I'm so happy I did because the technician "Jackson" that was sent to my house to perform the repair was so friendly and very professional. He was also a very hard worker and you could tell that he took pride in his work. He realized that the reason my garage was not closing all the way was because it was jammed. He was able to unjam it in 30 minutes and now my garage can close again. It was such a simple fix, and I was unable to figure it out, but thank goodness Jackson was. Thanks so much! I got a rough estimate over the phone and scheduled for today. Got a text confirmation and a follow up call to confirm closer to my appt time. Gadi agreed I needed to upgrade my very old garage door opener and suggested updating some of the hardware as well, springs, pulleys etc... His price was very reasonable and he and his assistant got to work right away and finished in a couple hours. He showed me all his work and explained the new equipment. I don't like leaving bad reviews especially for small businesses because I don't want it to affect…read moretheir family or livelihood but in this case, JJ just stopped replying back to me and does not want to fix his mistakes. First issue was one of the panels was dented & the glass panels were different from the ones he initially showed me. When I brought it to his attention, he told me it'll take 7 months to get a replacement. I told him I can wait , it's not a problem. Second issue was that he left all the plastic wrapping on the doors, and now the adhesive got stuck and it's impossible to remove now. When the "new" replacement panel came in, I noticed that it was a different color panel and someone painted it white. So it doesn't match with the rest of the garage door panels. The other issue with the panel is that JJ installed it upside down. Third issue, I tried contacting him multiple times to ask him to fix these problems and he decided to stop replying back to me. So I would warn everybody, before you pay him, fully inspect the job first because you will not hear back from him once he's paid and gone.

He quoted me $600 to replace the motor and $700 for replacing the springs (I called 3 other companies afterwards and they all quote me at around $350 range for 2 springs).
