so far. I probably do check in too much at restaurants. Too much waiting but it's only for once a year so far.

You had a bad day. Please don't take it out on a guy who just wants to know the results of a singular test. Working customer service myself I understand the hardships that come with the job. I also know when someones having a terrible day and starts a power play with a customer. Technical mistakes happen. We're only human. Sometimes it's no ones fault. She said I'll be back in a few to provide you with paperwork, diagnosis and script. Someone came in, one of the staff members and hand me a cup and said she wants your urine to be tested - I had no idea why or how this could be when we were just together and it was about my nose. I asked him what for? He replied she will have to go over that with you. So I did it. This doctor came back in and I asked why she took my urine and she said, I almost don't believe I'm writing this, I've run several tests for STDs. I absolutely lost my mind! First of all who the hell is she to question anything like that she would need to ask me some questions about my sexual activity, I asked her what STDs has to do with my nose she had no answer. I left there and for some strange reason since it had been burning under my nose I figured let me fill this prescription Huge mistake! I was then in a situation where I was given a VERY strong, dangerous ointment which resulted in a SEVERE infection - taking the entire side of my face over & according to my dermatologist exasperating anything that could have been wrong to begin with as well as causing this to be 1 DAY away from my bloodstream. The facility appeared clean with no undesirable odors. The receptionist staff was friendly and professional. There are two large buildings on the property and clearer directions to which one and exactly where the River Drive Center is located would have been helpful. It's the building to the left upon entering with the Surgery Center to the left side of the left building. Parking is ample. The care provided appeared totally acceptable.

Turns out, MRI's aren't that bad. Had my eyes closed so I didn't mind the tight space. The random banging is only slightly annoying. I couldn't hear the music through the headphones, so I would request it to be louder next time. The IV needle was the worst part. Once they removed it, I was fine, and was on my way. There's plenty of parking, and a gift shop if you need basic things.

The staff has always processed us through rather quickly. If some people are experiencing a long wait time, it may be because the doctors take their time with patients. An emergency appointment can cut into their schedule and back up appointments. People have to expect that occasional problem and realize that they would also want the doctor to take the time if they were to experience such an emergency unscheduled appointment.
