We found a small leak in our crawl space and called All Clear Plumbing and Drains. They immediately…read morescheduled someone to evaluate the leak within hours of my call. The office even called back letting me know the technician would be coming earlier than expected and asked if I would be available. Finally, a company that appreciates my time too!!! Drew, the technician, was very courteous as he explained what needed to be done. He was able to start work immediately and, once completed, Drew showed me what he did. In addition to the excellent service, I love this company for their professionalism and friendliness. All Clear Plumbing and Drains is my go to plumbing company now!

I called them and they were polite and responsive. The gentleman who came out gave me a fairly high…read morequote.... but i thought, if I never have to deal with this stupid sump pump again, it will be worth it. They quoted me 1600 dollars... that was only to remove the old sump (pumps, plural) and replace it with a new one. I wasnt sure if the electrical was to blame or the sump pump so I just contracted with them...thinking they will take care of it. They originally said how it would take probably 8 hours. The day the gentleman showed up to do the work, he was timely and polite. Everything started out great. But then he was done in about 2 hours... (????) so i figured, no problem, at least I wont have to worry about it again... (queue up the foreshadowing...as this was NOT the last time I would have to deal with it). Within a month or 2 I went down to the basement/crawlspace area to add salt to the water softener, and sure enough, there was standing water...(What the heck??) So I called All Clear.... They promptly showed up.. it was even the same guy! He stuck his hand in the mucky/murky water and stirred it around and got it working again.. and told me ..."anytime this happens you can just do this" (UHHH NO THANK YOU SIR, I WILL NOT BE STICKING MY HAND IN GROSS WATER TO FEEL FOR SOMETHING TO TRIGGER THE SUMP PUMP) I told him im not sticking my hand in that so ...what do i just ...poke it with a stick? He said, yeah just do that. So I ultimately paid 1600 dollars for a sump pump replacement that took 2 hours that I have to go and poke with a stick on occasion. How do I feel about this..? Not good, to be honest. I have never paid that much per hour for plumbing work..(well, honestly I paid less for plumbing work from another company that just ended up getting ripped out and to have them text and threaten me)... so I guess at least the plumbing work stayed put and works...90% of the time... but I cannot say it was a good value. I kind of figured that for that amount of money (per hour) I would have gotten a better, more lasting outcome.

Despite working for us on at least 5 jobs at our home and being paid many thousands, Darwin…read moreRodriguez, the owner of AREON, left behind several amazingly negligent or deliberately unfinished problems! The list of issues: --3 return Vents were left without filters (which eventually would have ruined the system), --They installed a new) condenser but left the box unwired. --A separate AC system for our office was not cooling. When Darwin looked at it the last time he said that they would probably have to put in more freon to the cooler. So since 2 of our three systems were down and Darwin had ghosted us, we finally called another HVAC man. --Within an hour the new man had turned the junction circuit right-side up for the office AC and it started immediately. He connected the wire in the box and got that system immediately working as well. He fixed one filter so it would fit and gave us the measurements for us to purchase new filters for all 3 returns. The real negligence however is when they, for many thousands, installed completely new venting right on top of pre-existing copper steam heat pipes! Luckily the system isn't on at this time of year otherwise it would have completely burned through the venting. We discovered this only after our plumber pointed it out AND after we had paid AREON almost everything we owed him. Luckily I held back money which won't come close to covering the cost of fixing AREON'S mistakes. When I tried to get Darwin back on the phone several times he wouldn't reply. When I asked a friend of his (who speaks Spanish fluently) to intervene, Darwin told this fellow to "Never call him again!" He completely ghosted us! These problems are probably caused, at least in part, by the: --unsupervised installations. The owner leaves his men, sometimes for an entire day, and often not showing up at all! That's how mistakes happen. --Owner's erratic emotional swings --the fact alt his workers speak virtually no English, Whenever asked a question his worker would always say "Call Darwin." That was always a problem as Darwin, who says he's been here for 12 years still CANNOT speak English well enough to answer questions or explain himself. As a result, there is NO WAY I would ever recommend AREON or Darwin Rodriguez, the owner! EVER! Lastly, the negligent work was witnessed by both the new HVAC man and our plumber!

This month my heater was found to work improperly by the gas company and I needed to have it fixed for safety reasons before I could use it again. The gas technician had a bit of a discouraging attitude towards the furnace being able to be repaired and hinted that it would have to be replaced but Ray proved otherwise. He cleaned it thoroughly checked it up and down replaced a duct and was able to ensure that it was running correctly and safely in a short amount of time. He gave me HONEST advice regarding the furnace and hot water heater. When the gas tech came by to reinspect the furnace he was impressed by Ray's work also and he gave it the all clear to go! If only all HVAC and other appliance servicers were as knowledgeable, as good of a worker, courteous, friendly and fair priced as Ray, getting work done in a home would be something to look forward to. Oh and not to forget he was on time and left the area clean.
